Sadness and Loneliness

Berliana always felt grateful for the warmth and acceptance of her husband's family. However, she now lives in grief and loneliness as her husband, Kenzie, dies in a tragic accident with his mother-in-law. The young woman was left alone and pregnant, and her husband did not know about her condition.

Instead of providing support, her mother-in-law kicked her out, blaming her for her son's death.

Berliana was devastated by her loss and often found herself crying alone in her room or praying after her prayers. He had no one to turn to, no one to vent to, and no one to share his pain with.

Her once happy life has been turned upside down, and she struggles to accept her grief and the loneliness that comes with it.

"Oh Allah, please give me strength to face this great test of yours. Give me the fortitude and sincerity to accept Your destiny."

"God, give healing and good health to my baby. Protect her always in your vast womb."

"O Allah, thank You for all that You have given me. Thank you for the time I spent with my husband and my mother-in-law. I ask for Your forgiveness and love for them."

Such are the prayers offered by Berliana all the time, in order to live his days with a firm and strong.

"Berlin. How are you, son?" The younger brother of his late father Kenzie, asked attentively.

He is the head of the family in this house. His name is Burhanuddin Zafran. So, Zafran's name was a surname for the boy from the boy's side.

"Thank God be fine, Om. I still feel sad because Kenzie left me in this state. But I'm trying to be strong and focused on my baby, for now for him to grow up without anything happening."

Berliana answered a question from Burhan, with a sad face and almost shedding tears again. Just like always.

"Yes, I can imagine what it's like. But you are not alone, we will always be there for you. How's your baby progressing?" ask Burhan later.

"Alhamdulillah, Om. Everything's fine. The doctor said that my baby was healthy and normal."

"Thank God then. Real nice. You know, your son will be Kenzie's heir and our family too. We will always love and take care of you both."

Berliana smiled faintly at the words of om Burhan. On the other hand, there was his wife Burhan who stroked the back of Berliana's hand.

"Thank you very much, Om. I'm very grateful for the help and support of the family, Om and Auntie."

"Together, darling. Don't hesitate if you need something." Now, the one talking is Burhan's wife, Hartanti.

Days changed weeks, and weeks changed months, but Berliana's pain remained the same. She struggles to continue her pregnancy alone, and the absence of her beloved husband makes it even more difficult. She finds solace in her faith and the support of her close brother, who stands by her side during her sad times.

Berliana's love for Kenzie never ended, and always prayed for the deceased. He thought about their child, which often made him sad again.

Finally Berliana decided to write a love letter, though never sent to anyone, pouring the contents of her heart and soul into those pages. In her letter, she shares her fears, hopes, and dreams for their child. She knew that Kenzie would never read it, but writing down what was in her heart provided comfort and a sense of closeness to her late husband.

"Oh my God, don't let me feel alone in my grief. Show me the way of happiness and give me family and friends who always support and strengthen me."

"Oh Allah, give me guidance in taking care of my baby. Give me the wisdom and strength to be a good mother and teach my child about You."

"O Allah, I ask for Your protection from negative thoughts and constant sadness. Give me the strength to live this life with joy and peace."

Berliana always prayed after she finished writing a letter to her husband, which she only kept in the closet drawer in her room.

"Eh, thank you, brother."

"Berlin. No need to thank you, I am happy to be with you. What can I do to help you?" Dylan, the son of Burhan and Hartanti, was helping him pick up a bottle that was in the kitchen storage cupboard.

"Actually, I just want a little cooking." Berliana intended to take the spices circulating on the cupboard, as she wanted to cook something without having to trouble their housekeeper.

"Why not ask for help with aunt? Or the same mom?" dylan asked his forehead.

"I feel sad because my husband passed away and I'm not ready to be a single mother. So, from now on I have to study independently, sis."

Berliana said with her face down. Every time he thought back to everything, he was always sad.

"Don't be sad, Berliana. You can talk to me anytime. We're all here for you. You're not alone."

Dylan had already regarded Berliana as his brother, so he sought to provide protection for the wife of his late cousin.

"Thank you, brother. I really appreciate your support. I often wish my husband was still there to see our baby." Berliana smiled bitterly.

"I'm sure Kenzie will always see you and your baby from heaven. She must have felt so proud and happy to see you fighting and taking care of her baby so well." Dylan gave a word of encouragement.

When Berliana lost her husband, Kenzie, in a tragic accident, not only did Berliana feel sad. Kenzie's mother, Juwita, also felt the loss of her beloved son. However, there is a sense of guilt that haunts him at all times, as he was the one responsible for the accident.

"Hiksss.. forgive mom, Kenzie."

Juwita knew that he made a big mistake when the accident happened. She tries to minimize her mistakes and moves the burden of her responsibilities to Berliana, who is currently pregnant with her son Kenzie. He felt that Berliana was the right scapegoat to accept all the blame and responsibility for the accident.

However, guilt and fear of finding the truth always haunts Juwita's mind. He feels deeply saddened and grieved over Kenzie's death and decides to blame Berliana for not facing the consequences of his fatal mistake.

Juwita also feels lonely and estranged, as Kenzie's family, on the part of her late husband and friends, are no longer in contact with her after the accident. He felt that he had lost everything, including his son and grandson, and did not know what to do other than blame Berliana.

Juwita's emotional condition becomes complicated and difficult to overcome. He should have learned to face his mistakes and accepted the fact that he had to take responsibility for his actions. She must also repair ties with the Kenzie family and support the pregnant Berliana in the face of an uncertain future.

But he was too selfish, and would not budge and admit his mistake.
