HAPPIER
CHAPTER 21

"Looks like fate's been really happy to bring us together lately, Ms. Bery." Said a man who suddenly came from behind us.

I looked at him and it turned out to be Mr. Rangga. Again and again, Mr. Rangga. It seems like he's always everywhere.

"Eh, Mr. Rangga." a little surprised but Bery still greeted him with a friendly smile.

"I also attended this reunion event, we are one campus, only I am from Civil engineering and we are also different forces." His words explained after getting a questionable look by Bery.

"Oh that's not expecting well sir it turns out we're a alma mater." Bery said again as he stepped into the newly opened elevator followed by me and Mr. Rangga.

I deliberately stood between them, giving a safe distance, coincidentally just the three of us were in the elevator. Mr. Rangga was uncomfortable with my attitude but I ignored, the most important thing is the comfort and safety of Bery.

"It's coming home, mom?" Ask Bery again as if he thinks I don't exist.

"Yes sir" Bery replied briefly but kept a friendly smile.

"Home delivered with this Sky mas yah?" He asked again a glance at me. "But if you want, come with me to go home, pity the mas will still have to go home alone again." Continue to offer a ride.

Bery glanced at me and I returned his gaze with sharp eyes on him.

"Sorry Mr. Rangga. Thank ye. I'm just Sky, I asked him here to pick me up." Her repulsion was subtle with her eyes still looking at me as if asking for help to support her lie.

I nodded my head and turned to Mr. Rangga as a form of justification that strengthens the reason Bery had.

"Okay, okay. Then I fill in first. Let's buy Bery, Rangga's mas." The first step out after the elevator has arrived at the hotel lobby.

I don't understand why Bery would have to lie by saying he would come home with me. But to be honest, my heart warmed when he would rather go home with me than with that man.

We walked side by side out of the hotel building, Bery seemed busy with his smartphone.

"Back home!" Take me after walking a few steps to leave him.

"You go home, Sky! Sister book this taxi online." Resist.

I rushed up to her and took over her phone and canceled her transaction. I don't care if his online driver berates Bery after this.

"What the hell are you Sky? You can't just cancel having people!" His face flushed and conveyed his protest.

"It's 10 o'clock in the night, come with me!" Again I pulled his hand without excuse to go to the parking lot.

I took a spare helmet and put it on his head. I always carry a spare helmet because sister Nindi likes to suddenly ask to be picked up.

"Sky, this isn't funny. See my clothes, ride a sport bike? How's it?" Protest annoyed.

I looked at her appearance from top to bottom. Weighing for a while then pushing my bike slightly over to the side of the park in a parking lot bounded by 20cm of concrete protruding upwards.

I opened my jacket and gave it to him.

"Wear the jacket now, ride on this concrete so it's easy to ride the bike." I ignored his angry face.

Bery stomped his feet but finally did as I said. She lifted her dress knee-high to reveal her black leggings which made me rush to throw my eyes in the other direction. His face was still murmuring with pursed lips.

"Udah, go ahead." He then hugged the backpack on my back.

I finally set up my bike at the speed of splitting the night on the streets of the capital with Bery sitting behind me.

"You want to go home or is there a place you want to go at night?" I asked a little scream.

"Can!" Reply steady.

"We're going to the harbor, yuk!"

"okay!" I also drove the motor towards the port, I happen to know there is a fishing spot there that is good also to hang out at night while enjoying the flickering lights that meet the port.

"Wow... cool!" Bery was amazed when we arrived. "You're used to being here, bring your girlfriend, Sky?" Ask again.

"What's he saying, girlfriend? It was you that I brought here" Sky said.

"Girl friends don't have, let alone girlfriends!" Reply lazily.

"You're a handsome Sky, when nothing comes to you?"

"What other question is that?" Sky

"Ngapain dating? Ribet!!!"

For whatever reason, until now I have not been able to understand how someone can turn into a fool in front of his girlfriend.

Want to be out a lot of money, watch a lot of time, attention and even honor for someone who is only a girlfriend. A status that has no legal basis other than a sense of ownership. Own and be owned by something fake. There's nothing, just running away, not taking responsibility.

He said the courtship was happy-happy while marriage was a responsibility. So for those who lack a sense of responsibility, it will definitely choose a courtship, just for fun, there is no standard rule that the courtship has rights and responsibilities in it. And the one who loses the most here is the one who likes his girlfriend the most, he is the one who will sacrifice the most.

I myself feel, once I like someone, then I will be the one who feels the most joy. Then I'm also the one who will sacrifice the most later, because of that, people like me are not suitable for dating, later I will be sick myself, because, self-destructed and self-fighting for someone who clearly has no obligation to repay all my feelings or kindness to him.

Instead of being afraid, I just don't want to waste my time on people who aren't necessarily my soul mate. Being the guardian of someone else's soul mate will never be included in my life's to do list.

"You're right, Sky! The dating is complicated. More harm than benefit." Said glaring.

I chose to let her enjoy the beautiful scenery before us. I looked at the moon that occasionally disappeared because it was covered in clouds.

It's been almost 30 minutes we've been standing here, I think it's enough to leave this place immediately.

I was thinking hard how Bery can get on the bike later? Here there is no footing that he can use to be a pedestal. As if understanding what I was thinking, Bery also looked at me with two shoulders and hands raised.

"You know, you already have a long dress like this, even taught to ride a motorcycle." His complaints regretted my decision.

I crouched down on the side of the bike with one knee resting on the ground and one leg flexed with the thigh flat forward.

I pat my thighs while nodding my chin towards Bery.

"Take my thighs." Saying to him.

Bery rolled his eyes at me, as if surprised and hesitant.

"Related, Sky? Big brother, huh?" The question is not good.

"Curl up, than I'm carrying!" He sneered at me not liking.

He then approached and removed his high heels. Slowly he punched one foot over my thigh and finally managed to sit sweetly on the passenger seat.
