GPA CHAPTER XLI - Last Meeting -

Ayud stared weakly at the invitation letter that Albert had just given him. His heart was so hard hit, it felt like a dream. So many dreams did he want to do with the girl.

My heart hurts so much, I really want to m*ti it feels. It's too hard to accept this reality. Just a moment ago, I imagined the sweet things that we would both go through. Apparently, all never came through.

I started crying, a sense of tightness really filled my chest cavity. I don't care about Huang staring at me confused. My world is really broken now.

I took a picture of my late grandfather, framed so sweetly on my desk. I stared at the soft old face, my tears falling down my cheeks. I gently caressed the face in the photo, and muttered softly.

"I'm sorry cake, I can't fulfill your last wish. The girl is going to marry someone else's cake. We don't want to have to let go. My pride really hurt cake".

I wiped away the tears that were falling incessantly. The tightness in my chest is getting worse.

"I really lost her now cake. But this isn't his fault, I've been ignoring him all along. It's natural that he left me like that. We're sincere he's a cake".

I was too late in my endless sadness. I ignored all the astonished and confused gazes of my Manager. Today, I have completely lost all my hopes.

The man continued to stare at the photo of the grandfather with sadness. He missed lunch and even dinner. Manager Huang who witnessed that, was concerned.

Office hours show at 10 p.m. All of his employees have been home since this afternoon. However, Manager Huang and the man still lingered there.

Manager Huang approached the employer who looked down. He dared to greet his master.

"Master, it's been a very night. You need to rest and eat, let me drive you home. I'm afraid you'll get sick if you keep this up, sir".

Ayud looked up at the Manager. He got up weakly, and stepped out of his room. The manager followed him from behind.

Along the way, the man chose to remain silent. He closed his eyes and folded his hands to his chest. Manager Huang occasionally stared at the employer through the rearview mirror of the car. He's really worried.

The next day, Rachel left for work as usual. The girl sounded a little humming while tidying up her work desk. Every now and then, he glanced at the door of the man's room. From yesterday, the master did not appear to have come out of it.

Erin, who had just come to the girl, folded her hands to her chest.

"Ra, you know what happened yesterday?".

Rachel shook her head,

"No, what's wrong Er?".

Erin looked at her co-worker, seriously.

"Yesterday I was overtime because of the s*alan job that kept asking for the revision. Suddenly, from the room Ayud sir heard the sound of objects on the slam. I think something happened to our boss".

Rachel stopped her activity, she looked at Erin.

"What happened to her, Er?. What time were you in the office yesterday?".

"At 8 pm Ra, and until that hour Ayud sir has not left his room. I think something's wrong with our employer Ra. I'm a little worried".

They were still talking when the master came. Rachel gestured with her hand, and told the girl to sit down. Ayud looked at them briefly, then entered his room.

Rachel gasp. The man's face looked very pale, as if he hadn't slept all night. The girl tried to concentrate on her work. Suddenly, the phone on his desk rang. The girl quickly answered him,

"Yes, what's wrong, sir?".

There was the flat voice of the master from across there,

"To my room now".

The phone was immediately closed and the girl rushed to the master's room. He knocks carefully at the door of his master and steps in.

"What's the matter sir, you're calling me?".

The man sat back to him. His voice sounded a bit hoarse, though,

"Sit down, I have something to tell you".

A moment after the girl sat down, the man turned his chair around. He thrust out a ring box that was beautifully stored inside his box. Rachel looked at the man, though,

"What is this sir?".

Ayud sighed,

"Take this your wedding gift from me. Sorry, I can't give you more than this. I congratulate you on your marriage to Albert".

The man stood up and faced the window.

"I think it's time we put an end to this. At any moment, our relationship is an impossibility. I will try to accept my defeat with a big chest. May you always be happy".

Rachel cried, she did not expect that man would actually choose to give up like this. In fact, he wished the man was fighting to keep him. He smiled wryly, though,

"Thank you sir for your kindness. We will be very happy when you are able to attend. One more thing, I think it's time I quit your company. Thank you for your kindness so far, I'm sorry".

Rachel left the man's room with tears in her eyes. He did not expect, the end of their relationship would be as bitter as this. The man even chose to let go of her without any burden.

The disappointment in his heart really felt stifling. Everything he had done all this time, felt extremely futile. At any moment, they will never become something.

The girl packed her things and left the man's office. Her tears of pain made her chest feel extremely tight. He sighed,

"It turns out grandpa was wrong, I'll never be able to turn your granddaughter into a better cake. He even gave up on maintaining our relationship. I'm sorry cake".

The girl stopped the taxi and cried in silence. He had completely lost all of his dreams.
