Passing One Semester
It doesn't feel like Mira and Elkan have already passed a semester at her High School. That means that just waiting a few more months for the National Examination will come closer. Now, the Agastya family as well as the Narawangsa family are gathering together. Mira who previously refused to be invited to gather together, in the end also agreed to be invited to gather at the residence of Mama Sara and Papa Belva.

"TOEIC and TOEFL, of course Mira."
TOEIC stands for Test of English for International Communication which is an English language test for international communication. While TOEFL is Test of English as a Foreign Language or translated is a test of English as a foreign language. For those who want to study abroad, will be asked the requirements of both of these tests and each test has its own minimum value.
"Sama means Pa ... later Mira will also take a three-month English course to earn the TOEIC and TOEFL certificates," Mira replied.
"Good Mira ... Papa knows you're a smart student. So, pursue your ideals. Papa is supporting you" said Papa Belva.
Seeing Mira chat with Papa Belva, there Mama Sara, Papa Abraham, and Mama Sara smiled. Especially Mama Sara who immediately whispered to Mama Marsha there.

Yes, it's actually been almost a semester, Elkan suspects that Bagas looks so fancied on Mira. From the young man's gesture and also his attitude that is too good to Mira, makes Elkan sure that Bagas looks like a crush on Mira.
"We're just friends, since 10th grade," she replied.
"Friend but comfortable?" Elkan asked and seemed to chase after Mira with the question.
"Not so, it's normal, too" replied Mira.
"Comfortable right? Hmm, I can already see it, Ra," replied Elkan.
After saying that, Elkan and Mira chose silence. There are indeed times when a pause like this makes both of them feel as if their communication is not going smoothly. Also, wanting to raise other topics of conversation is difficult.

People who are nice and sweet in front sometimes have their own intentions and motivations, which is what Elkan tries to convey to Mira now.
