Chapter 31 Upset

Hani smiled broadly at the rows of her teeth as Abhiyasa's mother asked her. She was embarrassed to answer questions from Abhiyasa's mother.

"It's all my fault, ma'am. Hani fell off the bike because I was pedaling my bike too fast, leaving it far behind me" Abhiyasa said, showing his regretful face.

"Yasa, why are you like that? Mommy doesn't think you can leave the girl you love like you're racing with her? Even if you are racing with him, you should have relented and kept behind him" Abhiyasa's mother said, looking at her son as if scolding him.

Abhiyasa sighed, he deeply regretted his actions. What else to make his lover fell because of his boredom. Then he said,

"Yasa knows Mom. Only then was Yasa's mind being filled with Grandma's state. Yasa is afraid if... Eh yes, how is Grandma Ma'am?"

Abhiyasa just remembered about his grandmother. He walked into his grandmother's room. And again he left Hani because he was worried about his grandmother who was very dear to him.

Abhiyasa's mother shook her head to see her son who again forgot the presence of the girl he loved because of his concern for his grandmother.

"Just look at Hani. Abhiyasa is Grandma's favorite granddaughter. They were very close in the past. Do not be hurt, yes..," said Abhiyasa's mother while rubbing Hani's shoulder and smiling at him.

"I was also very close to my grandmother. So.. I know how Abhiyasa is feeling right now," said Hani while smiling sweetly at Abhiyasa's mother.

Abhiyasa's mother looked in admiration at Hani and she smiled at him. Then he said,

"You are good Hani. It's not wrong for Yasa to choose you to be his heartmate."

Hani smiled embarrassedly to the point of being speechless. He also did not know what to do at this time. In his heart he called Abhiyasa to pick him up and take him wherever he went. 

"Let's go there. We'll meet your girlfriend's favorite grandmother" Abhiyasa's mother took Hani to Abhiyasa's grandmother's room.

Hani also according. He walked by being wedged by Abhiyasa's mother.

"Be careful how you walk. If you fall, you may be scolded by Yasa" said Abhiyasa's mother while chuckling.

"Mother..," said Hani who was blushing embarrassed.

Suddenly the chatter of Hani and Abhiyasa's mother comes to a halt. They were astonished to see Abhiyasa who was standing in front of the entrance to his grandmother's room. 

The two of them looked at each other as if asking through their eyes about Abhiyasa who was standing in front of her grandmother's room door when the door was already open.

"Yasa, why don't you come in?" ask Abhiyasa's mother while walking towards him along with Hani.

Abhiyasa turned to his mother after hearing her mother's voice asking her. Instantly he hurriedly approached Hani and embraced his shoulder.

"Let Yasa alone help him walk Bu," said Abhiyasa who had embraced Hani's shoulder.

Abhiyasa's mother releases Hani's arm, saying,

"This habit of yours, you must have forgotten all if you were worried about Grandma."

Abhiyasa smiled broadly in response to his mother's words, saying,

"Sorry Yasa Bu."

After that he turned to look at Hani who was beside him. He looked at her with a look full of regret and said,

"Sorry, Honey."

Hani smiled sweetly at her lover. She knew what Abhiyasa was feeling and she was unwilling to blame him.

"Then, why don't you go into Grandma's room?" ask Abhiyasa's mother with curiosity.

Suddenly Abhiyasa and Hani are shocked when they turn to the room of her grandmother who already has Aulia is walking from inside the grandmother's room towards them. 

While Abhiyasa's mother did not look surprised at all. He turned towards Aulia and said,

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Aulia smiled sweetly at Abhi's mother while saying,

"No Ma'am. Grandma just wanted to be accompanied by Mom and Yasa."

"Yuk Honey we go in," Abhiyasa invites her while embracing Hani's shoulder and greets her to walk into her grandmother's room.

"But Grandma only wants to meet with mom and you" said Aulia as if to signal that Hani is not allowed into the room.

Abhiyasa's footsteps stopped. Hani stopped his steps. Abhiyasa turned his head towards the back where Aulia was still standing looking at him. Then he said,

"What do you mean Hani can't come in? She's my future wife and she has to come inside with me to see grandma. And the only thing that has nothing to do with our family is you. You better not be here."

"But I'm the doctor who handles Grandma right now," Aulia said.

Abhiyasa grinned. He stared intently at Aulia while saying,

"Then just do your job and don't go into the room if it's not needed."

"Can't be like that. I have to–"

"I'll change the doctor" Abhiyasa said firmly.

Then he re-embraced Hani's shoulder and swept her into his grandmother's room.

Hani just kept quiet. He doesn't know how to. In his heart he was very happy that Abhiyasa was taking his side. But on the other hand he also pity Aulia who is trying to get close to the Abhiyasa family.

Abhiyasa's mother looked at Aulia with a disappointed look. She smiled at Aulia. Unfortunately Abhiyasa's mother's smile was different from her smile at Hani. He felt disappointed in Aulia who had to be chosen as Abhiyasa's grandmother's doctor earlier.

Abhiyasa's mother walked away from Aulia without saying anything to her. In his heart he said,

It's just right that Yasa doesn't like you. You seem to be very sneaky. Even Hani didn't say anything against you.

Aulia was standing there alone. Even he doesn't know what to do. If she approached Abhiyasa's grandmother's room, Abhiyasa would be angry with her. But he also did not want to just stay outside Abhiyasa's grandmother's room and hear the laughter of Hani and the others from the room.

Finally he just stood beside the door of Abhiyasa's grandmother's room to listen to whatever they were talking about inside there.

It should have been me who was there and joking with them, not Hani, Aulia grumbled in her heart in regret.

There was a joking laugh from inside Abhiyasa's grandmother's room. Even Abhiyasa's grandmother warmly welcomed and praised Hani's beauty. 

It all made Aulia very upset when she heard it. What's more when Abhiyasa's grandmother recounted Abhiyasa's childhood to Hani, she was eager to replace Hani to be in there.

"You are so beautiful, Hani. It's just right that Yasa loves you so much. This time he had a girlfriend. And we know how much Yasa loves you," Abhiyasa's grandmother said, holding Hani's hand and looking at her with a smile that calmed Hani's heart when she saw him.

All the words of Abhiyasa's grandmother made Aulia become upset. His hands clenched and his eyes filled with annoyance as he grumbled in his heart.

You're a brash Hani. Why did you take away what should be mine? I don't accept. I have to get what I have to have.
