The Slave Merchant Who Kidnapped the Young Elves

Some time before.

"Quick! We need to get out of here as soon as possible!" shouted the distended-bellied man to some of the muscular men around.

"Good boss!" shouted the muscular men.

They were slave traders who had just obtained countless numbers of young elves. But when they were happy, suddenly there was a big wolf who was after them.

They escaped from the big wolves because their strength was not enough to fight against them moreover they needed to protect the young elves so that they would not get injured.

But, as they were speeding along, their horse carriage made a noise and suddenly one of its wheels shattered and inevitably they had to fight the wolf behind them.

The large wolf that saw its prey stopped roaring loudly as it wanted to try to eat the creature that it did not know in front of it.

Back to the present time.

"Are we going to help? Help the young elves of course," asked Karina.

The women turned to Julian waiting for his decision because Julian was the leader and they could not act rashly.

Julian grinned and said, "Of course, this is one of the joys of adventure. You can take care of the wolves there, right?"

"Send it to us!" say the four of them.

"Good," Julian said before disappearing from his place.

"Let's hurry!" Karina was also preparing to use a magic spell.

Nimi and Mine ran over tightly while holding onto their two knives tightly, Karina also ran after them while Claire would approach slowly.

"Roar!!" the big wolf roared in pain.

"What's going on!?" belly guy wonders.

It was because Nimi and Mine got there quickly and directly attacked the big wolf's leg without hesitation that made the big wolf roar in pain.

Karina used Leap to move quickly, she placed both her palms on the skin of the big wolf and attacked him with the lightning element.

The big wolf had not had time to shout, suddenly there were a lot of fireballs coming towards him and exploding when it came into contact with his skin.

"They're very excited" Julian thought.

He moved quickly towards the muscular men and instantly killed them by breaking their necks or turning their heads.

Julian killed all the muscular men in a matter of seconds and left the belly man behind because he knew that the man was a slave trader and the muscular men were his bodyguards.

The women also killed the big wolf in less than a minute. They work together so well that they already understand what is good to do without communicating.

"Done!" yell at the four of them.

"Good work" Julian said, praising them.

The distended belly man widened his eyes in shock at their actions, he shouted in fear, "Who are you!?"

"We? We're just passers-by." Julian pulled the collar of the bloated belly man until it fell and then he tied his body with a rope.

The women also released the young elves who were still bound. The young elves looked at the humans in front of them with fear but they also knew that they were not bad people like distended belly men.

Claire looked at the young elf and spoke in an overtime tone, "Have you guys eaten yet?"

The young elves looked at Claire and shook their heads. Claire smiled and gave them drinks and food.

Meanwhile, Julian was interrogating the man in the distended stomach. He asked many questions regarding what the man was doing with the young elves.

Julian exhaled a long breath, he then tied the man's distended stomach to the tree so that he could not escape later.

"How's it?" ask Julian to Claire.

"They're from Elrei City and it turns out they're all orphans and live in an orphanage there" Claire replied with pity.

"Hello kids, it looks like you guys are having a hard time. Can you tell me what you're doing in the woods?" Julian asked you as gently as possible so as not to scare at the young elves.

The young elves looked like 5-9 year olds. Elves are a race that have a long life of about four times that of humans.

In the human lifespan system, the young elf in front of him was currently 20 years old. But in the age system of the elves race, he was still 5 years old.

Although Julian felt a bit strange because they had outlived him but they were still children.

"We're looking for food" replied one of the young elves.

"Food yes, you good children" Julian said, stroking their heads.

"They must be worried, are any of you who know how to contact Elrei City?" julian asked the women but they shook their heads.

"There's no other way" Julian thought.

He approached the young elves and said that their current location was a day's walk from Elrei City and there was no way to contact the city.

"That's okay. We are very grateful to be saved by you" said the young elf.

"You can think grown-up. But don't call me 'Master' just call me 'Sister' or 'Brother'" Julian said.

"Good, brother." The young elves changed Julian's call.

After that Julian calculated that there were about 15 children and the horse carriage was not enough to accommodate them all.

Julian directed his gaze towards the carriage belonging to the slave merchant. Only the wheels were destroyed, the rest could still be used.

So Julian took out the equipment to make a new wheel. Although not as good as the original wheel, it can still be used for a while and may be able to survive until the City of Elrei.

"Today, Claire, you used them on this horse" Julian said.

"Yes" nodded the two of them.

Then Karina and Claire told the young elves to split into two groups and told them to climb into the horse carriage.

After that two horse carriages drove towards Elrei City and with their speed, would most likely get there for a day and a half.

If the numbers on the young elves were not too many, Julian would instantly transform into a Pterosaur and send them to the city. However the number there are 15 and plus the other one being 19, it is not possible to carry all of them.

"Hey! Don't leave me! Oye! Goddamnit!" the bloated belly man shouted anxiously at the sight of them leaving himself in the middle of this forest.

The distended stomach man looked around and was immediately frightened because the day was getting dark and there were strange sounds around.

"Hm? Have we forgotten something?" julian asked because he seemed to have forgotten something.

"I don't think so?" nimi said beside Julian.

"Nothing, Master," Mine added.

"Well okay." Julian just shrugged and didn't really care even though he was sure that he seemed to be forgetting something.

Nimi and Mine taught the young elves to speak. Initially the young elves did not respond much but because Nimi and Mine's cheerful nature made them cheerful as well.

Just like the other horse carriages, with the nature of Karina and Claire's story, the young elves were able to speak comfortably and not awkwardly at all.
