Overtime Together
Towards the final test of the thesis, Mira and Elkan were completely focused and worked hard to complete the script. As if, there is no day without wrestling with the thesis. Some of the printed paper is on their desk.
"Our learning table is too dirty, Brother. We clean first yuk. I'm going overtime today" said Mira.
"Ah, yes .. true. Yes, we clean up first. I'm gonna go overtime, too, Honey. Just print all the chapters and make an abstraction."
After that, the two of them both cleaned their study tables. Especially the remnants of paper that was no longer used, they sorted together, and then Mira swept all their units.
While Elkan also mopped the floor, did not forget to replace the room fragrance in the room with their favorite Blue Ocean both. Now with a cleaner room, overtime is better and more comfortable.
"I continue to do it, sister," said Mira.
"Yes, I hope it's not too late" replied Elkan.
In fact, these last few weeks both were always overtime. Specifically Elkan, but there were times when Mira accompanied her husband to overtime. Poor to see her husband who must be awake until the early hours alone. Therefore, Mira preferred to accompany Elkan.
While Elkan himself was very happy to be accompanied by Mira. He can occasionally chat, or joke briefly with his wife. At the same time struggling like this, so felt togetherness.
"Honey, what is this abstraction?" ask Elkan later.
"Abstraction is a brief explanation of the whole study, Sister. Abstract not only as a summary, but also can help the author to stay in accordance with his research plan."
Hearing Mira's explanation, Elkan nodded his head. It's true that being helped and explained by Mira tastes better. Can understand better and after that, he can work on his own.
"So, I'm concise from the background of the problem, the research method, until the results are well?" ask Elkan.
"Conclusion too. So, when others see the thesis we do not have to look at the whole sheet by sheet which is hundreds of pages. Just read one of these abstractions" replied Mira.
"Oh, so yeah .. okay-okay. I've got it. Thanks well, always explain more simply so I can understand it," replied Elkan.
The man stroked the side of Mira's face for a moment. Without excuse, Elkan approached and landed a kiss on Mira's cheek. Mira smiled and misbehaved.
"Thank you, Honey. If there is no one to explain all the impossible I can be here," said Elkan.
"Sama-sama, Brother. Don't kiss first, afraid of not focusing" Mira replied.
Honestly after overtime and being chased by the target, both of them ruled out making love first. Focus on solving everything. Gotta graduate soon, that's the point.
"Yes-iya .. I will not be naughty first anyway," replied Elkan.
Then Mira went back to the front of her laptop. He finished his own. Mira is done. He would just print everything and then hand it over to his Advisor. After that, Mira will register for the thesis exam.
"Honey, if it's been a sleepy first," said Elkan.
"Later on, sister .. I can't sleep if there's no you" replied Mira.
Then Elkan was chuckling amusedly because of it. "When I went back to Jakarta, you could bob yourself. A week of bobs by yourself."
"The forcing, brother. Now I can't," Mira replied with a shoulder.
Elkan chuckled slowly. Sometimes circumstances are forcing. But when we get back together, it feels like it will depend on each other again. That was also what Elkan was feeling right now. Like when working on this thesis, he was hanging with Mira.
"So, you're on the exam list first, Honey?" ask Elkan.
"Yes, deh. The day after I registered for the exam. Now I read through first let me know and master my own research" replied Mira.
"Your pop, Honey. I'm catching. Just so you can tell later what the exam will be like and what questions will be given. So I can guess first," replied Elkan.
A little behind his wife actually makes Elkan can guess the situation and circumstances. Later will be like what, the questions given, the atmosphere of the exam, and so on. For Elkan, sometimes lagging one step was more profitable.
"Surely," Mira replied by singing her lips.
"Yes, it's normal. Check the waves first, right? Let me sail," he replied.

"You're the first one. Lady first, the man follows next," replied Elkan again.
Until finally, right at midnight then Elkan finished his work. Hopefully there will be no more revisions later and he can also register for the thesis exam. Because, Elkan always wanted to accompany all the processes with Mira.
"Congratulations, Honey?" ask Elkan now.
"Lumayan, Brother," replied Mira.
Elkan smiled and now stood in front of Mira. "Time break for a moment yuk .. dizzy and need relaxation," said Elkan.
To be honest, it's just code. Already longed to do hot and fun activities with Mira. Apart from the pause long enough when they are really busy with the thesis. There is no harm in cooling down together and also winning yourself by equally plunging into the ocean of love.
