I Will Avoid The Death Flag [It's Published]
26. Conversations I

Okay, this isn't funny at all.

The strange light emanating from my body had indeed uprooted the robed men, but there was no guarantee that I would survive. Who guarantees that they wake up and find my body losing consciousness, and then bring my body.

Now, there are only two options left. First, they were thrown into bars by robed men. Second, they killed me first and I was in hell. However, there could be a third option, which is saved Viten.

"Serethy."

Then I heard a voice calling me softly. The melody sounded beautiful, so beautiful I felt that my whole skin was shaking. I'm goosebumps.

"Serethy, wake up."

I felt my head softly stroked. It was such a sweet crib that I was so overwhelmed.

Then, I opened my eyes after hearing my name being called back.

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was a ceiling made of clouds. It looks soft, I'm not lying. However, the luxurious chandeliers clung tightly to those clouds, as if the softness of the clouds was by no means absolute here.

Decorations and typical classic carvings such as royal palaces were attached to the walls in white and gold. The portraits, paintings, and vases that were also draped in gold were so dazzling. It looks like the gold is real.

Then, I lay on a large, soft bed. Then when I turned my head, I seemed to see an angel. Okay, whoever that woman is, she looks really pretty.

"Serethy," he called.

"It—?" I haven't finished my sentence yet, I feel my head throbbing in pain. So-so. "Ukh!"

"Drink this, Serethy. It's medicine."

Regardless of what kind of trust I gave the woman, I grabbed the tiny golden bowl and gulped down its contents in one gulp. That tastes sweet. Not too bad.

"You feel better?" ask the woman. He stroked my shoulder with great affection.

"Who are you?" my question, using formal tones. That's because I don't know who he is and where I am. Just in case, so I used it. Is he a royal doctor? But judging from where I was, I wasn't in the palace. Other places similar to the palace.

"I'm Angelina." She smiles. However, as if his smile was completely dazzling, the light behind him shone in astonishment.

"Sorry, Serethy. I shouldn't have intervened you earlier. However, I'm not sure how to save you."

"What do you mean?"

Angelina's flickering fingers finally stroked my head gently. I don't know why this woman loves to stroke my limbs, but it's not a big deal. For every touch is felt by my senses, so I feel a deep serenity within me.

"The bastard will kill you, Serethy. So, I unknowingly intervened through you. I threatened them through your lips."

Angeline touched my lips, then smiled sweetly.

"Wait, I do feel you inside me. Your Emotions. Everything. But how can you do it? Who are you really?"

His fingers tucked my pink hairdo behind his ears. "It was easy for me to do it, Serethy. But unfortunately, your body can't handle it. To intervene with a human by your power is too heavy that you lose your consciousness."

"Wait, you're saying that you're Angelina? The one who spoke through my lips before?"

Angelina nodded elegantly. I only realized that her aura was so graceful and dignified. This woman is not just beautiful, but someone who deserves to be a ruler.

"But the one who speaks through my lips is the Sun Goddess?"

"That's me." Angelina smiled gently. However, that gentle smile certainly could not overcome the feeling of shock that overwhelmed me.

"A-You are the Sun Goddess?! The wife of the Sun God?!"

"Um, Serethy, there seems to be a misunderstanding. I am actually the Sun Goddess, but since humans consider the sun to be masculine, people started calling me the Sun God. And I let this happen because it's hard to control the spread of that name."

My two violet-colored eyes widened. Seriously, I didn't expect that my wish would be fulfilled so soon.

It was only fitting that every touch of Angelina was soothing on my skin, her voice also sounded majestic, and her aura looked extremely dignified. The reason for that was because she was the Sun Goddess, Angelina.

"De-Goddess! I have a lot of questions to ask!" I said nervously. My eyes shone with anxious hope.

Angelina then gently touched the tip of my nose. "We have a lot of time to talk, more precisely one week. We can't talk for more than a week, Serethy darling. So, you can stay here that long."

"Why is that, Goddess?"

Angelina grabbed both of my hands, grasping them tightly. It was warm and soothing, making the foggy feeling in my heart recede.

"Isn't a week a time when humans can survive without consuming anything?"

I blinked both my eyes. That's right, but as if I wouldn't be given anything to eat and drink?

"It seems you don't know for sure, Serethy."

"Sorry, Goddess, I don't know what yet?"

"This, that the fingers and the body I touch are not your physical form. Your physical body is on Earth, safe next to Viten, Cioten, Sir Derick, and Axel, and your three servants. However, what was before me was only your soul, your soul that was on the verge of life and death.

"I call your soul here to finish all the strange feelings on your chest, dear Serethy. And the soul certainly can not consume nutrients so it only takes one week until the soul finally fades and dies. Then, your body will also immediately stop breathing."

I'm a little jerk. I'll die if I stay here for more than a week. That sounds so horrible in my ears now.

And Angelina said it with a calm looking smile.

"I understand, Goddess. So, where am I really?"

"Nebula, the abode of gods and goddesses," Angelina replied, I don't know if I can keep calling her Angelina after knowing her identity or not, but she continued, "I intercepted you on Earth before. Since I have already used my powers on you, why not call you here?"

"Ah." I nodded in understanding. If you are already wet in the lake, why not swim?

"So, maybe I'll pay the price later, but forget about it." Angelina's voice shrank so I couldn't hear her. Now, Angelina looked at me with a shady smile. "You want to talk while you look around?"

Sightseeing? Despite the confusion, I still nodded to accept Angelina's invitation.

"This is the Castle of the Sun, Serethy," Angelina said. The Sun Goddess walked beside me.

I nodded at Angelina's sentence. This is a very luxurious castle. Everything was covered with gold and glittered. Every trinket here is more luxurious even than the Palace of Happiness. However, I like the ceiling of the castle the soft clouds. It was a real cloud. It makes the castle look cool.

"This is a beautiful castle. I can stay here at home."

Angelina laughs. "If we stay together, it looks like it'll be fun."

"I like that idea."

Knowing the fact that the one beside me was the Goddess made me a little depressed, even though the aura around Angelina did not say so.

Instead of that horrible feeling

taking hold of me, Angelina was always full of positive energy. Angelina continued to smile calmly, her face was friendly and not once did she show any negative emotions, her relaxed expression also allowed me to ease the pressure on my chest.

Angelina was wearing a lacy white dress made from falling. It did not expand like most of my dresses, but was able to follow Angelina's curves so that it looked beautiful. Angelina also wears gold jewelry that is not excessive. However, I liked the accessories in his head. It looked so elegant and majestic, showing that she was the Sun Goddess, the ruler of this universe.

I almost forgot that this world is the novel of [Luka Serethy]. I was so overwhelmed and thought of myself as the real 'Serethy.

Here, I also wore a white dress that was almost similar to Angelina and high white shoes.

"So, Serethy. What do you want to know? You're free to ask everything, but maybe I can't answer everything."

I can ask anything, but Angelina won't answer if she can't or won't.

I exhaled my breath. "Do you really believe that I am Serethy?"

Angelina smiled, but looked mysterious now.

We kept walking in the luxurious hallways of the castle, so that at least every gold on the wall could calm my tense self.

"Of course not. You're not Serethy" Angelina replied calmly.

"Did you bring me here?"

"That's right."

"Then why did you bring me here?"

"Sorry, Honey. I can't say." Angelina shook her head. "I promised, so I can't say it. As a Goddess, I certainly can't break the promise I made."

I've guessed. My question must have been too spontaneous and hasty.

"Then, Goddess, what is the right choice to make me as Serethy?"

This time, Angelina's golden bead looked at me with a soft look. Her fingers rose and stroked my pink hair.

"How could this be the wrong choice when you've done well? Oh, my dear, look what you have achieved with these two hands." Angelina turned on both of my hands, stroking them slowly.

"But I feel depressed, Goddess. Everyone in this world makes me have to keep a close eye on them. They are not the kind of people I can match. What if they end up killing and hurting me?"

Angelina shook her head slowly. "That's impossible, Serethy. You don't know what magic you've given them. You don't have to worry if they want to kill you or torture you. Because it's not something that could happen."

"Why is that, Goddess?"

"You didn't realize it?"

"Yes?"

Angelina chuckles amusedly. "Here you go, I'm not gonna tell you. Let you find out for yourself. And the point you have to scratch here is that they won't kill or torture you, take that, Serethy. Loosen your vigilance around them and you will still be fine. I promise."

Angelina promised. That means it's possible. Maybe I should relax my guard at the people around me. Maybe if I believed, then I wouldn't be hurt like my fear. Maybe that I .. could have a place here to survive. Because for God's sake, I really want to live.

"Goddess, why did you choose me?"

"Didn't you take sleeping pills in high doses?"

I gasped at Angelina's words.

"You lost hope there, Serethy, then I'm giving you a chance here."

It´s real. I'm losing hope.

I already planned to take sleeping pills at a very high dose, which could instantly cause me death. Before consuming it, I read the novel [Luka Serethy] and after finishing the novel, I threw the novel out the window, then I slept with the details of sleeping pills on my stomach.

I should have died by then. The irony when I realized instead that I had opened my eyes again in a moving horse-drawn carriage, became a prisoner of war, and was thrown into prison.

But I really want to live. I want to live. Death is so scary it feels crowded. Death was so terrible that I would rather live with two psychopathic men than be held for the end of my life.

Angelina's fingers went up and stroked my cheeks, no, wiping away my tears that had been flowing for some time. I didn't even notice.

"You've done your best, honey. You being here is a very good thing. You live everything firmly. You can live it and it's amazing. I'm proud of you."

Angelina then took me into a hug. It was a very comfortable hug, like a mother's hug—though I never felt a mother's hug.

It was a hug to calm me down, but my tears were coming out even more. It was as if this was the time to shed every feeling that accumulated to make me sick.

The fact that I tried to kill myself earlier made my heart tight. I'm so stupid. How could I choose that option when I should still be able to open my eyes later on? Be a better person, be a better person, and be a positive type of person.

I am thankful that I did not die. I am grateful that the Sun Goddess brought me into the novel [Luka Serethy]. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to repair my broken self.

Because my dream is to survive.

...***...

According to Hallodoc, humans can die if they eat and drink for 46 hours to 70 days. Idk, but let's just say that here Serethy could die if more than a week has not returned to earth.
