Chapter 1: Splitting with the System

[Test results show Cultivators are now perfect, the System has no other teachings to offer, so the System is stripped away. Goodbye.]

The mechanical sound left him dumbfounded, he staggered, “Damn it! No, don't disarm, just yet!”

Li Nianfan shouted into the air, “I'm not perfect at all! Can you teach me a few more tricks? Or at least teach me how to attain the divinity? The system? The system!"

There was no response.

“Are you really going? At least take me back to where I came from? Huh hello? Why did you bring Me here from the beginning, if you want to leave Me alone now? The system!"

Li Nianfan begged desperately, still, no answer was made.

"Basic! Stupid System!” He swore at the System, angry and helpless.

Five years ago, Li Nianfan was transmigrated here, tied to a system that had a funny-sounding name—'S Sacred System'. At first, Li Nianfan believed that he was on his way to Eternal Cultivation, however, all this System offered were useless things like language, mathematics, chemistry, physics, poetry writing, and so on, and drawing.

Li Nianfan had no choice but to learn everything. He survives and survives, mastering all the teachings the System offers. In return, he was awarded several cool titles including Saint Poem, Saint Art, Saint Chess, Saint Agriculture, etc.

And System stripped—

Well, this skill might come in handy if he were to return to the mortal realm, but now that he is in the foreign realm — which is most likely the eternal realm — this skill does not seem to be very helpful at all!

Sometimes, there were cultivators flying through the sky, there were also rumors of flesh-eating monsters in this realm. How did this skill help him survive in a world like this? Unless he's negotiating with a monster.

Out of fear, he chose a relatively hidden mountain to live an independent lifestyle. Although he was constantly afraid of being dragged into the fight of the immortals, he still held on to his beliefs, hoping that one day the System would guide him to cultivate immortality, she said, and finally flew into the sky freely as an eternity.

Little did he know, System did not teach him all this, but instead taught him unnecessary skills, then disappeared in a puff of smoke!

What a useless system!

To be honest, he actually did not want to rely on this system. Back when he first moved into this realm, he sought out the immortals, hoping to learn from them directly. Despite this, he was considered to have no spiritual roots, intended to remain as a mortal for the rest of his life.

"Sir, it's lunchtime." A robot walked out of the room and made an inviting gesture to Li Nianfan.

"Oh," he replied without interest.

Li Nianfan was not wanting to have lunch, but still went to the room. This robot was bestowed upon him by the System when he mastered physics. At first, he thought this was pretty cool, having a robot as his servant. As time went on, he realized that the robot was as useful as trash in this immortal cultivation realm.

Li Nianfan lives in a traditional four-part architecture, consisting of pavilions connected by a small bridge over a flowing river. With the view of the mountains, it was comparable to heaven. This architecture, like a robot, was bestowed upon him when he mastered architecture.

Indeed, most of his daily equipment was his reward after he had completed the tasks and missions given by the System. Moreover, he even earned the title of Saint farming, which allowed him to provide his own daily food. Therefore, he was independent even if he lived in isolation, away from the outside world.

'The one thing I'm lacking right now is a girlfriend. I guess all immortal women must be beautiful, though they might not want to be with a human like Me.’ He shook his head as he returned to the reality of his miserable reverie.

"Blackie, it's lunch time!" He shouted towards his backyard.

A dark-colored dog ran out of the courtyard, with its tongue sticking out. He looked at Li Nianfan expectantly waiting for lunch to be served.

"You are a food lover." Li Nianfan grinned while feeding the dog.

Blackie was just a little puppy, almost starving to death when Li Nianfan saw him. He decided to adopt Blackie and they had been accompanying each other for many years. Li Nianfan liked her even more for being kind and obedient. As Li practiced writing and drawing, Blackie would sit and observe quietly by his side, especially when he practiced the piano that Blackie enjoyed so much. Indeed, even a dog from the immortal realm was different!

At the same time, two women walked off the heel of the mountain.

One of them was wearing a white dress, pouting with her beautiful petite face. The beautiful young lady looked unhappy but in an adorable way.

As he walked furiously, he muttered bitterly, “Foolish Emperor Father! Bad Emperor Father! How dare he even consider marrying me to that loathsome bastard! I won't forgive him!"

Behind her, a young maid in a green dress followed hurriedly. “Princess, please don't say that! If anyone hears us, we might already be dead.” The servant trembled as he spoke, his face turning white in fear.

“I'm getting married to Duan Muli, what else can I fear?” the Princess grumbled, "If she insists, I'd rather die."

Panicked, his servant knelt down, begging for fear, “Princess, please don't do that! Please don't scare me. ”

"Suckers! I'm just saying, I don't want to die, ” muttered the woman in white, with a mischievous glint in her eyes. “Actually, I can find a place to hide from Father Emperor, if he keeps insisting! This forest doesn't seem too bad, let's start looking soon!”

“Pfft, you scared me half to death! Please, don't say such a thing again.” The young maid patted her chest as she stood up from the ground. He caught their surroundings and shrank his neck in fear. “No one is around this remote forest, there may be some lurking beats. It's too dangerous, I think we better go home!”

"Duh, my Qi is almost condensed, and I will be able to break through to the next stage anytime now, why am I afraid of ferocious beasts?" With that said, the Princess ran up the mountain excitedly.

"Daughter, wait!"

One ran, and the other chased, not long after an antique-looking architecture began to be seen. It was covered in bushes, sitting quietly under the white clouds floating in the sky.

The young maid stared with her eyes wide open. "Is there someone who lives in the woods?"

“This is a very unique architecture—almost antique as if the painting place came to life!” The Princess curiously looked at the four-part architecture in wonder.

His architectural style stands out from all the others he has ever met. Although not as grand as the palace he lived in, this architecture exuded an incredible sense, blending into the landscape seamlessly. Thats stunning.

'I may be wrong but this architecture is not inferior to the palace, could it be that a hidden expert lives here?' The princess thought in her heart. With a glint in his eyes, he ran happily. “Come, let's check this out! Remember, don't call me Princess, just call me Miss.”

The young servant was worried, shouting from behind, "Daughter, be careful!"

The Princess arrived at the front yard, looking around curiously. There is a small vegetable garden, rattan chairs, and a stone table with four regular benches
