..."Perhaps, salted tea will be my favorite drink. Because by looking at your face the salty taste will turn sweet."...
..._Dillah Izzul Haq....
The time rolled so fast, the clock perched on the wall showed that the day had entered the twilight time, only a few minutes left azan maghrib would soon reverberate. As long as she became the wife of Gus Bima, not much was done by Aida. Just helping with homework, cooking for students and teaching together. Sometimes, inevitably Aida had to come where her husband would go for the halaqoh event. Doesn't matter, does it, considering that they've been tied to a common thread?
After doing homework, Aida sat on a soft sofa located in her room while reciting Allah's asthma. Although sometimes Aida does not care about her husband. However, behind it all there is one or two orders obeyed by him. One of them is dhikr with several sentences tasbih, tahmid, and tahlil. Thought is a remedy when our hearts feel sad and agitated. By zikr can teach us all what gratitude means and can draw closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
The knock of the door from the outside diverted Aida's netra. The girl fell silent, not answering even opening the door until the baritone's voice made Aida walk towards the door and open it.
"Mas Bima." She looks tired from her husband. But that smile did not disappear. It should be Aida who greeted Gus Bima from the boarding school with a warm smile. This time, however, the concept was reversed. A few seconds after the neutrals clashed, the girl grabbed Gus Bima's hand and kissed the back of her husband's palm.
"Eat already?" Aida shook her head.
"Why?" Hope to get the answer to the question posed. However, Aida only smiled while scratching her non-itchy nape.
"Mas Bima wants Aida to prepare water for a bath?"
Before replying, Gus Bima smiled widely and nodded quickly. "By, Aida. With pleasure."
The two couples walked parallel to the kitchen. At the end of the room, a few meters away from the kitchen Madam Hamida looked at Aida with a look of hatred. There was no more warm smile that the girl had for her childhood friend's wife. Even her friendly attitude towards Aida was now suddenly cold and indifferent. The proof, Madam Hamida did not greet Aida when they passed each other or face to face.
"Assalamualaikum, Hamida." Her net still could not escape staring at Aida. The innocent girl felt fear and ended up hiding behind her husband's burly body by bowing her head deeply. His palms are looking at each other. Yes Rabb, what has Aida done that makes Mbak Hamida look so angry?
"Have you eaten Hamida?" Hamida opened his eyes. At the same second, the girl suddenly smiled and nodded her head in response to Gus Bima's question.
"Okay, I'll excuse you first." With his body slightly bent, Gus Bima walked past Mbak Hamida and headed straight for the kitchen. Aida squeezed her husband's cocoa shirt until the hand reached for Gus Bima's arm.
Like understanding Aida's behavior that suddenly changed, Gus Bima stroked the back of Aida's hand. The girl stared at the blind blink of her husband, Aida saw her husband wink at the sign that nothing would happen. Everything's gonna be fine.
Aida let go of her hand. He continued his wish to prepare hot water so that Gus Bima could immediately clean his body. Right, surely her big husband can not stand the sweat attached to his body is not it?
"Do you want Aida to make tea?"
"Can." The man who was playing his game answered just like that. "Why do you always ask when you want to serve me? Do it, I will not refuse" he continued along with the black device was placed.
Aida walked over to her husband with a cup of warm tea. He sat not far from Gus Bima who sipped the tea. However, Aida was surprised by the expression on Gus Bima's face that changed when the tea managed to get into his throat. Is the drink too hot?
"Why, Mas?" There's no answer. Gus Bima rubbed his mouth with a slight smile. But that smile was different than usual.
"Not good, huh?" Gus Bima looked up and shook his head quickly. Ah no, Aida. I mean, that skirt might be good tea.
"Enak. Tea is e-nice." However, if it was delicious why did he answer it in a stammering tone?
Seeing this, Aida put on a bad prejudice. Her husband would not lie. It could have been bland tea or sweetness but Gus Bima covered it so that Aida was not disappointed. Given that the man was very kind to Aida. Perhaps, the word well is not enough to describe the kindness and patience of Gus Bima, her great husband. Uh, Astagfirullah Aida, get rid of any prejudice regarding your husband. Aren't we told to always be good to someone?
"Don't Aida, the tea's still hot. Your mouth will blister if you force yourself to drink it." Without blowing, Aida immediately drank her homemade tea slowly. Shouldn't all food and drink be blown away?
There is a hadith shahih that explains that we are prohibited from blowing food and drinks that are still hot. From Ibn Abbas radhiyallahu'anhu, he said:
“Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam forbid breathing in a glass or blowing the contents of a glass.” (CHR. Ahmad 1907, Turmudzi 1888, and Shahahihkan Shuaib Al-Arnauth.)
In addition to being an adab, blowing food or drinks is not recommended for the health of the body.
Divine, it was fitting that the look on her husband's face changed when he drank his tea. It doesn't taste sweet anymore. However, it has now changed beyond the salty taste of sea water.
"Sorry, Aida. Not that I don't want to be honest. However, I don't want to make my little wife sad." Right no, this husband always keeps his wife's feelings. Ma shaa Allah.
"Sorry, Mas Bima. Maybe I took it wrong. You see, when I took sugar, I was looking at Mas Bima." The longer the volume of the sound was decreasing, to the extent that Gus Bima did not hear it anymore.
The man chuckled. Ah, it could be. Gus Bima was always made to laugh when he was next to his little wife. Both because of his behavior, childish attitude, and innocence.
"Really, Aida? Am I that handsome to the point that you took sugar wrongly into salt?" No. gabe. Stop it, that's enough! Argh, that red hue will be back if this great husband keeps teasing her.
"No. The face is the same. Aida can't tell which sugar is, which is salt because all the containers are white." Gus Bima crossed his hands on the table like an elementary school boy listening to his teacher speak. The attention was focused on looking at Aida's face. And sure enough, the girl was again made wrong.
Whatisit? Is that really his face? Why turn red like a boiled tomato?
Aida covered her face with her palm. Being next to her husband made Aida want to leave immediately. Yeah, Aida didn't want to take too long that thump was ticking faster. Moreover, her husband's attitude is getting sweeter.
"Why are you covering your face with that palm of Aida's? Is my face so ugly that you won't look at me anymore?" Aida peeked out from her gaping fingers. Ah, the more peeped the more thump it becomes. Should he see a heart specialist first? Probably not, because all he needs is a love doctor not a heart specialist.
Aida turned her face for a moment, neutralizing her heartbeat. Try to make the red hue fade a little. After feeling quite improved, Aida returned to sitting as the original position. However, the girl lowered her head not daring to look at the Netra Gus Bima.
"Thank you for Aida's tea." Thank you, for what?
"The salty taste is nothing compared to the little attention you give me." Aida only heeded her husband's words with a slanted smile.
"Maybe, salted tea will be my favorite drink." The man boasted of his right hand and slightly tilted the position of his head. At the same minute, the man raised his eyebrows while smiling a sweet smile at Aida.
"Huh, why?" The girl looked confused. That word sounds ambiguous.
"The first reason is because the tea is made directly by the little wife, the second reason is because by looking at your face the salty taste will turn sweet, Aida." Feels hovering. It was like a butterfly was flying in his stomach. Stop, stop! Aida can faint if this continues.
Seriate....
