CHAPTER 33

I was still struggling with the blanket when I felt my shoulders clapping softly. It feels like just close my eyes, who would dare to disturb my sleep so early, even though my phone alarm has not sounded, it is a sign that time still shows less than half an hour and a half 5 at dawn.

Again, my shoulder received repeated claps, even coupled with a slight push.

My eyes widened to hear a familiar voice calling my name. As fast as lightning I sat from my sleep.

"Yes Allah Sky, there are still 30 minutes left at dawn, I'm still sleepy to know...!" I was upset to kick the blanket that covered part of my body and then immediately went to the bathroom. My bladder was full and asked to be removed immediately.

When I woke up, I chose to clean my body by first going out to take a change of clothes.

I forgot, I forgot something, my hijab!!!

It's fitting that Sky was tense when he saw me earlier, surely he did not expect to see me without a hijab this morning. Ah, never mind.

I thought Sky was going to pray at dawn in the mosque, apparently he was being solemn' with his Quran recitation.

I immediately put my dirty clothes in a londry bag and put on my face. I heard Adzan's voice calling. I chose to sit on the side of the bed waiting for the Adzan to finish.

"Aren't you praying in the mosque?" I was surprised because Sky even spread 2 prayer mats after the Adhan.

"We're the congregation here." The answer then immediately established the dawn qobla sunnah prayer.

I finally got out of bed and pulled out a prayer mat for myself.

After the prayer, Sky changed his sitting position tilted to the right so I could see it from the side.

He then raised both his hands and offered prayers of kindness.

I bowed and was so solemn' that I guaranteed everything he promised.

"Extm..." Sky cleared his throat after finishing praying.

I raised my face and found that his right hand was close to mine. I put the hand on my forehead. He did not let go of my hand when I began to move his hand away from my forehead.

He pulled my hand and then gently snorted, twice. Not quite in the hand, Sky switched to pecking my forehead.

I, as hypnotized by all his tenderness, had no intention of rejecting what he had done to me.

A prayer he said then kissed my crown. He carried both his hands on my shoulders. He put his face back and looked at me meaningfully.

Sky smile!

My face warmed up to find his intense gaze, a soothing look, a gaze that wanted to make me drown in it.

"Thank you for accepting me as your husband." Her voice gently stroked my cheek with the tip of her thumb.

I smiled back at him, "I thank you, Sky!"

I'm the one who should thank me endlessly here, Sky helped me realize the dream I've been fighting for in my 10 years of life.

"Sky, will you be patient a little more?" Sky frowned, but he remained silent waiting for me to continue what I wanted to say to him

"I'm not ready to be your full wife yet..." I lowered my eyes not daring to meet Sky's eyes. "It's too soon, and you who I thought was like my own sister suddenly became my husband. The thing I can offer you the most right now is friendship, how about we make friends first, get to know each other, understand each other and dive into each other's characters and...."

"How about we go out first?" Sky said. He put both his hands on my shoulders and pressed them a little while not hurting.

I raised my face so I could look at him and look for something that would make me think about his idea. A boyfriend?

"Why? Just remember? So who's the pervert here?" Sky asked, putting his lips to my ear.

"Oh.that's. ekhhmm.." I tried to normalize my nervousness and throw away my embarrassment, I wouldn't let Sky so easily overturn my feelings.

"Sky, I'm seriously asking you to be patient in this marriage." I said after choosing to roll with a blanket instead of playing mobile phone like Sky.

I lay on my back, put one arm on the pillow, then put the other on my stomach.

Sky sighed then put his phone on the nightstand. He turned his body and faced me.

"I'm sincere! I'm also sorry that I haven't been able to be a good husband to you. But I promise, I'll learn." Seriously said.

"Thank you, I'm just afraid of being acted upon by angels for ignoring my husband."

Sky shook his head, "I am actually. This is not about you, this is about myself, I don't know. I'm afraid of a lot of things, and and I'm basically glad we're not too hasty in this relationship. I'm afraid I'm gonna hurt you." His words stare at me.

I held my hand and then stared fixedly into her sad eyes.

"What do you feel? How far is your fear? Share with me." I said softly.

Slowly Sky leaned his head on my stomach. I was quite surprised but saw him showing his fragility unconsciously my wriggled hand just now stroked his head gently.

"I'm a murderer..."

My chest felt tight to see his red face, his eyes were giving off a clear liquid. There was a stifled emotion looking at the veins on his face that were forming in several parts. His body shook after his cry broke.

"Whoever would have done it if it had been in your position back then, Sky. You are not wrong, you defend the honor of the great woman who gave birth to you. You have to remember that. You're a great kid, Sky. Brother is proud of you. Always!"

"I'm not your sister!!!" Sky said, then left me for the bathroom.
