Chapter 4 The Will.

Dayu simply stared at the contents of the will, without reading it. Then, he folded the letter and kept the bag of negligee he was wearing.

"Later we read, Ta. We'll take this father to the hospital." Dayu looked at Mita who nodded in agreement.

Nearly an hour later, an Ambulance car entered the yard. After the ambulance stopped in front of the house, a neighbor man approached the driver who was still in the car.

"Mr is alone?" ask the man.

"Yes, Sir. No nurse can come. A lot of patients in the hospital, we're short of nurses." the driver explained.

"If so, please help lift the patient, will you?"

"Well, sir." The driver nodded, then got out of the car and helped lift

man dressed in black. After the man lay in bed, the ambulance driver looked at Dayu, Mita and the neighboring man. The driver was astonished, as the three of them got out of the car.

"Who will accompany the patient?" ask driver.

"Finely, the two brothers went to the hospital. "The neighbor man said. Dayu and Mita look at each other

"Yes, let's go, Ta. Poor Father if alone." Dayu invites Mita, "Thank you, yes, sir. For his help." Sayu thanked the neighbor

"Yes, Brother. Equally." the neighbor guy nodded, smiling.

Dayu and Mita ride together to the car, then the driver closes the car door and walks towards the front of the car. The neighbor man stared at the ambulance that was walking out of the yard. Then, drive towards the highway.

In the ambulance, Dayu and Mita sat side by side staring at the man dressed in black.

"Yes, read the will. I'm curious about it." Mita whispers. Dayu obeyed Mita's words, he took the letter, and opened it. They read together in their hearts.

"Waaaah, you got the inheritance of the house, Yu." Mita said very slowly.

"Yes, Ta. I'm ready to read it, right?" asked Dayu, nodding.

"Udah. You keep the letter, don't let it go." Mita reminded.

"Yes..." Jayu answered slowly.

The ambulance arrived at the hospital. The ambulance was welcomed by several nurses. They brought a push-bed. After the black-clothed man was moved to the push bed, the bed was brought inside the hospital building. Dayu and Mita follow the nurses to the treatment room.

After being in the treatment room, the black-clothed man was examined by a doctor, while two nurses helped each other put on an infusion. Dayu and Mita stood watching.

"This father needs hospitalization." The doctor looked at Dayu, then turned to Mita, "Tomorrow, I will continue the examination. For tonight, I'll take the medicine through the infusion." The doctor said, writing something in a book.

"Yes, Doc." Dayu replied to the doctor.

Mita felt her eyes were already very heavy.

"I'm so sleepy, Yu." Mita yawns, "I'm waiting outside, huh?"

"Yes, Ta. Wait outside." Dayu nodded.

Mita went straight out of the room, sitting on one of the long benches. Feeling unable to withstand the drowsiness, Mita lay down on the chair and fell asleep.

The doctor had finished examining the man in black. Two nurses also completed their work. They all left the room. Staying alone, Dayu sat beside the bed.

"Who is this Father, huh? Is he Dad's brother?" Dayu tries to remember all of her late father's brothers. However, he was sure he had never seen a man dressed in black.

Dayu stared at the clock of the room, without feeling the night getting late, the clock showed the number twelve through five. Three patients in the room had gone to sleep. Some of the patients' families also slept. Dayu covered her mouth that was yawning. His eyes felt heavy, he tried to keep his eyes from closing. He should not fall asleep, he should take care of men dressed in black. However, the sleepiness that strikes as if unable to hold the song. Finally, he got up and left the room.

Mita had fallen asleep, Dayu just looked at her best friend, then sat next to her. Dayu's eyes stared at the quiet surroundings. Once in a while, a nurse passed by. Sometimes, some patients' families also cross the hospital hallway. Mayu yawned, while covering her mouth with one hand. His eyes were hardened. Then, he took a deep breath and breathed a long one. Now, the sleepiness feels a bit reduced.

Dayu daydreamed about the incident she had just experienced. He never thought he would get the inheritance from his late father. But why was the man carrying the will from his father injured? What happened to the man before he came to his house? Dayu was curious, hopefully tomorrow morning the man woke up, so he could get an answer from the man.

The quiet situation makes the atmosphere feel gripping. The wind hit Dayu's body, making him shiver with cold. Suddenly, his hair stood up.

Dayu was unaware, when suddenly, a single figure of a broken-faced man appeared beside her. The man's clothes and body were black from burning. The man brought his face closer to Dayu. Dayu was shocked, the man's broken face was right in front of his face. Dayu wanted to scream, but her voice was stuck in her throat. Fear ruled Dayu, her whole body trembling. Unable to hold back the fear, Dayu closed her eyes. The man sniffed Dayu's face, rubbed Dayu's face, then pulled out his tongue licking Dayu's face.

A nurse passed in front of Daun. The nurse stopped, when she saw Dayu's pale face and trembling body.

"Sir, what's wrong with you?" The nurse called Dayu, holding her shoulder.

She was shocked to hear the nurse call. His eyes opened, he felt grateful for the nurse's face before him. Dayu turned his head to the left, then to the right and heaved a sigh of relief. The creepy figure of a man was nowhere to be seen anymore.

"Thank you, Brother." Dayu held the nurse's hand which was astonished to hear Dayu's words

"What's up, brother? Why did you say thank you."

Mayu was confused, what to say. No way, he said that there was a broken-faced ghost in front of him.

"Eh, I had a nightmare, brother. Thank you, Brother, for waking me up from a nightmare." Mayu gets an excuse.

"Ooooh, thank goodness. You're just a dream, I saw you were shaking, I thought you were sick." the nurse breathed a sigh of relief, "Yes, that's it, yeah. I'll go inside first."

"Yes, Brother." Dayu nodded.

Just as the nurse passed, Dayu's eyes caught the presence of one female figure who was walking towards her. The pale face of the woman smirked at him. The woman's grin showed her fang-toothed, bloody mouth. Before the woman was close to him, Dayu immediately got up and stepped quickly into the room.
