Ch. 119 — Destiny You Choose

“Old no see, Rigel.” Azartooth greeted Rigel with a gentle smile but instead, Rigel lunged forward with his kick.

Azartooth easily caught it, picked Rigel up and threw it easily.

“Do you hate me? We haven't seen each other in a long time and I thought you'd miss you.” His smile remained the same unchanged.

“Not after I understand all your plans. No matter what you say, everything that happens, everything I experience -!” Rigel was intent on venting all his anger but Azartooth cut out his sentence.

“Quiet first. I'll explain it in detail. What you know and what you do not know, everything will be missed.”

Rigel could no longer believe the words that came out of his mouth. If he can go to the past, Rigel wants to slap his old self foolishly receiving the helping hand.

“I did this for my personal purpose. You won't know why, as a short-lived creature it's impossible to feel what I've felt. Time keeps turning and moving, over and over, in solitude and eternity I seek an answer.”

Immortals, even if they were killed and their bodies destroyed, they would be reincarnated with the same memories. The life-death cycle prevailed even among the gods but even though they died they did not really die. They just fall asleep for a while.

Azartooth, who has outlived everyone, correctly understands that life is not a blessing for him, but a curse.

“Answers?” ask Rigel with stifled emotions.

“Ya, an answer. I who was born from nothing have witnessed the formation of a boundless universe. Starting from a super-large sphere that is intact, into an infinite expanse of galaxies. I admire him, adore him. Until the Gods are born, an entire life is born, a question comes to my mind ... Who are you who created it, who are you who created me?”

Azartooth came to a conclusion in which he believed that nothingness was not something that existed first, and he was not the first being. Azartooth believes that there is a person or a great creature that even creates a void.

Not only voidness, the huge sphere that formed the universe was also a creation of beings higher than him, invisible and unattainable.

“I've been crazy for a long time looking for answers. No matter what I do, a figure greater than me and created me never appears. At the end of the day, only one thing came out in my mind. When a big mess happens, maybe I'll get my answer.”

“So you started a war between the gods? That really doesn't make sense!” Rigel strongly condemned Azartooth's actions.

Involving many things just for his sheer selfishness, no one would believe that there was such a figure in this world.

“So that means, the son and wife you once called his name is just a toy?” rigel.

Azartooth just made the same face with the same smile, “That's how. You think I who was born of nothing will have perfection like a heart? Of course not, I use them for my benefit. Even so no matter how big of a mess I made it all meant nothing. Until one day I got sick of them and eliminated the Gods, making my son wander his soul. That's when my only wish was to vanish and this world I found.”

He reveals that Earthland can help him and make something like Ragnarok. With his ability it is not difficult to instill that Ragnarok will happen. Both humans, angels and demons are able to get involved with it easily. Rigel doesn't know exactly how Azartooth did it.

When discovering Earthland Azartooth creates a powerful weapon from his son's body and that's the time when the Hero is born.

“There were some things happening especially Aludra which was a big anomaly before. Who would have guessed? Weapons that man cannot destroy he can destroy.”

Hearing another strange fact Rigel was surprised instead of playing. Aludra could be said to be Rigel's father who was also dragged into this world. Rigel does not know how his life history in this world but from various points revealed he is a very strong troublemaker.

“Because of that I removed that figure from the world, all his records disappeared except from those who have remained alive until now. But thanks to him, I found the answer that there is indeed a figure that already existed first and created me. That's when you, the Hero who is without a weapon and has something I never had, Creator.”

From then on Azartooth becomes interested in Rigel who also has a part of Antares' soul in him. Fate is increasingly connected and when believing in a higher presence of the Gods, Azartooth has no desire other than to disappear, aka die.

Despite not having a heart, he had a strong will and selfishness. Until the end Rigel won't understand that.

“So do you want me to kill you? With the power you never gave and the Void power you gave? Then from the beginning there is no need to talk!” Rigel is ready to kill him at any time but Azartooth has yet to show his availability.

“If you kill me, I will only reincarnate. The Void power you received is not even half as there as I cannot hand it over until you prove to me that you are indeed his messenger.”

“Tusan?”

Azartooth began to craze, his body trembling violently and loudly recounting his delusions.

“You humans will not be able to accept the truth of an existence. Understood it? It will not be able to. I, a creature that lives longer than the universe, greatly admire the Creator. Through you a hero I never gave his powers to, he showed me his power. That, CREATOR!”

Creator is not a force that only creates tools and weapons or materials, but Creator is part of the force that creates the origin of existence, to the very beginning of emptiness.

“I'm satisfied, this void is filled and I want to disappear. It's the first time I feel like I have a heart, right now all I want is to go back to him.” Azartooth regained his composure and smiled peacefully as he spread out his hands, “Void is able to kill Gods, but Void is unable to kill Creator. The power I give will not hurt me, but will absorb me.”

When Azartooth's Void moves completely to Rigel, the reincarnation ability disappears, Azartooth will become an ordinary human.

“That means I give you the reward even though I've been tormented all this time? Haha, don't joke. Until the end of picking me up, I won't—”

“You will. After all, that power is mine.” Azartooth moved his finger and that was when Rigel moved closer without ever wanting it.

He was like a puppet moved by Azartooth. No matter how hard Rigel rebelled, his body didn't seem to belong to him.

That was when, the right hand that was shone by the Void rune pierced through Azartooth's chest and a great force flowed in. Rigel was resigned, something in his chest seemed to shrink and disappear.

“In the end since I received Void, I have been stuck into your plan.” Rigel no longer had anger in his heart, his face was now completely empty of leaping.

“More than that. Since you were born, you have fallen into my grasp .. It is time I die.” Azartooth accepted his death peacefully.

His body slowly cracked and shattered into dust, during the process of death, there were a few words he said.

“You will be immortal, as a human being who receives the power of Gods. Remember, you are not the strongest despite holding onto the void. There are so many worlds and Gods in the expanse of the universe. You may not be the only human who has the power of a God. During the last war there was a figure from another world coming with a power that was even slightly stronger than me, Salazar.”

Rigel didn't really care about that. He did not care but tetao remembered it. With that power in his hands, Rigel won't die, he can't kill himself.

Rigel will forever travel in the infinite universe and spend his time in solitude as well as grief.

Azartooth's figure completely vanished and found the end he wanted. Rigel fell silent, he wished he were crying but a thousand attempts ended in failure.

“What will happen next .. I love being a human rather than a God ..”

Maybe there's a way to take his place, Rigel will do whatever it takes.

When he fell into a sea of ignorance, the scene before him changed. The expanse of the galaxy appeared and moved away, as well as two giant hands made of nebulae he saw.

It was then that a bright light that even Azartooth had never seen came to Rigel, giving him a final task that was also an eternal curse.

You guys think maybe this ending is quite absurd, yes. I'll help you guys. Essentially everything that happened, the problem in this story was a long thread that was spread by Azartooth. Everything Rigel was facing was part of the thread he made.

Come to another world to be a Hero, go to the Hell's Labyrinth, Catastrophe and Ragnarok. Then there was another hero of the previous generation, Aludra, et al.

Then the gist of what Azartooth was looking for. He wanted to prove that emptiness is not the beginning and emptiness itself is something created. As before there was a number 2, there was always a number 1. Everything must be creating.

Get here first. There are still other chapters that I will upload because I have not shown some parts especially why the second sequel has the title The Last Hero.

Most likely tomorrow or the day after, even though I want to write it down today. But because of the chaotic hours of sleep made me go back to my former self, the inconsistent person.
