I Was Reincarnated As A Dragon
Chapter 158: Tranquility.

Quietly astonished to see the attitude of the adventurers who left with great fear I could no longer chase them because the horse carriage they were riding on was speeding away leaving the dust of the road in front of me, I also could not rashly wander around in a place that I had never visited moreover I had a bad feeling if I followed them and therefore I could not return their belongings.

"Hm. I doubt they will return, hahh."

Waiting for a while while looking at the state of this road, I became very sure those people would never cross this path again and with a slight sigh I then decided to go back to the place where I picked up their things because I don't want to bring anything that isn't mine into my house.

"Well, I'd better get back to Sira's place, she might have woken up" I said as I jumped in flight.

It didn't take long for me to get to where I was before because I flew quite quickly, upon arrival at the campfire where I picked up the adventurers' belongings, I then immediately put everything close to the embers that still felt hot.

Staring into the clear sky with the sun moving almost to a vertical corner above my head, I then flew back to the lake where Sira had fallen asleep because I had left her long enough. So, Sira must have woken up from her sleep.

"Gee! I thought I couldn't be friends with the hot sun, maybe it would be better if I just walk anyway soon I arrive" I said as I swooped down to land.

I really like the beautiful scenery while flying in the air even the gentle breeze also feels very pleasant, he said, but I was quite troubled by the blazing sun that burned my skin especially with no clouds covering it the sun became hotter and this situation really felt annoying.

Therefore, I then decided to go down and walk towards the lake instead of having to fly with the burning skin, besides the distance between me and the lake was very close. So, I don't have to worry about getting tired from walking too far.

"Hehehehehe.it feels a little laughable" I said smiling as I tidied my hair.

...***...

"Emh! as usual the bushes near the lake are very thick hahh.I hope my dress is not exposed to the sap of the leaves" I said while breaking through the bushes.

After descending from the hot sun I then immediately continued with a leisurely walk under the shade of the trees, the wind in the forest was always blowing coolly blowing my hair and I loved it even more the wind was getting stronger which made me have to hold my dress skirt to keep it from opening when I started to approach the outskirts of the forest towards lake.

The cool breeze was indeed very pleasant, but the closer I got to the edge of the bush forest in this place was also more troublesome, the more troublesome it was, for others this experience may feel like a fun adventure, but that didn't apply to me because I was wearing all-white clothes that made me feel worried about the leaves rubbing against the fabric of my dress.

I do not care if there are leaves or twigs attached to my hair because I can immediately clean it, but it is different if the attached is the sap from the bushes because cleaning it will be very troublesome, it will be very difficult, not to mention I have absolutely no detergent soap to wash clothes which makes me have to be careful with the slightest stains.

"Hm. ahh he's still sleeping."

The day is still very hot, maybe I better wait in sin— em...

After a while it was made to worry by the thickness of the plants I had to pass through, I finally arrived outside the forest or rather outside the annoying bushes and because it was still hot I could not get close to Sira who was still asleep beside the rock near the lake.

I do not want to come into direct contact with the sun if it is too hot especially now is not the right time to sunbathe for the sake of getting vitamin D because I am sure this time has passed from ten in the morning. So, I could only watch over Sira from under the shade tree that was a bit far away from her.

Even so, when I tried to sit leaning against the tree trunk where I was sheltering, I could not bear to see Sira who was about to be touched by the sunlight, moreover, the thick clean fur looks hot enough for Sira and if coupled with the hot sun maybe she will sweat and of course I do not want it to happen because it will damage the beauty of the fur.

"Hehehe... he was really fast asleep, hm... if it's not wrong I used to have a cat– ah.. forget it anyway I have a bigger ehehe" I said chuckling while holding Sira.

.

.

I stepped my foot through several meters of grass before finally reaching in front of Sira, her round face looked very adorable when she was sleeping even more so when I lifted her body Sira was very weak like a withered plant and once again it looked very adorable.

After I carried Sira like a baby I then carried her under a shady shade tree and sat down while holding Sira on my thighs, I also stroked Sira's head and body that was filled with that thick fur, the gentle sensation on my palm at first glance reminded me of the cat I once kept even though it happened for only a short while because the cat went somewhere after a week in my house.

"Ahh... I hope this chain punishment can be quickly ended, I want to immediately see the outside world, yahh" I said while sitting under a tree.

I think it's better than having to die a second time, at least I can still enjoy my life...

Sitting pensively gazing at Sira and the waves calmed the lake water even though just a glance I wished I could soon escape my punishment, I was looking forward to the view of life outside the forest from this fantasy world because I never had time to enjoy it because my body shape still resembles a dragon monster and I could not travel around the city with such a form.

However, my desire to see the outside world may be a wishful thinking because I do not know when this punishment will end, after thinking about such an obscure thing my gaze began to fade a little coupled with all the touch of a gentle breeze that further aggravated my head every time making me fall asleep in a peaceful and silent atmosphere aided by the pressure of calmness that released the weight of my mind.

...***...

"Miss? miss Shea?"

"Hoahh…! uhhh! what's up Sira?" I asked while rubbing my eyes.

I fell asleep very fast without knowing the position of the sun that had changed until I finally faintly heard the voice of Sira who called me with small claps on my arm that made me wake up, he said, although drowsiness still dominates my consciousness, but I still try to open my eyes because the clap of Sira's hand feels ridiculous.

"It is not good to sleep outside, miss, we should go home anyway there is still tomorrow for a walk" Sira told me.

"Yes.. hoahh! all right, let's go home" I said as I slowly stood up.
