Chapter 11: The Monster

After a full struggle I managed to escape from the big spider mother, I decided to go deeper into the labyrinth floor and explore it to become stronger so that I could defeat my enemies and so that I would not be oppressed again in this cruel labyrinth.

I don't know how long I've walked and been responsible against every monster I've met, I've always been hurt and in pain, but the pain in a fight is common if I am not prepared for the pain maybe I will not choose to fight and become stronger.

As usual I always use my long-distance vision to scout for edible prey even though I always eat what I see without any obstruction hehehe picky food is not good.

Long enough to keep an eye on the state of my prey I finally saw something moving inside the hot, burning lava, although I'm not sure there are any living things that can survive in such a hot place let alone in such a hot magma stream.

Without delaying any longer I immediately went towards that place which was only about 2 kilometers away from where I was standing right now, but the closer I get, the hotter the air around me and it's quite excruciating.

"Ahh...heat, it is hard to believe that anyone can survive in a place like this, even the meat brought here will instantly become roast meat without having to bother to light the coals." I said while wiping my sweat.

After quite a long time struggling walking between the heat of the lava and with the sweat pouring out even though I wasn't sure there was a dragon that could sweat, I finally arrived at the hot lava river even though my condition was increasingly like a steamed crab.

The walls and ceiling of the labyrinth look very red because there is a reflection of the color of the flowing lava, even if not for using cooling magic I am not sure I can survive in this place, every time I walked there was always smoke coming out under my feet and it was quite unsettling.

As I stared and watched the lava in front of me suddenly there was a monster leaping out from within the lava, without wasting any chance I immediately attempted to grab it with my hand, but when I wanted to reach the monster my hand accidentally splashed and touched the hot lava flow that was burning suddenly it made me scream hot while wagging my hand trying to relieve the pain.

"Hm... How is it? that monster was always inside this lava flow. huhh!" I said think of a way to catch that monster.

"Hmm. I'd better observe his movements first, after that I'll think of a way to catch him." My next.

As I observed the lava flow suddenly the monster jumped up and attacked me fortunately my reflex was good enough for a surprise attack I immediately retreated to avoid it, but unfortunately because of the bad footing I slipped and fell quite rough and it was quite painful.

"Dude!!! watch out for you fucking monster!" I said with anger.

I went back to observing the monster once again, to ascertain how long it could last in the lava flow, as as strong as anyone diving would definitely come to the surface.

The monster reappeared and tried to attack me once more, but nimbly I avoided it, I would never fall into the same hole a second time.

"I finally found out your secret, you fucking monster." I said with certainty.

It seemed like the monster could survive inside the lava for about 40 minutes and after 40 minutes had passed it would come out of the lava flow to breathe before finally returning to dive into the hot lava again, as clever as a diving fish will definitely come to the surface and at that time I will make it as my meal hehehe.

"I just need to be patient and count, after that, hehehehe be prepared..." I said with a horrible laugh.

I then split the lava that had become ice to take the monster inside, defeating this monster was very easy, but why didn't I do it in the first place? maybe because my head feels almost broken due to the excessive heat in this place, it is very difficult to think if in this condition, it is, but now it's just the past because I've changed the temperature in this place and the rest just eat the food hehe.

"So this is it up close! look like a channa fish? wasn't! alligator fish? hum, but do fish have legs?"

"Good meal." Continue while eating the fish monster.

"Emm.. good.." I said.

"Um..if it's not wrong there should have been a lot of monsters like this here" I said as I stared into the frozen lava river.

"Woohhh...! it turns out that there are so many monsters in this ice, yahh.. in this way I don't need to look for food again for the next few days even this is enough to stock for one month hehehe." I said with pleasure.

Without lingering for a long time I directly ate the channa fish monster greedily and left only the bones alone, it was hehe vengeance.

I then remembered the rest of the monsters that were in the lava as well, considering that I had not only seen this one monster alone, there were many other monsters that also froze in my ice.

After being round enough with my decision I then arranged every part of this area, like melting ice to make a drinking pool, and gathered every monster that had frozen in one block of ice in the same.

I also made a big pool to soak in considering my body is big enough and again I can't possibly drink in my bath water is disgusting.
