Chapter 39 - Checking the Situation

Takashi reflexes holding chest. Hana's sudden arrival made her startled. In addition, Hana also gave a very interesting question.

"Whatchu mean? What are you talking about?" tanya Takashi doesn't understand.

Takashi immediately sat in front of the bus steering wheel. This time he will drive. Hana sat next to him.

Slowly the bus started to run. The journey back began.

Silence enveloped the atmosphere. Hana looks pouted while folding her hands on her chest. He occasionally glanced at Takashi. Until the man finally realized it.

"You're angry with me?" chirps Takashi.

Takashi frowned. He really doesn't understand a girl like Hana.

After going through a long journey, Takashi and the others finally arrived at their destination. But Takashi had to stop the bus because he saw that there were a lot of zombies in the distance. The zombies covered the road to the harbor.

"Damn! We've come all the way here!" as Hana clenched fists in both hands.

"We have no choice but to return" Yuki said. She, Mayu, Nana, and Mayu huddle up to the steering wheel. Observe what is happening from the front.

"Yes, we have to turn around." Takashi immediately turned his bus to get away from the port.

"Do we need to check the state of the port through a building. There may be another way that we can enter" Mayu said.

"There's no harm in trying." Takashi nodded. He immediately searched for a building that was safe from zombies.

Takashi stopped the bus slowly. He, Hana, and Yuki, are tasked with checking into the roof of the building to check things out.

"I think the elevator's still useful. Looky!" yuki exclaimed while pointing towards the elevator he was referring to.

"You're right. We can get there faster too." Hana walked first into the elevator.

"You sure? Because I'm not sure" Takashi said hesitantly.

"Then you go up the stairs. Yuki and I will take the elevator" Hana said.

Takashi rolled his lazy eyeball. He was forced to follow Hana and Yuki. They immediately got into the elevator.

"He was not sure, but it went up as well" said Hana cynically.

"I can't leave alone" Takashi said.

"Me and Yuki can take care of ourselves" Hana replied.

"As far as you. I'm tired of arguing with you." Takashi tries to understand Hana.

Yuki just smiled. He was already used to listening to Takashi and Hana's debates.

The elevator door slowly closed. Yuki chose the top floor.

The elevator started to run. But in the middle, the movement faltered.

Takashi, Hana, and Yuki were all shocked. Their eyes were opened at the same time. The three were further shocked as the elevator suddenly moved downwards.

"Oharahhh!!!" Yuki shouted loudly. How not? The elevator is moving down at high speed. The lights in the elevator were also seen flickering. It was as if there was an electrical disturbance.

Takashi, Hana, and Yuki reflexively close themselves to the wall. They try to survive.
