Episode 21
On a dark night Mingyue and Hua had just arrived at the residence.
"Hua please prepare some water for me to take a bath" Mingyue said.
"Well miss." Hua replied and left the bathhouse.
"Huffs.a pretty tiring day." lamented Mingyue.
'Tock..tok'
"Miss, are you inside?" asked a waiter outside the door.
Mingyue opened the door and asked.
"What's wrong?" asked Mingyue.
"Miss, you invited sir to dinner together.Please come with me." said the waiter.
'Why invite me to eat together? is this time alone calling me to accompany him to eat?' inner Mingyue.
"I'm sorry I refused, because I had eaten on the way home" said Mingyue who did not lie.
"But lady, sir has been waiting for you for a long time" said the waiter, begging Mingyue to meet the invitation.
"I told you I rejected it, just say so, I don't care how long I've waited!" said Mingyue.
'I don't want to see him if I have no business!' inner Mingyue.
"But miss.." said the maid trying to persuade Mingyue again but Mingyue went inside and immediately closed the door. Hua who had just finished preparing the water for Mingyue was astonished to see the look on her face that looked upset.
"What's the matter, miss?." asked Hua.
"There's nothing, it's just a small matter" Mingyue said.
"Who dares to make trouble with miss? I will take care of it!." said Hua who immediately wanted to leave but was detained by Mingyue.
"'Daddy' who makes trouble, what will you take care of it like?" asked Mingyue who made Hua speechless.
"Tu...sir?..really?.." asked Hua to confirm.
"Who else?, is the water ready?" asked Mingyue.
"O.oh.su.so miss, the water is already Hua prepared." said Hua.
"Don't prepare dinner, because we've eaten on the road before" Mingyue said.
"Well miss." replied Hua.
"Hais.luckily, miss told me.." said Hua relieved.
While the servant who called Mingyue earlier approached master Xinghu.
"Sorry sir, Miss Mingyue refused the invitation to dinner from the master" the maid said.
"Why did he reject it?" asked mister Xinghu.
"Miss says on the way home, miss has eaten on the street" said the waiter.
'My fault from the beginning who never cared about it, am I really unable to get an apology from my daughter?.' Inner master Xinghu.
"Here you go, the food is cold, just get all this done." said master Xinghu then left the dining room with a sad heart.
"Okay sir." said the servants around him.
When all was done the servants returned to their residences to rest, because their hours of work were done.
"Pity lord Xinghu, it seems he is eager to meet Miss Mingyue but it is a pity that she does not want to." said one of the servants.
"It's true but I also feel sorry for the lady, she was treated unfairly. Maybe it's appropriate to be like that." said the other waiter and answered correctly by his friends.
"Sshhttt.don't talk about it like that, if heard by others, there may be punishment." said one of the servants.
They listen to their friends because they are right. They no longer talk about it and rest because tomorrow morning is a busy day back.
Elsewhere Mingyue was soaking in a tub of warm water while thinking of something.
"What have I forgotten? why did the place I was visiting feel so familiar? what does this have to do with me?." said Mingyue who asked herself. Suddenly Mingyue's head hurt again but something was different. It was like seeing the shadow of a man dressed in black who was behind him in a war about to be killed by those who felt he might have seen.
The more Mingyue wanted to clarify the person's shadow, the more her head hurt. Just as the person was about to look back and Mingyue who was a little more looked at the face but came to a halt when she suddenly spewed out a mouthful of fresh blood from her mouth.
"Uhuk...uhuk.." cough Mingyue.
"What was that...."
