A luxury sedan car is parked very beautifully in the biggest cafe in the city. The owner looked out with his very dashing style. He was with a woman, who looked very sweet.

Anyone who saw it, must immediately know that this man is not a random person.

That afternoon after returning from the tomb, Ayud took Rachel to his cafe subscription. The girl wanted to refuse, but Ayud insisted.

In the crowd, Ayud gave the girl a jewel ring that looked very expensive. He was sitting in front of the girl. The visitors who came all looked towards them.

"Rachel, marry me".

Rachel gasped then immediately got up, leaving the man behind.

"I'm sorry, I can't. It's too sudden, I'm not ready".

He then ran away from the cafe without any intention of looking back. The man was there. Some of the cafe visitors who saw her were whispering. Shame and pain, mixed into one.

...Rachel POV's...

There are so many facts that I have to accept with great difficulty. The death of Liam's grandfather, the new company added the man. The man I wanted to avoid most my life.

How could he give me that ring and get me married?. Did he forget how he treated me?. To fall back in the same hole the second time, I was completely unwilling.

The man was too proud, even to apologize in the right way he could not afford to do. How could he possibly want me to engage in a relationship that is much, much deeper than that of an employer and an employee?

How traumatized I was by his attitude first. He almost killed me very cruelly. How could he forget all that?

How can I see his face tomorrow at the office?. Ah, why does everything feel so heavy on my mind. Can't I breathe freely without thinking about the problem?. I'm really tired.

The girl had just wanted to close her eyes, when suddenly her HP rang indicating a message had come in. Quickly grab the tiny object, and check who sent him the message.

'Albert".

Mumbled. Soon, it rang and the girl pressed the answer button. There was a heavy sound across there,

"Good night, my former secretary. How are you".

Rachel chuckled at the unusual greeting. He also replied with no less fierce.

"Good night my ex-boss, I'm good".

The two then engaged in a conversation that was interspersed with laughter until it did not feel the clock showed at 1 p.m. Rachel immediately ended their conversation, and promised to meet the next day.

The girl still daydreamed for a while, before finally falling asleep in the dreamland.

In the afternoon after work, Rachel is picked up by her former boss.They look happy, and throw each other a smile.

From a distance, Ayud looked at the two couples with a sad look that was difficult to explain. Not feeling, two tears fell from his handsome face. He smiled bitterly.

Turns out, that was the reason her girl rejected her proposal. In the heart of the girl, there was already someone else. The man nodded,

"Have I failed the cake?. I'm sorry, it looks like I did fail to get Rachel back with me like your wish cake. I'm sorry".

Elsewhere, in a restaurant

Albert. Rachel and her ex-boss were enjoying their meal. Albert occasionally teases the girl, who successfully makes her cheeks blush.

It's been over a month, since the girl worked at Liam's Group. Since then, they have never met. Of course, the longing in the hearts of the two is getting worse.

That afternoon they spent time together until the clock showed at 10 p.m. The two then returned home feeling happy in each other's hearts.

The next day, Rachel stepped foot into her new office. Some male employees looked at him with gazes as if to eat him.

Rachel didn't care about it, she chose to focus on her work. Indeed, since he became a new employee in this company already so many men who liked him.

However, he rejects them all subtly, His heart is really not ready for a new relationship. Erin who had just walked out of the room approached Rachel.

He patted the girl's shoulder slowly,

"Call Ayud sir to his room".

Rachel looked over, though,

"Now?".

Erin smiled mockingly,

Erin laughed and continued her work. Rachel shook her head,

"Basic".

The girl opened the door of her boss room carefully. The man was standing in front of a large window, which immediately showed a beautiful view of Seoul. Rachel knocked on the door and bowed respectfully,

"What did you call me?".

Ayud looked, though,

"sit".

Rachel followed the employer's instructions. And a moment later, Ayud did the same.

"Sorry to interrupt your work. There's something I want to ask you directly".

He took a deep breath, though,

"Do you like Albert?".

Rachel flinched

"You mean sir?".

The man looked seriously at the woman who was now in front of him.

"Look, it's your right to like anyone. However, I'm just a little sorry that I failed to make you like me. But, as a man of course I have to be big-spirited to accept my defeat".

Ayud rubbed his chin, then smiled bitterly.

"Grandfather wants our relationship back to be as good as it should be. I promised him something, something I couldn't do well. I realize I forced you too much".

The man was silent. He stared at the photo of his late grandfather on his desk.

"I failed to get you back to me. I even lost to Albert. It's bitter, but I have to accept it.

Ayud sighed, the man's face looked flushed.

"Now just like this, you can go wherever you want. I won't ban you anymore. But please answer my question honestly, do you like Albert?".

Rachel was shocked to hear the question. He really didn't think something like this would happen. He looked at the man in front of him, looking for sincerity there.

"Well, this isn't what I really want. You never asked me how I felt about you. You never tried to apologize for everything you used to do to me".

Rachel wiped away the tears that fell on her cheeks, she said,

"You don't even want to give me comfort. To be honest, I'm still traumatized by you. Remember how you used to treat me".

The girl sobbed, her heart as if in verses by a sharp object.

"You even asked me to marry solely because of grandfather's wishes right?. Have you ever loved me like I desperately loved you?. I even rejected all men for your sake".

The girl stood up, her body trembling.

"Look my whole life, I've never liked another man like you. Excuse me".

Rachel lowered her head respectfully and left the man's room with a very sad feeling. Ayud was there, not knowing what to say.

...Rachel POV's...

I hate that guy. In all probability, he decided unilaterally about what I thought. Does he know how I feel?. And Albert?. I never loved her like I loved you b*doh.

Why is that man so selfish. Just apologize for not being able to do it right. I want to avoid it for the rest of my life if I can, but fate has brought me back and forth with it many times.

I don't know when I really liked that guy. He's arrogant, he's haughty too, but I like him that way. Not because of Liam's grandfather's request or because of our matchmaking, not at all.

That stupid request of his really made my heart ache. How could he ask me to leave, while I willingly stayed beside him. That guy is really b*doh.

I kept swearing while cleaning up my stuff. I have to go home to calm myself down. Right now my appearance must be very messy. The tears of this s*have never stopped flowing.

Hopefully, one day, the two people soon realize their respective feelings. And no longer dissolve in this obscurity.
