Chapter 23 - When to Get Pregnant? -

Since the request of Binar that night, Albiru chose to avoid in order to reduce his disappointment. While Binar chose to avoid so as not to get more hurt. The rift between the two is of course aware of the Albiru family, especially Lady Siti.

But Ibu Siti could not do much because Albiru chose silence while Binar did not even want to talk to her. Ibu Siti knew the cause of Binar's cold attitude because the other neighbors had told her everything.

“You have any problem what exactly?” ask Latif's father who can't stand the cold war of his son and daughter-in-law.

Bianr chose silence not knowing what to answer, whereas Albiru just shook his head. Both are reluctant to be honest.

“If anything is settled well, you guys are married not a courtship that if again marahan can break up just like that.” Latif's father spoke again while Ms. Siti chose to be silent and not know anything.

“Iya Well,” answer both at the same time.

Ella who was there listening, was happy with the quarrel of the couple. He will immediately tell Intan so that his best friend can take this step.

“Gue knows what lies in your cunning head,” whispered Fadli who saw Ella's sneaky smile.

Hearing that whisper made Ella remove her smile. “What the hell is Fadli?”

“Gue will monitor you and your friends, so do not mess.” Threaten Fadli who sounds no kidding.

Ella just kept silent not interested in answering Fadli because for him the threat of Fadli did not apply. This time Ella would play beautiful so Albiru would not be suspicious of her intentions.

Weekend like this is usually the most awaited day Binar because time with Albiru more, but the cold war both have not subsided. Binar is reluctant to apologize for not feeling guilty while Albiru still harbors his disappointment.

Binar had just returned from his morning walk alone when he saw a group of mothers who used to rub himself were gathered in the vegetable seller's cart and the more unfortunate vegetable cart was right in front the fence of his house-in-law. Binar knew the habit, shopping vegetables while rubbing neighbors.

Not wanting to make small talk or even just say hello, Binar passed the group without looking at it one bit. But they certainly will not let go of Binar just like that.

“Wah mbak Binar cocky through not negur-negur.” The words of Bu Ani suddenly made Binar unwillingly stop his footsteps.

Binar just smiled politely not intending to be friendly. All this time he was friendly but like there was no price.

“Sehat mbak Binar?” asked Bu Wiwi to make small talk.

“Alhamdulillah healthy Ma'am,” replied Binar sober. Binar was about to open the fence of the house when a curse was heard making him silent for a moment.

“Have filled yet mbak?” tanya Bu Indah relaxed as if the question she was asking was common.

Binar turned his head, looking at Bu Indah with a questionable gaze. He knew the meaning of the question but he just wanted to confirm it.

“Have not been pregnant yet?” this time, Rini asked. Other mothers stare at the flat-looking belly of Binar.

“Loh not yet, it's been a long time right marriage?” the celtukan of Bu Ani made Binar sigh slowly.

For married women, of course, questions like this are very sensitive. Especially if you have struggled but have not been given a deposit. It feels so painful.

“New six months kok Bu,” replied Binar still trying to look relaxed.

“Lah lama it mbak, tuh his son mbak Indah new three months marriage already pregnant.” Bu Wiwi said casually while proudly pointing at Bu Indah who was smiling happily.

“Alhamdulillah means already rejekannya son Bu Indah.” Baron answered back casually.

“Employ dong mbak, do not just surrender. Aren't You Mothers?” Said Bu Ani asking for the approval of other Mothers who compactly exclaimed in agreement with his words.

“Mbak Binar is busy working, maybe too often tired.” Said Bu Indah relaxing no guilt as a fellow woman.

Can't stand the words Binar immediately changed the look of his face. There is no longer a polite smile and relaxed attitude because according to Binar this has crossed the line.

“Those mothers know what my struggle is like? I don't think you all need to know enough about me and my husband. We as fellow women should support each other instead of dropping mentally.” Binar spoke in a flat tone made the other Mothers speechless did not dare to answer.

Binar turned around intending to enter the house but the woman was silent for a moment when she saw Albiru standing at the door of the house. From the look on her husband's face she was sure the man had heard all the unwearing sayings from the Mothers.

“And another Mother, I am pregnant or not yet I don't think it's any of your business. It's a matter of my household, not public consumption. As an older person than I should be Mothers all know what privacy means?” Said Binar trying to keep from crying. The woman did not even look at the other mothers but looked at her husband.

Binar walked into the house, the woman tried desperately to keep her tears from spilling. When he reached beside Albiru who was now staring at him, Binar stopped his footsteps for a moment.

“You know now how hurt I am with this toxic environment?” Binar whispered without looking at her husband. Then the woman continued her footsteps without turning her head, because she was hiding her tears.

Binar is hurt, hurt but has no place to lean. Not enough problems with his mother-in-law, now he must be reminded again about the anxiety that he had been alone.

Binar also wants to get pregnant and have children, but what if God does not want to. He can only pray and keep trying, but people out there say at will without knowing what struggle he has been through all this time.
