Episode 281 - Is He Alright?
At night, Berli stayed home alone. He just lay limp and sick. After David took her to the clinic, she was delivered directly to his house. Although still in an awkward state, David did not hesitate to give his care.
Berli massaged his thin head. "I think my head is so dizzy".
Berli circulated his gaze around, he saw the thing on the nightstand.
"Chealing fast Berli. I know, it's not easy to accept. I just want to wish you a speedy recovery. And soon improve for our friendship:)"
Fill in a piece of paper that David wrote and left there with the drugs he got from the doctor.
Berli only sighed expressionlessly. He didn't want to respond to anything related to David. Although there was gratitude in his heart.
Meanwhile, in that magnificent room a man was still struggling with his decision.
Felix ruffled his hair thinly. "I can't keep going like this. It's torturing me, I have to make sure of the situation. Somehow finally, I just want to make sure that he's okay now"
He snatched the jacket hanging in his room, not forgetting he waltzed with a car key to come to Berli's house. Somehow he felt very agitated tonight. He was really worried about Berli's situation.
Felix breezed quickly, making Bu Inez wonder about the thing that made her rush.
"Son, where are you going?. It's late, why are you in such a hurry"
Felix looked over and stopped. "I have to take care of some business"
Bu Inez frowned. He knew exactly Felix was going to meet Berli. There was nothing else that made him rush, other than the woman.
"Where to Berli?". Mrs Inez said full of questions.
Felix nodded his head a little and left. He did not want to answer his mother's questions too much, because he would continue to criticize her.
Bu Inez only looked at Felix's passing back with a furious feeling. "The woman was still trying to convince my son. So, it seems like they're back together. I'm not gonna let this happen. Just look at it later".
After a while Felix traveled, he finally arrived at a place not far from Berli's residence. He noticed Berli's quiet home environment. He hasn't decided to go down yet, he's just lurking outside. There were many considerations when he decided to come.
"Why am I finding out?. This is completely useless to me. My worry won't change what's happened". Felix murmured, even though his words did not match his heart.
Not long after, Felix saw the scene in front of him. A middle-aged woman, came to Berli's house with her hands. The distance was not too far away, so Felix could hear what he was saying.
The woman knocked on Berli's door.
"Remember, open the door. It's me.."
Berli held his temple which was still dizzy to wake up. "Attep". He tried to open the door.
Arriving at the doorway, he smiled kindly. A neighbor came to see him.
"Mother? Please enter". Berli is friendly.
"No son, I came here just to drop this off". He gave Berli the crackle bag he had brought.
"You can't cook because you're sick, can you?. I saw you coming home not okay. Son, are you sick?. You can stay at my house if you want. At least you have friends". The neighbor's mother was very sympathetic to him.
Berli smiled. "Finally thank you, but I don't want to trouble anyone. You shouldn't even bother cooking for me, tomorrow I'll recover. I just need a break".
"Son, a mother's feelings are strong. You're not my son, but I have a son your age. Living alone is hard sometimes, right?. I know it". He stroked Berli's arm slowly.
Livided. "Thank you very much, you are very kind, may you always be happy"
The mother smiled, then said. "Son Berli, that man isn't your lover?. Why didn't you decide to get married?. You have to open a new page with someone, you'll be happier if you have a family. And at a time like this, you won't be alone anymore"
Deggg, Berli's heart rippled. She knew the man she meant was David. But his memory is only of Felix.
Berli tried not to get carried away. "That's.. Actually, this guy wasn't my girlfriend, he was just a friend. My boyfriend is busy, so he doesn't know that I'm sick. I always thought so, someday maybe I'll build a family with the right people. That way I won't be alone anymore. But right now it feels impossible. I still need some process to achieve all that ma'am, just pray yes.. "
"Don't say no, son, you're a good boy, of course you'll meet a good soul mate too. One day your life will be very happy. Your girlfriend is so lucky to know you"
Berli smiled, hoping the remark would actually happen.
"Thank you, thank you very much ma'am.. You're very kind".
"It's nothing. Ah yes, son, I have to go home. Finish your food. Rest enough. If you need help you can call me, I'll definitely help you as much as I can".
"Thank you so much, I say mom again"
"All right, see you later.. ". Mother was walking away.
Without thinking, Felix had heard the conversation. There was a little bit of a stir in his heart. It turns out Berli still so expect life with him.
