Chapter 19 - Tracing the Forest

One night passed. Not as expected, Takashi fell asleep beside Nana instead. When she woke up, she found Nana's face so close. The girl looked at him while propping up her chin with one hand.

Takashi sat down. He moved away from Nana.

"You're getting better looking in your sleep. Now looking at you while sleeping is something I like" Nana said.

"It seems your pain has recovered. We have to continue the journey." Takashi is indifferent to Nana's expression. He could hardly wait to see someone other than himself.

Takashi and the three girls continue their journey. Their distance is getting closer to the place they are going.

Like the original destination, Takashi and the others walked through the forest. The atmosphere there is quite quiet. Zombies are almost invisible.

"It looks like the forest is a safe place from zombies" Sakura chanted as she stepped forward to accompany the others. Now they're walking down the street.

"I miss this calm atmosphere. The sounds of birds are quite soothing. In this situation, perhaps birds are the only lucky creatures. They can escape and fly freely at will." Sakura is back. Yuki who heard looked over and smiled. Takashi and Nana look serious walking the streets.

Takashi's steps came to a halt when he saw a dead body hanging from a tree. The stench also rattled clearly. Flies seemed to swarm the corpse. Takashi and the others instantly closed their noses. They also rushed through the location of the body.

"I forgot that the place we passed was a suicide forest. The bodies we saw were not zombies. But really dead bodies themselves" Nana said. In Japan, there is a forest of suicide. The place is often used by many people to commit suicide.

Yuki rounded his eyes. He stopped walking. "What did you say? The forest of suicide? I don't think it's a good idea if we continue our journey. The forest is quite large and full of tricks. My mother said, the evil spirits here will lead us astray," she explained at length.

"Why are you laughing? I'm serious!" Yuki frowned.

"Can you stop and walk? It will be night soon. We better find a place to rest" Takashi said. He seemed to be walking first as usual. Takashi ignored Yuki's warning and continued to step forward.

Nana and Sakura follow Takashi. The same thing Yuki had to do. The girl certainly will not separate herself from the group.

"I thirst. Our water supply is just a little bit" Nana said, noting the water in the bottle was running out.

"Me too" Takashi said.

Shortly afterwards, a lake was seen from a distance. Sakura became the first to see.

"Look! There's lake!" sakura exclaimed while pointing towards the lake. He and the others rushed to the lake.
