Chapter 45 Hani's Decree

All of Hani's work is over. He can finish everything before his return hour which is classified as night for other workers.

Suddenly his car stopped somewhere that caught his attention.

A large building on the side of the road that has its own distinctive shape seems to successfully hypnotize Hani to stop at that place.

'Masjid Al - Hidayah'

Hani's gaze now turned to the large writing contained in the building. 

Like a hypnotized person, Hani wanted to approach the mosque and see it more closely.

Get Hani out of his car. He looked in amazement at the large building that read the mosque.

He even approached to see the grandeur of the mosque. His eyes did not stop staring in admiration at the mosque. Even his heart felt very happy to be in that place.

Hani held onto her chest which felt like it was beating very fast. He felt as if he was being close to Abhiyasa, the man he loved so much.

"Am I in love with this place?" hani asked by looking at the mosque in front of him and holding his chest with his right hand.

After that his eyes were fixed on a woman who was hijab and walked through Hani.

I don't know what Hani thought until it dissolved in his mind when he saw the woman to enter the mosque.

After that he woke up and returned to his car which was parked in the parking area of the mosque.

Hani picks up her phone from inside her bag and calls one of the numbers in her contacts.

Assalamualaikum.., greet someone from across there.

"Wa'alaikumussalam..," replied Hani from the phone.

Hani, what's wrong? Is Hani coming here? ask the man to Hani.

"Umi, it looks like Hani has already decided," Hani replied firmly without sounding any hesitation.

I mean Hani.., Umi Halimah hangs her words.

"Wait for Hani Umi. Hani will be there now" Hani said before she ended her phone call without greeting when she ended it.

Hani immediately drove his car leaving the mosque parking lot to the house of Umi Halimah.

I don't know why Hani is feeling so happy right now. Her lips were unceasingly smiling despite only being alone driving her car.

Until a few minutes passed until he arrived at a gate that read 'Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin'.

Enter Hani's car after the gate was opened by security guards who already knew Hani. They invited Hani to enter as a guest from Umi Halimah and Abi Farhan.

It seems that Hani's arrival has been awaited by Umi Halimah. On the terrace of his house, Umi Halimah stood smilingly welcoming Hani's arrival at his house.

"Umi..," said Hani while running a small approach to Umi Halimah.

Umi Halimah smiled getting a hug from Hani. Umi Halimah's hand returned Hani's embrace, saying,

"Assynolt…."

Hani unraveled her slight embrace while smiling broadly at Umi Halimah. Then he said,

"Wa'alaikumussalam. Sorry Umi, Hani forgot."

"This habit of yours. Let's go inside" said Umi Halimah while embracing Hani's shoulder to invite her into the house.

Hani stopped his steps when he was about to enter the house. He looked at the chair on the porch and said,

"We better talk here, Umi."

"After Hani, Umi will get drinks and cakes first yes," said Umi Halimah as she moved from her seat.

Hani held the hand of Umi Halimah to stop her saying,

"No need for Umi. Hani just for a second. Hani just wanted to ask Umi something."

Umi Halimah sat down again. He looked at Hani with his gentle gaze and said,

"What's up Hani? It seems so important."

Hani inhaled his breath, then slowly let it out. After that he said,

"Umi, can Hani know what the conditions are if Hani wants to change his faith?"

Umi Halimah smiled at Hani's question. Umi Halimah's hand gently rubbed Hani's beautiful hair while saying,

"Is Hani sure?"

Hani nodded her head in response to Umi Halimah's question to her.

"Did Hani's family know about this?" ask Umi Halimah back to Hani.

Hani shook her head without answering with any question words from Umi Halimah to her.

"Did both of Hani's parents agree with Hani's decision to convert?" ask Umi Halimah back to Hani.

"Umi Not yet. They don't know anything yet. They don't even know about what Hani's been doing lately. Hani suddenly got an answer from Hani's heart. That's why Hani contacted Umi earlier," replied Hani accompanied by his head when he initially answered Umi Halimah's question.

Umi Halimah smiled back at him. Umi Halimah's hand rubbed gently Hani's hand. She looked Hani in the eyes and smiled at him saying,

"Try talking to Hani's family first. Tell Hani's true heart's wishes. Umi believes that both of Hani's parents will definitely accept Hani's decision well. Umi doesn't want Hani's parents' condolences not to accompany Hani's current good wishes."

Suddenly, Hani's face turned sad. From her face it was Umi Halimah could see fear, hesitation and uncertainty.

"Believe Hani, all parents always want their child to be happy. They will wish the best for their children. So did both of Hani's parents. They will definitely support Hani's decision because they want to see Hani happy" Umi Halimah told Hani who was bowing her head.

Hearing what Umi Halimah said, Hani's head looked up at Umi Halimah who was smiling at her.

"Are Umi sure they'll agree to it?" asked Hani hesitantly.

Umi Halimah smiled and nodded her head to convince Hani. He also said,

"If they have agreed, come here, Umi will help you to change your faith."

"But Umi, what if they would never agree to it? What should Hani do?" asked Hani enthusiastically.

"Take them know that your choice right now is your own heart's faith, not something else. Umi is confident that Allah will help Hani solve all the problems that Hani is facing" replied Umi Halimah.

"If they are still against Hani's will, can Hani stick with Hani's desire to convert?" ask Hani back to Umi Halimah.

Umi Halimah smiled and nodded her head as she said,

"If indeed Hani's heart's desire remains firm and will not change again, come here, Umi will help you. And remember Hani, religion is not for making toys."

"Know it's Umi. Pray for Hani to get the blessing of Hani's family, especially both Hani's parents," said Hani while holding both hands Umi Halimah.

"Definitely Hani. Umi always wishes Hani all the best" said Umi Halimah, smiling at Hani.

After that Hani said goodbye to Umi Halimah and left the place with a prayer accompaniment from Umi Halimah.
