66. Anger Kagendra

When he arrived in front of his house, Kagendra saw his house was already bright with a light lamp. The clock points to the number 12, a very late time.

Kagendra opened the door of his house with a spare key that he brought.

Immediately after closing the door and locking it, Kagendra went straight to the second floor to see Sadiyah immediately. He believed Sadiyah was asleep because some of the lights in the house were not on.

After arriving at the door of the room, Kagendra opened the door slowly because he did not want to wake Sadiyah who was already asleep.

Batapa surprised Kagendra when he did not find Sadiyah in their room. Their room was now pitch black without any lighting, relying only on the light from the outside.

Then Kagendra opened the bathroom door that was in their room. As he had expected, Sadiyah was not in the bathroom either.

With a remarkable confusion, Kagendra immediately called Alena to ask the whereabouts of Sadiyah. He did not contact Abah or his mother because he did not want to disturb them and create a furore.

Alena picked up the phone after Kagendra made several calls.

“What's A. These nights calling Lena?”

“Daddy is at home no?” ask Kagendra without saying stale.

“Teteh is in your house. Aa why nanyain his own wife to Lena?”

“Daddy is not at home.”

“What?” alena shouted, her eyes instantly opened and she woke up from her sleep.

“Daddy is not here.” reset Kagendra.

“Teh Iyah is where?”

“Makanya Aa your phone, maybe Iyah stay there.”

“Teteh is not here. But it did come here a few days ago.”

“What day?” ask Kagendra quickly.

“If not wrong three days ago. Tea Iyah bring food for our lunch.” replied Alena while remembering back when Sadiyah came to visit.

“He said what?”

“Lena did not meet Teh Iyah but knew that Teh Iyah came because she was told. Tomorrow morning Lena ask Mother.”

“Thank you, Len. Sorry yes Aa phone night-night.”

“Nothing, A. Lena also thought the same Tea Iyah.” now Alena is really awake and worried about Sadiyah.

Alena could only fall asleep again after a while, while Kagendra could not close his eyes for a moment because he kept thinking about Sadiyah's whereabouts but could not contact her parents or Sadiyah's family because it was still early morning.

Kagendra can only sleep after dawn and then not for long. He woke up at 7am and immediately contacted Faiq, his men who were assigned to supervise Sadiyah.

“Again, Boss.”

“I wait at home.” Kagendra command.

Half an hour later, Faiq was already at Kagendra's house.

“What's up, Boss?”

“Who are you partnering with on my wife's surveillance mission?”

“With Badru, Bos.”

“Report with incident details 3-4 days ago. Where and with whom does my wife go?”

“Since the Boss went abroad and assigned me to supervise the Boss wife, the Boss wife never came out at all.”

Kagendra threw the thick book on the desk towards the table in the corner of the room and made the vase above it slammed and broke scattered.

“Sorry Boss. But based on my and Badru's observations, the Boss' wife never once left the house.

“Beransk you two. Your work is not very good. In fact my wife is not home and it is off your watch.”

“Sorry, Boss. I will ask Badru, maybe she left her post without my knowledge.”

“Quick call Badru.”

“Ready, Boss.”

Faiq hastily called Badru who was in charge of overseeing Kagendra's house.

10 Minutes later, Badru came in a hurry.

“What's up, Bang?” badru asked a little surprised because he was not usually called when he was on duty.

“Distress.”

Badru entered Kagendra's room with a cautious heart preparing to receive Kagendra's anger.

Shortly after Badru entered Kagendra's office, the boss immediately threw a punch towards Badru's face and stomach. After finishing with Badru, Kagendra called Faiq to enter his room. Faiq also fared with Badru who was battered by a blow from Kagendra.

“You should get more of this. I just don't want to spend money on hospital expenses. Your work this time is very bad, it is fortunate that I did not immediately fire you because I considered your good work before.”

Faiq and Badru lowered their heads not daring to look at Kagendra.

“Sorry, Boss. It's our negligence.” Faiq as the leader of this mission is very sorry with the poor performance of their team.

Kagendra was increasingly upset that the cctv in his house did not work because it seemed Sadiyah knew which point the cctv was installed because Sadiyah turned off all the cctv in their house.

Kagendra still had hope that Sadiyah might be visiting her Aunt and Uncle's house without telling her. But after seeing the way Sadiyah left the house in a planned way, Kagendra lost hope. Now he was sure that Sadiyah had indeed gone from him. All he had to do now was find out why Sadiyah left.

“Aaaaargh Kagendra got up from the chair and hit the wall with his hands to vent emotions.

Faiq and Badru who saw their boss's self-harming actions immediately pulled Kagendra's hand to stop beating the walls of the library room that had been stained with red from the blood coming out of Kagendra's hand.

“Bos, stop Boss. Don't be like this.” Faiq pulls Kagendra's right hand and Badru pulls his left.

“If the Boss wants to vent the Boss' emotions, just vent on me.” Badru has put up his body to be used as a boxing samsak by Kagendra.

Although Kagendra was hard on all his men, Badru never once hated Kagendra. For him, Kagendra was a guardian angel to him and his family. When his brother almost died because he had no cost for surgery, Kagendra who at that time did not know Badru at all, financed all the costs of surgery and care of his sister without asking for anything in return. To repay Kagendra's kindness, Badru volunteered to serve him.

Badru used to work as an OB in Kagendra's advertising company, but his boss saw the potential possessed by Badru, thus attracting him as an espionage agent and bodyguard in other Kagendra companies.

“I don't want you guys to be a life samsak for me, but I want you guys to be my sparing partner.” Kagendra orders.

“Ready, Boss.” replied Faiq and Badru simultaneously.

Alternately, Faiq and Badru become Kagendra's sparing partners. After about half an hour they stood by each other. Kagendra threw his tired body on the sofa.

“Enough for today. Prepare yourself to make amends for the mistakes you have made. Now, get the hell out of here. I'll call you later.”

“Good, Boss. Thank you.” Faiq and Badru passed from before Kagendra and were relieved that his boss did not punish them with a severe punishment let alone to dismiss them.

Not long after, Kagendra's phone rang. Alena's name appears on Kagendra's phone screen.

“What's up, Len? Any word from Sadiyah?” ask Kagendra weakly.

“There is Bi Ita and Mang Awan here. Fast Aa here.”
