57. Disarray

Sadiyah's mind was upset and she needed someone to hold her. There was no way he could contact his in-laws or his sister-in-law. He has no close friends in town. He remembered his aunt. He immediately called his aunt.

“Assalamu’alaikum, Bi” Sadiyah's voice sounded still hoarse due to crying too much.

“Wa’alaikumsalam, Neng. Why is Neng's voice? You sick?” ask Bi Ita worried.

“Bi Ita, can't Aunt send Mak Isah here? Signed with Mang Aep only. Use a large car.” pinta Sadiyah.

“There's what Neng. Why did Neng ask Mak Isah to come?”

“The story is long, Bi. Later Iyah tell me. Soon, Mak Isah came here. If you can tomorrow or the day after it is here.” pinta Sadiyah.

Rostita knew there was a big problem faced by her beloved niece, but she did not want to force Sadiyah to tell a story. He would wait for Sadiyah to tell him herself if she was ready to tell him everything.

“Ya already, later tomorrow or the day after, Aunty send Mak Isah and Mang Aep to your place.”

Natasha can't lose Kagendra. He felt it was better to die if he could not be with Kagendra.

Since childhood, Natasha felt neglected by her parents who were always busy taking care of their own business. No one truly loves him. It was only when he met and dated Kagendra that he felt loved.

If he loses Kagendra now, he will lose his entire life.

Natasha found a fragment from a used bottle of liquor that she broke. He took the broken glass and sliced it right into the veins of his arm.

Everything happens quickly. Blood gushed from the veins he sliced. Everything went dark and Natasha was unconscious.

“Mbak Tasha's. What is Astaghfirulloh doing? Build Mbak!” Sarah, Natasha's assistant found her lying on the floor unconscious with blood flowing from her wrists soiling the white carpet below.

With a quick glance, Sarah called an ambulance.

Luckily Natasha's life can still be helped. Now Natasha is in the emergency room getting treatment from a doctor.

Not knowing who to contact, Sarah remembers the lover Natasha introduced all along. Quickly, Sarah looks for Kagendra's contact number.

“Hallo, Mas Kagendra. I'm Sarah, her assistant Ms. Natasha.” desperate Sarah contact Kagendra.

“What's up?”

“Please me, Mas. Natasha tried to kill herself. Natasha is now being treated by a doctor at the hospital. Can you come here? I beg you, Mas.”

“Why did you get to that?” ask Kagendra.

“I don't know either, Mas. When I went to the apartment unit of Ms. Tasha, I saw that Ms. Tasha was unconscious. He sliced the vein on his wrist with a broken bottle. Kagendra arrived at the hospital when Natasha was transferred to the treatment room. He saw a woman sitting in front of Natasha's VIP treatment room.

“You have a name Sarah?” ask Kagendra when he was near Natasha's assistant.

“Iya, Mas. I'm Sarah.”

“How is Tasha doing now?”

“Mbak Tasha hasn't kissed yet. But the doctor said that Ms. Tasha has passed the critical period.”

“Good then. Thank you for accompanying Tasha.”

“It's my obligation as his assistant. But I can't alone to decide the next action to take.”

“I'll take care of it. Now you can go home and rest. Maybe there are still many Tasha jobs that you have to clean up.” said Kagendra.

“Iya, Mas. Lately, Ms. Tasha is less focused on her work so there are many things that I have to handle. Thanks to Mas Kagendra for accompanying Ms. Tasha. I'll go home first. Tomorrow I will come again here after all my business is done.” said Sarah.

Kagendra goes into Natasha's treatment room and sees Natasha's left wrist bandaged by a bandage. There was a color of blood seeping from that gauze.

“You why Tasha?” Kagendra strokes Natasha's head.

That night, Kagendra accompanied Natasha until the morning. He did not have time to give news to Sadiyah because his phone was left in his office room.
