Inherited Blood

Inherited Blood
Chapter 15 Pursued Bunian People

Bahar and Dayu explore the jungle.

"My car is not far from here. We have to get in the car, so they can't follow you" Bahar said in footsteps.

"Who's following me, sir?" Dayu felt astonished.

"They are behind you. We better get going." Bahar went faster. Bahar's words made Dayu curious, who followed him. However, when he was about to look back, Bahar prevented.

"Don't look, if you see them, you won't be able to walk anymore."

"But, why, sir?" Dayu grew curious.

"They can hypnotize you. Come on, the faster the way. Don't talk much." said Bahar.

Dayu immediately shut up and walked quickly to follow Bahar's feet. The longer he walked, Dayu felt his legs start to get tired.

"I'm tired, sir." Mum complaining.

"Don't stop, just a little bit more until we." Bahar pulls Dayu's hand, then takes her running.

Behind them, a group of hamlet men chased. Not long after, Dayu saw a pick up car that was on the edge of the highway. After arriving at the side of the car, Bahar immediately headed for the steering wheel.

"Come, in! Whooo!" Bahar yells. Wake up when opening the door. As soon as the door was closed there was a loud clashing sound.

Braaaaac!

In shock, he saw one man hit the car door. The man looked angrily looking at Dayu, Dayu immediately threw away his face, with a trembling body.

"You don't be afraid. This car I've already cast a spell on, they won't be able to get in." Bahar calms Dayu.

The man who hit the door tried to open the door, but to no avail. The man held his blistered hand. The spell Bahar made had enveloped the entire car. So, those who touch the car will be blocked by rays that can burn. Meanwhile, another man, who numbered about twenty people, surrounded the car from various directions. Their originally human-like faces, had turned into various sinister ethereal creatures.

The change made Dayu even more afraid, he closed his eyes as hard as he could. Although not seeing, but his inner eye is able to capture the movements of all people.

Bahar drove the car very fast. No one can stop the car. Although, the male bunian tried to get in the way. Two elderly men jumped on the hood of a car, trying to break through glass, but failed. A beam of light coming out of the glass hit their bodies. Until, they fell. Some male snaps on the hood of the car, their fate is the same, all the male snaps into the air, then falls to the earth. Bahar takes the car, at full speed and steers left and right. What Bahar did made the car run zig zag.

Dayu's body slammed to the right, then to the left. His face grimaced with pain, he did not dare to open his eyes, despite being curious about what was going on.

Yep...Allah, protect the servant....

Praying in the heart. Fear controlled him, until tears involuntarily flowed down both cheeks. He just wants to have a home, so he can live comfortably with his mother and best friend. However, it looks like he has to get a lot of obstacles to be able to realize his dream.

Bahar's efforts to avoid the attacks of the male bunian succeeded. Every time they tried to attack the car, their bodies would bounce back from the rays. The rays hitting their bodies rendered them helpless, falling and unable to get up again. There are no more male animals left. All on the ground. The big man appeared, when the car was far away. The man's face held in anger, then he shouted loudly.

"Aaaarrrrrggghhhhh...!" the man's screams echoed frighteningly.

Bahar took the car out of the jungle. Now, cars are tracing the village streets. Bahar's eyes stared at the rearview mirror looking at Dayu.

"They are no more, son. Open your eyes, we're in the village." Bahar says.

Dayu opened her eyes, then looked around and her breathing heaved a sigh of relief.

Alhamdulillahot...

View of the residents' houses passed. Seeing some residents in the rice fields and meeting some residents on the road, presents a feeling of gratitude in the heart of Dayu. He can avoid disaster, avoid the pursuit of the people bunian. If only he had been arrested again by them, he could not have imagined, what would happen to him. Fortunately, he and Mita survived. Perhaps, Mita was also saved by the Father who gave her a will.

When I get to my dad's house, I'll meet Mita. I'm the same Mita can stay there a few days. After that, we'll pick up mom.

Dayu's feeling warm thinking about that. The car shock was felt again, this time the path that made Dayu's body move to the right, then to the left.

The car that was running fast, slowly reduced its speed. Dayu saw the houses along the way. A simple house made of wood. There are only a few who build permanent homes.

"Where are you from, Mr Bahar?" greet the man.

"From the city, Mr. Kades." Bahar answered respectfully to the man who served as the village chief.

"A long time ago we did not meet. How are you, Father?" ask Kades.

"My news is good, sir. Mr. Kades just like everyone else from where?" Bahar looked at Mr. Kades' subordinate.

"We're from Mr. Camat's house. There's a problem with village aid." Kades explained.

The village chief looked at Dayu. Dayu nodded, smiling.

"Who is this?" ask the village chief.

Getting the question, Dayu was confused to answer. Bahar caught Dayu's confusion.

"He's the son of the late Kamal, sir." Bahar had to be honest, he did not know how to explain who the girl he was carrying.

"The son of the deceased Kamal?" kades' forehead wrinkled in wonder, "The late Kamal Abidin?"

Hearing the question, Dayu nodded and replied.

"Yes, Sir. I am Dayu, son of the late Kamal Abidin." Dayu reached out and greeted Kades. Dayu attached the hands of the kades to her forehead.

"Waaaah, it's already the girl of Kamal's deceased son." Kades smiled kindly, "You must be going to your late father's house."

"Yes, sir." Dayu.

"Oooo, yes, yes. You take her first, Bahar. We'll talk again." Kades said to Bahar.

"Good, Sir. If so, we'll excuse us." Bahar said politely.

"Oh, yes. Please, be careful on the road." kades.

Bahar carried the car accompanied by the gaze of the village head and his men.

"Why was the daughter of the deceased Kamal taken with Bahar?" Kades said astonished.

"Sir, why don't you ask directly to Mr. Bahar about Mak Nairah's daughter." one of the subordinates of the green-clothed kades asked.

"No need to ask Mr. Bahar. Later, we go to Mak Nairah's house, we just ask her directly." reply Kades.

"If you ask Mak Nairah, isn't she angry, sir?" ask the man in black.

"Perhaps, Mak Nairah will get angry. But, we must not be afraid, we must know the truth about Kemuning. It has been almost three months, we neglected to ask about Kemuning. Is he still alive? Or, he's dead."

"Is it possible, Kemuning is still alive, sir?" the man in red asked.

"That possibility is impossible. The hospital doctor has informed him if Kemuning has died. The doctor himself examined the state of Kemuning." Kades explained.

"But, Sir. Some say that Kemuning is still alive. After being discharged from the hospital, Mak Nairah herself treated him. Hence, we do not see Kemuing, because it is still in the treatment of Mak Nairah." the man in white clothes spoke.

"Whatever people say. Instead, we'll just look right there." kades gave an understanding.

"Yes, sir." the man in white clothes nodded.

"Now, we go home to each other. Later that night, we go to Mak Nairah's house." kades ended the conversation.
