Chapter 28 Meeting them

Aulia smiled with satisfaction at the reaction of her mother and grandmother Abhiyasa who heard about Abhiyasa's religious differences with her boyfriend.

He felt that later the Abhiyasa family would oppose Abhiyasa's relationship with Hani.

Arriving at home, Abhiyasa's grandmother and mother directly told Abhiyasa to meet them immediately. 

"Yasa, are you dating a woman who has different beliefs than us?" ask Abhiyasa's mother to Abhiyasa who just sat in front of him.

Abhiyasa's eyes widened to hear a question from his mother. And also the look in the eyes of his grandmother and father made him like a defendant.

"Abhiyasa, why don't you answer?" ask Abhiyasa's father firmly.

Abhiyasa sighed. He did not expect that this soon their relationship could be known by his family.

"Sorry Dad, Mom, Grandma. The plan is tomorrow Yasa will bring him to this house to meet you, " Abhiyasa said with a smile to try to melt their hearts.

"Mom became curious, which woman can melt the heart of the mother's son who is very difficult to be touched by any woman," Abhiyasa's mother said with a chuckle.

Abhiyasa's father and grandmother also chuckled at what Abhiyasa's mother said."

"But Yasa, for your differences.. You must know right?" ask Abhiyasa's father while looking at his son.

Abhiyasa again sighed. After that he smiled and said,

"Yasa knows Pa. We both know that."

"Alright, Grandma is very much looking forward to his arrival in this house" said Abhiyasa's grandmother, smiling to calm Abhiyasa's heart.

Abhiyasa embraced her grandmother's body lovingly and said,

"Thank you, Grandma. Yasa guarantee, Grandma will definitely like Hani."

"Oh... So her name is Hani?" abhiyasa's mother said with a smile teasing her son.

Abhiyasa's father and Abhiyasa's grandmother also smiled at him. This made Abhiyasa a little relieved. But he was still thinking about how their relationship would go.

I once told Hani not to think about it, but I thought about it myself, Abhiyasa said in his heart while smilingly laughing at himself.

"Luckily, Aulia's doctor, who is your high school friend, told her mom and grandma about this. If not, surely we will not know," said Abhiyasa's mother as if insinuating her son.

Abhiyasa turned to his mother. She is shocked when she hears Aulia's name again trying to destroy her relationship with Hani.

"When did you meet her?" ask Abhiyasa probing.

"So, we met with Aulia's doctor while taking Grandma regular checkups at Anisa's doctor. It turned out that Aulia's doctor was helping Anisa's doctor there. Therefore we immediately called you to come here," replied Abhiyasa's mother with a chuckle considering their surprise at the time Aulia told them.

Abhiyasa simply smiled without responding to his mother's words with words. Even now his mind was on Aulia. Not because she thought about it like she thought of Hani, but she cursed what Aulia did to destroy her relationship with Hani.

After returning from his parents' house, Abhiyasa immediately went home. He stared at Hani's house which looked already very quiet.

That morning Abhiyasa brought food to eat with Hani at her lover's house.

"This is where you buy Abhi?" hani asked while moving the food Abhi had brought earlier on the empty plates he had just taken from the kitchen.

"In front of the clock market so many are selling," replied Abhiyasa while preparing a drink for them.

Abhiyasa smiled and nodded his head in response to Hani's question which looked very interested in her words.

"Other times take me there huh," Hani pinta with a face begging her.

Suddenly Abhiyasa remembered something. He put down the glasses he prepared and turned to look at his lover, saying,

"What if tomorrow morning we ride a bike?"

Hani nodded his head enthusiastically and said,

"Mauu…."

Abhiyasa chuckled to see that his lover was very enthusiastic and looked very happy with his invitation.

"Then, what bike do you want to use? Do you want to buy a bike after breakfast?" asked Abhiyasa while chuckling.

Hani's smile faded. He forgot one thing, his bike was not with him in that house.

"I forgot that my bike was still in my parents' house" Hani replied with a big smile revealing a row of his teeth.

"Then... how?" asked Abhiyasa as he scrunched his forehead.

Hani approached Abhiyasa, pulled his hand and sat him in the chair in front of him. Then he said,

"After eating, please take me for a bike at my parents' house."

Abhiyasa agreed. In his heart he said,

Maybe it's time I meet Hani's family, before Hani meets my family tomorrow.

"Hani, tomorrow afternoon come with me, yes" Abhiyasa asked while holding Hani's hand.

"Where?" ask Hani with curiosity.

"To my parents' house. We had dinner together there" Abhiyasa replied, clasping Hani's hand tightly to reassure him.

Hani looked doubtfully at Abhiyasa and said,

"Abhi, I'm scared. Do they want to accept me? While the word Auli–"

"Don't believe his words. He wants to destroy our relationship. Trust me, my family wants to know you. And they can't wait to get to know you" said Abhiyasa who interrupted Hani's words.

He still clasped Hani's hand and looked her in the eye to convince her that he was not alone. And there will be Abhiyasa who is always with him.

Hani looks into Abhiyasa's eyes and from Abhiyasa's eyes he can be sure if the man in front of him has the status of his girlfriend is indeed serious with what he said.

Hani smiled and nodded his head. Now he convinced himself to trust more in his feelings and in Abhiyasa than to believe in the words of Aulia.

"All right, now we have breakfast first. After this we'll go to your parents' house" Abhiyasa said, pinching Hani's nose.

After they finished breakfast, they were now ready to go to Hani's parents' house.

Abhiyasa really prepared himself so that both of Hani's parents would accept their relationship.

"Mama.. Papa... Hani's coming home…!" hani exclaimed as he walked into his house.

Abhiyasa held Hani's hand to stop his steps. Then he said to her,

Out came a middle-aged woman and a middle-aged man approaching them. The middle-aged man looked at Abhiyasa and said,

"Who is this man Hani?"
