CHAPTER 35

Me and Sky finally chose to borrow Anzi's motorbike for us to use to measure the streets in our hometown.

For Sky, this was the first for him after 10 years of setting foot back here. Unlike me who always steals time on the sidelines of my busy life to come to visit this city.

Early in the morning, we looked for breakfast in a field near the Great Mosque. There is a garden that is sold various kinds of traditional cakes typical of Nusantara.

We enjoyed our breakfast in a chair in the park. The atmosphere was so cool, the sound of birds chirping sounded very melodious.

Many people pass by here, some like us just enjoy breakfast outside, some are jogging, many young old who are doing activities looking for sweat.

After finishing breakfast, Sky decided to find a trash can to remove the trash from our food container earlier.

I chose to stay seated enjoying the very cool fresh air filling my breathing cavity.

"Bery.." a voice cut my composure. I looked towards the voice that greeted me.

"Yes, sorry... Who is it?" I asked after seeing the face of the person, although a little familiar, but I forgot, who was standing before me at this moment.

"Aldi, remember that, right?" He said his name and then sat in the long chair with me.

"Aldi... High School Friend?" My question is convincing.

"We're looking for a beach, yuk! Our new dhuhur back to the hotel, after that break, exhausted our new maghrib to the Hospital."

"Yes, I'll come along." I replied lethargic as if no longer excited after meeting Aldi earlier. I don't know why I feel disturbed by Aldi's presence. I don't know..

"Sky, you order the food, I'm going to the toilet right now." Without waiting for Sky's reply, Bery walked straight to where the toilet was.

After coming out of the toilet, Bery slightly lowered his head to put his phone into the handbag he was carrying. Suddenly he hit someone who was coming from the opposite direction to him. Bery was slightly knocked back, almost falling but he was still able to maintain his balance.

Bery himself only found out a moment ago after reading his name on a banner that stretched across the beach area and from the banner Bery could tell the face of the person.

"I. ah, I'm hungry, let's eat." Bery didn't want to talk about the man she had just accidentally met. Without turning his head let alone saying goodbye, Bery immediately passed from there by hugging Sky's arm.

Rio's hand instantly clenched, his face flushed holding back his emotions that felt peaking in the crown. He really did not expect to be ignored just like that by Bery after a long time did not meet. Didn't Bery depend on him? Didn't the Bery he knew have made himself the center of his world? Why in just 10 years he could change like this, even he was already together with other men. While he could not forget Bery at all, although many women who came to change in his life, but still only Bery who reigned high in his heart.
