Chapter 13: The Dragon's Nest

My name is Roha or rather Roha Die Amonia I am the only daughter of King Erfrid and also Queen Clayria.

My mother was a native descendant of an earlier king while my father was a nobleman from the city of wert (the eastern part of the kingdom of Ammonia).

The two of them met at a ball held at the royal palace, from where I knew it was of course from my father and grandfather, hehe.

Father once said that I inherited my mother's beauty, a radiant white face and shining blonde hair and gentle eyes.

My mother died shortly after giving birth to me, since then my father has ruled this kingdom.

Today I am 14 years old and I am in training to gain experience and knowledge in self-defense and survival.

And the place I chose was the elo (el') labyrinth, I also went there to investigate about the monsters that suddenly appeared on the surface that had caused riots in the surrounding villages.

With 12 bodyguards escorted one of them is Goro, he is a personal bodyguard who is directly under the orders of my father.

My father said that his family has served my family for generations.

then we set out into the labyrinth, but when we reached the ninth floor suddenly an unexpected event happened to us.

We were attacked by a huge snake monster that made me fall into a deep abyss together with Goro who was trying to protect me.

"Eh...! I'm still alive!?" Said astonishment.

Though I fell really high really very high, but somehow I am still alive, not that I am not grateful for being alive but this is quite surprising.

"Goro!? The goro! are you here!?" I called out to Goro.

"I'm here, princess." Legally.

"Are you okay?" ask her.

"I'm fine, princess." The law again.

"Thank God then." I said with relief.

"Goro, where are we?" I asked Goro.

"I don't know, I don't know either, but judging from where we fell earlier this must be very deep, maybe we're on the 14th or 15th floor." He said confidently and seriously.

We both woke up in a dark and cold place there was almost no lighting here, I could not even see anything and just sat quietly while listening to the direction of Goro's voice.

"So yes, owhh, right too! Rumi can you hear me?" I said while clapping my hands.

I then summoned the wind spirit that had contracted with me, his body was only less than a inch tall and always seemed to glow when it was dark, hehe perhaps he could be made into a lighting lamp.

"Rumi, do you hear me? hey Rumi!?" I said while holding a small crystal stone in my hand.

"Yes-yes I'm out!" he said with his small voice.

"Eh... Why is it dark? hey Roha why is it so dark in here?" askinya.

"Dark? it's not dark, hehe." Said answer.

"Well...! what do you mean.... ehhh!! what the fuck are you! did you just call me to be the spotlight!" he said a little upset.

"Hehehe."

"You can use fire magic for lighting, hmph! you're not fair when I'm sleeping good in my bed." Say it with a frown.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I said apologetically.

"Yes, I don't need to think about it, after all you've done this a lot." The reply.

"Where are we really? why is it so dark in here?" continues asking.

"I want to know that too?" sahutku.

"Hmm. yep, for now you wake up your friends first." He said while pointing behind me.

"Friends? we're just the two of you." I said confusedly.

"Two!? who are they then?" said Rumi.

I didn't realize that there was someone else behind me, but I was pretty sure that there was only me and Goro here, how could it be?

"Eh...! why are they here too?" I still say with confusion.

"Hey Goro, aren't we the only ones who fell?" I asked Goro.

"I think so too, they shouldn't have fallen and are still fighting the monsters that are attacking us." Goro.

"Hey, wake up. Are you all right." I asked while shaking their bodies.

Slowly they began to wake up and stand up even though some were still sitting.

"We're fine princess." said one of them.

"What actually happened above? why did you fall too?" ask again.

"Open? you don't even have a scratch on your skin." Rumi said as she looked at them.

"Truly as well, but we're very confident about that, how is that possible!?" said the guard before.

"Actually I was also astonished by that, me and Goro also fell down from up there but we had injuries at all, this is a bit confusing!" I said with wonder.

"True princess, I also find this so hard to believe, it should be possible that we are already dead!" Goro said confusedly.

It's so hard to believe, we don't even have any injuries, how can we? we fell to the bottom of the abyss..but why are we still alive?

"Well, no need to think about it, isn't it good that you're still safe, especially you princess!" said Rumi.

"That's true, but this makes me confused." I said while pondering.

"Hey Rumi do you know the way out of this place?" ask her.

"Hmmm. I don't know, I've never been to this place, but I'm gonna try to find a way out." Answer Rumi.

"I'm going to light a bonfire, this place is so cold." Goro.

Slowly Goro started taking out some firewood from his Dimension Home and then lit a fire using fire magic.

"It's over, please warm yourself princess." Say it politely.

"Thank you Goro." My speech.

I then approached the campfire and rubbed my hands to make it warmer.

"All right then, let me get started!" said Rumi.

He was preparing to make an appearance against this place to look for a way out, he used wind detection magic to see the surroundings.

"Ha.. arghhhhh!!!!"

Suddenly Rumi screamed loudly and was very frightened, it made us all startled and wondered why she was so scared.

"What's Rumi!? oye! oye! Rumi!! what's going on!?" I said in panic.

"Go.. We have to get out of here! dangerous here! it's not safe here!" He said with great fear.

"What's Rumi!?" ask me one more time.

"It's awful!! we're in danger!" saith.

"Princess stay away!!!" goro said with great caution.

Goro suddenly used his full defensive horses and asked me to stay away from hiding, as well as the other four bodyguards.

They actually looked extremely tense and seriously obvious from the cold sweat coming out of their faces, coupled with the trembling body, what happened? what's the matter? they scared me.

Slowly I looked behind me and sure enough I saw a pair of very large eyes staring at us with a terrible look.

My body immediately felt limp when I saw that pair of eyes, suddenly Goro and the others took a position in front of me to protect me.

Slowly this place became bright and more surprisingly we were standing on the back of the monster more precisely a Dragon monster.

This Dragon Monster is so big that we didn't even realize we were standing on it.

"Imust be!!" said one of the guards who dropped his sword.

They looked so scared that even Rumi was hiding behind my hair, the monster was so horrible, he stared at us for quite a while before finally lowering his head as if he didn't care about us.

Seeing that opportunity we immediately got down from his body and ran, but unfortunately there was no exit from this place, there was only one that was from the hole where we fell, but unfortunately there was no exit from this place, but it was so high we couldn't reach it.

"How is this!?" I said scared

Srkk!!!

Srkk!!!

The monster began to move and stand, so big he was so big, maybe even he could swallow our bodies whole at once.

He was a nightmare.
