Rachel clasped the resignation letter in her hand trembling. He had made the decision to leave the man's company, albeit at all costs.
He really needed this job. But, seeing that selfish man every day, completely drained his energy.
Rachel handed the letter over carefully.
As fast as lightning, Ayud opened it and in the blink of an eye the letter had moved to the floor.
"What the fuck. You want to quit this company?. Indeed, there is nothing else we can fix, huh?. Or, you gave up fixing all this because of that man?. What's so great about him on my appeal?".
Ayud clenched his hands furiously, his breath seemed to hunt.
"I'm trying to make myself fit to be with you. Why did you choose to leave me?. I've been trying to be better than my previous version. That's all I do for you, just for you".
The man stood his back to Rachel, with his body trembling.
"Until your heart does this to me. Why is it so hard for you to give me a chance?. Why would you prefer that man, rather than me?".
Rachel stood up clumsily, her legs shaking. The girl tried to smile, to calm her heart. He approached the man, and,
"Sorry Ay, but I'm just gonna resign and not go to another world?".
He hoped that the joke would make the man laugh. However, it did not work.the man turned his body while crying. Rachel flinched looking at him.
"I really want to be with you Rachel, really want to. Don't make me beg for more of your attention than this".
Rachel smiled, though,
"You have so many fans Ay, where maybe you can be loyal to one woman".
The man smiled bitterly,
"I'm not the man Rachel used to be, I've been trying to change. I don't know since when I started liking you, a feeling that almost makes me claustrophobic every time I think about you".
Ayud wiped away his tears that kept falling, without shame. The self-esteem that had been kept desperately, was now shattered in disarray before the woman.
"I know I'm no better than the man you're with now. I can't make you happy like him. If that's the truth, please tell me that you hate me and tell me to stop".
Rachel started crying, the girl's body was shaking.
"I can't do it, don't know why. How often I try to hate you, but I can't. No matter how hard I dodge, it's always you who controls my whole mind".
Ayud hugged Rachel warmly, and the girl sobbed there.
"I'm sorry for my old attitude, forgive all my treatment of you. I'm trying to get better for you now. Wait for me, huh?".
Rachel nodded. That afternoon, the sky was brighter than usual. Both people are equally filled with happiness, which cannot be described with words.
The next day, Rachel left for work with a beaming face. That great happiness, emanated from her beautiful face and she could not hide.
Erin, who saw the change of her co-worker, was also curious. However, Rachel chose not to tell him.
That is, the beautiful days go very well and everything feels so sweet. At least, that was how Rachel had felt for almost a week.
That afternoon, while he was focusing on his work, his phone suddenly rang. There was Albert's lethargic voice across the street,
"What's Al?",
Rachel asked when she heard the man's voice sound weak. Albert nodded,
"Are you busy?".
Rachel smiled
"Yes, it's still Al's working hours. What's up?. You're all right, right?".
Albert was silent, a moment later the man opened his voice.
"Papa company threatened to close Ra",
Albert said weakly. The girl was shocked to hear it. He slightly raised his tone, forgetting that he was in the office right now.
"What's?".
A few employees looked at her, Rachel smiled and bowed respectfully. Gesticulating with his hand, if he apologizes. The girl continued their conversation, though,
"Why can?. Who put Mayora Enterprise in danger of being shut down?".
Albert spoke softly, his voice was really weak.
"Sir Ayud Jonathan".
That afternoon, Rachel decides to work half a day and meets Albert in his office. From a distance, the man appeared to be bowed on his desk. Rachel shook the body, though,
The man stood up, his handsome face looking extremely pale.
"Pak Ayud wants to withdraw all our shares in his company Ra. He's threatening all the companies in this country not to buy our shares. It happened so suddenly, without any fault on our part".
Albert sighed, his face looked very sad.
"If that happens, we can't make money and pay our employees. What have we done Ra, so that Ayud sir suddenly behaves like this?".
The man was silent for a moment, he looked at Rachel with a glare.
"If we can no longer invest anywhere, what is the fate of my employees?. What was my fault with your ex-husband Ra, I never did anything wrong to him".
Albert sighed in despair, his appearance looking disheveled.
"Papa doesn't know about this news yet. I fear the pain will return. I'm really dizzy. Sorry Ra, I got you involved in this".
The man tried to smile, although his face looked very frustrated. Rachel clasped Albert's hand, giving the man strength.
"I'll try to talk to Ayud Al, just pray I can fix everything. I didn't expect him to have to do all these things to you either. Really like a kid".
Rachel left Albert's company in a fit of rage. He rang Ayud's number and invited the man to meet. The man was very enthusiastic, thinking his lover was missing him.
...Rachel POV's...
What the fuck is that guy. I thought he had changed completely, so I gladly accepted his feelings. I really didn't think he would act this way.
I waited impatiently and glanced at my watch a few times. I deliberately chose this quiet place, near the city park so that our quarrel did not invite the attention of people passing by.
A while later, she came up with her always neat suit. His charm is absolutely deadly. She smiled at me, very sweet.
"What are you asking me to meet here, baby?. Missed me again, right?".
He tried to embrace me, but I dodged him. The man looked astonished, though,
"What's wrong?. Did I make another mistake for you, baby?".
I looked up at him, this guy is really tall.
"What do you mean you did it all to Albert?. What's wrong with you, so you sacrifice the fate of hundreds of employees who work in his company?. Isn't this so childish Ay?".
He sighed, I really didn't want to make this man angry. But it was his attitude that forced me to do that.
"I think you miss me Ra, again because of Albert?. Look, I know what your relationship is with her. You two are too close, I don't like it".
I sneered, this man's behavior is really childish.
"But why do you have to do all this?. It's a personal matter of Ay, those employees are completely innocent. You're the leader of Liam's Group, but your attitude is childish".
he smiled bitterly,
"So that's how you defended Albert?. Ah, it turns out that my guess is correct. You like that guy, don't you?".
I was angry to hear the words of this man. He accused me of doing things I didn't do at all.
"Our closeness makes you so unhappy huh?. So, what about Carene even Haera who until you sleep together?. Do you think I can take her, Ay?".
As soon as I saw her face change, I shuddered at her.
"What do you mean get them into this?".
I tried to smile, even though my legs were trembling.
"I never bothered with your past with them Ay. Even you got pregnant with my foster brother Carene. Then why does my closeness to Albert make you like this?".
I stared at the haughty man furiously. He turned his face away.
"Don't just look at other people's mistakes Ay, cut back on that bit of selfishness. When do you want someone else to understand you?. Meanwhile, you have no intention to fix it in the slightest".
I left him who was still standing there. Sometimes, he had to teach a lesson. It's selfish men.
...Rachel POV End's...
The man stared at the girl's departure in disappointment. He did not expect the woman would sacrifice for Albert to the extent. Again, that innocent flower pot had to be the victim of his anger.
