Isekai Dinosaur
Thick-Hairy Animals in Hot Deserts

The four of them went to the desert town of Cronna which is about three to four days away from Coramon City.

Along the way, they passed through the dark forest, the atmosphere was gripping, even the sounds of birds chirping sounded creepy.

Yet they were not at all afraid, even while going through the sinister path, they sang together.

Then they met with several caravans of horse-drawn carriages belonging to merchants who were heading to Coramon City to trade.

Julian asked them the situation in Cronna City, how shocked he was to learn that Cronna City was in crisis.

Claire looked worried and asked Julian, "Master, are we still going to Cronna City?"

"Of course, is there anything that worries you?" julian asked without looking because he was driving.

Claire replied, "That's because Cronna City is in crisis, I'm afraid we'll get in trouble if we go there."

Nimi who was eating a snack said, "Isn't that good? It would be boring to just visit somewhere without doing anything."

"Nimi's right, I also want to do a fight! My body has stiffened because it has not fought for two days" Mine added.

Claire held her head and said, "You guys are yeah, just thinking about the fight."

"Haha, it's okay, Claire. In addition to visiting various places, I also want to spread my name as a good person."

"In the future, people will welcome us with open arms who solve all kinds of unnecessary problems."

"Also, isn't it fun to help others?" Julian smiled brightly.

Claire breathed a sigh of resignation and smiled, "Alright, if that is the Master's wish. I'm also happy to help those in need."

"Good," Julian nodded.

They continued on, then one day later the path they were on changed from a green tree to a dry tree.

The fertile soil and dark brown also changed into yellow sand with warm temperatures.

"We'll get to Cronna County, maybe we'll get to Cronna City at night, in about half a day" Julian said.

"The environment is arid." Nimi looked around.

"As far as the eye can see, there's only yellow sand" Mine added.

There was only yellow sand around them. Then there are some dry trees that look like they will die soon.

Even the two horses slowed down their pace as the path was covered with thick sand which made them difficult to step on.

"Hm, you two keep running, I will use wind element magic to drive away the sand that is blocking it." Julian stood up and Claire replaced him driving.

Julian climbed onto the roof of the horse carriage, he pointed both of his palms towards the front and immediately used wind magic by mimicking the concept of a fan that existed on earth.

Julian drew the wind around and made him gather in front of his palm. Then he imagined how the fan works on earth.

It makes the wind blow by rotating it just like a fan at medium speed so that the sand does not fly irregularly.

"Knowledge on earth plus magic in Unionia, two things that combined would make a perfect effect," Julian's inner self.

"Niegh!!" The two horses made a sound looking at the sand that was blocking their steps no longer existed.

But suddenly Julian told the two horses to stop and they stopped their steps abruptly.

"Master! Is there something!?" Claire and the two demi-humans pulled out their weapons thinking the horse carriage had stopped because of an attack.

"Master?" Claire asked again because Julian did not answer.

The three of them were curious why Julian did not reply, they followed Julian's gaze and were stunned by the sight before them.

"Wait a minute." Claire rubbed her eyes because she could not believe what she was seeing.

The four of them were stunned because in front of them was a herd of resting bison, right, a bison that used to live in the meadow.

Perhaps their appearance is more to the Yak animals, large and thick-haired animals that live on snowy plains like Tibetans that exist on earth.

"Why can there be such a thick hairy animal in the desert!!!" Julian shouted in disbelief.

Julian turned to Claire and the two demi-humans then he asked, "The three of you, do you know why?"

The three of them immediately shook their heads as they had also just seen a thick-haired animal in the desert.

"Daml!" shouts Julian.

Thick furry animals that live in the desert, this animal is just like the Yak who live in the snowy highlands of the earth ]

"Ah.. I can't speak..." Julian held his dizzy head.

"Then now, Appraisal functions that thick fur," said Julian.

[Contrary to the Yak on earth, the thick fur of the Sand Yak has the function of protecting their bodies to keep cool in this hot area ]

"A very simple explanation, but that's okay, I get it." Julian nodded and informed Claire and the two demi-humans.

"Woah, I've only heard of something like this." Claire was amazed and inevitably she looked at the Sand Yak herd again.

"I can't imagine how the thick fur keeps their bodies cool, should they be hot right?" Mine tilted his head.

"It's possible that there are internal organs that are different from most other animals" Nimi said.

"Well, whatever it is. Let's continue the journey, the Sand Yak herd didn't attack us either." Julian told both horses to walk.

They continued on towards Cronna City, and unexpectedly, there were many Sand Yak herds around them.

Most of the Sand Yak's herd was resting and there were some who were eating.

And if usually the Yak on earth eats plants and grass, the Sand Yak here eats other animals that are in the sand.

Julian observed them and found that the Sand Yak ate sand ants and wild shrubs that had sharp spines on their twigs.

"Uh, I can't understand how they separate ants with sand, then how can they eat thorny bushes safely." Julian shook his head with the uniqueness of the Sand Yak that was beyond common sense.

Maybe Julian also forgot that he was in a fantasy world where there are so many things that are out of common sense.

...----------------...

Half a day passed in an instant, during the night, they finally saw the City of Cronna because of the city walls were very high about 20 meters.

Since it was already night, no one was in line to enter the City of Cronna. Julian entered very smoothly after showing his gold-patterned self-identity card.

After asking the passers-by where the inn could accept demi-humans, Julian found out that in the city of Cronna, demi-humans were not hated.

Julian thanked the man and went towards the notified inn which turned out to be very close to the gate.

Julian got down and asked the inn's entrance attendant, "Excuse me, where can I park my carriage?"

"Good night, sir. Let me take you to the horse carriage parking area" said the officer politely.

"Thank you." Julian nodded.

After parking the horse-drawn carriage, they got off and booked a large room to the receptionist in the lobby of the inn.

"For a large room, the price is 8 bronze coins, Master! How many days to stay?" ask receptionist.

"Wait a minute, is the room the best?" ask Julian.

"That's a normal room, sir. If you want the best room, it will cost 1 silver and 2 bronze" replied the receptionist.

"I take the best, for now, I'll stay for 10 days." Julian took out his money bag.

"Good! The total is 12 silver coins!" the receptionist said in a happy tone as the customer in front of him was very generous.

It is rare for people to book the best room in their inn, usually nobles or the rich prefer the inn in the center of the city that is more luxurious.

"It." Julian handed over 12 silver coins and his identity card to the receptionist.

"Thank you, !!" The receptionist widened her eyes after seeing Julian's identity card.

"Haha, don't be too surprised." Julian chuckled at the receptionist's reaction.

"ah! I'm sorry, Sir!" The receptionist realizes his mistake and immediately records Julian's identity.

The receptionist returned Julian's identity card and said, "Thank you for staying at our inn!"

"Together." Julian nodded.

They were then escorted to their room on the top floor by a waiter called by the receptionist.

After entering the room, they immediately fell asleep because they were very tired and because they had not slept in bed for a long time.
