"Ughhh!" Mine is crashing and rolling on the sand.
Nimi appeared behind Julian and pointed the tip of his knife towards Julian's back neck. But Julian avoided the attack with the minimum possible movement.
Julian held onto Nimi's hand and threw his body towards Mine which made the already standing Mine fall again.
"Your cooperation has been very good. Don't worry, you just need to practice again" Julian said.
The three of them were currently training together. Nimi and Mine use the stone magic they learned by attacking Julian.
Julian also asked them not to hold back. Nimi and Mine nodded knowing that even with the combined strength, they could not defeat Julian.
And so, Nimi entered the shadow of Mine to attack suddenly. Mine attacks directly on a regular basis then uses his new magic to create a defense on his skin.
"Good, Master!" they both nodded seriously.
As Julian had said, since the two of them had always lived together, their cooperation was already very good as if they had telepathy because their movements were very smooth.
Then they continued their training. Nimi entered into the shadow of Mine and Mine immediately advanced towards Julian quickly.
Mine leaps forward and uses his right foot to kick Julian's head. However Julian used his left hand to fend off Mine's kick.
Mine didn't stop there, he landed and squatted down. He placed both of his palms on the sand and used both of his legs to kick Julian.
Simultaneously, Nimi who was inside the shadow of Mine immediately moved into Julian's shadow and out from behind his back. Nimi launches a double knife attack on Julian's back.
"Good!" shouts Julian.
Julian made the skin on his stomach and back into a dinosaur skin that was very hard so as not to be affected by the attack.
"Stop. The two of you have already developed, Mine can make another attack when his first attack is repelled. Then Nimi can immediately attack after switching shadows," said Julian.
"Thank you, Master!" nimi and Mine said in a happy tone.
As they were about to train again, they heard Claire's voice telling them to stop because it was time for lunch.
Claire cooked a dish of meat that was cut into small pieces. The four of them then ate lunch together voraciously.
...----------------...
They continued their journey after lunch. Today, it is late afternoon and the air temperature has begun to cool.
Julian thought he would stop the horse-drawn carriage here, but with his dinosaur eyes, he saw that there was a settlement ahead of him.
He immediately asked Claire, "Claire, did Count Raff ever say there was a settlement other than Chesa City nearby?"
Claire thought for a moment, "Hm, it doesn't seem to exist, Master. There's only Chesa Town around here."
"Then, what's in there?" Julian frowned.
Claire and the two demi-humans immediately followed Julian's gaze and they could also see that there was a settlement in front of them.
The settlement is similar to a village because the walls are wooden like from a dry tree around here.
"Master, do we need to check? I don't know why I felt something so unpleasant" Claire asked.
Julian nodded, "Yes, we'll check it out together. I also felt a less pleasant feeling from the direction of the village."
"Prepare your weapons and, as alert, there may be an attack when we get there" he added.
Claire and the two demi-humans nodded, they immediately held their respective weapons and hid inside the horse carriage.
Julian has also sharpened his five senses. He drove the horse-drawn carriage towards the village slowly.
A few minutes later, Julian was close to the village. In front of the wooden gate, there were two bald humans holding spears in each other's hands.
It seemed like the two bald people were the gatekeepers of the village. Julian immediately approached the two of them.
"Stop!" The bald bearded man shouted.
Julian frowned as he could feel the hostile tone of the bearded bald man, but he stopped his carriage anyway.
Julian showed a natural smile and said, "I am a merchant from Cronna City who just left from there."
"I actually want to go to Chesa City but it seems like I'm lost. I saw this village because who knows you're allowing me to stay over" he added.
"Trader? Well, whatever. You can change here on one condition" said the bearded bald man.
Julian raised his eyebrows and asked, "Terms? If you can tell, what's the condition?"
"You must give something as a sacrifice to the God Boldax!" replied the bald bearded man.
"God Boldax!? What do they mean is that goddamn Demon King?" inner Julian.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I don't have a lot of possessions because all the things on my carriage have been ordered" Julian said, pretending to be sorry.
"Hm? Then capture the animal or whatever else and give it to God Boldax when you get it, ' said the bald man with the beard..
"Well, I'll be right back." Julian nodded then drove his carriage away from the village.
Julian didn't go too far, and fearing that they would see him, Julian used earth magic to create a higher sand dune to cover the horse carriage.
"Master, what is the God Boldax..." Claire did not finish her words because there was no need.
Julian nodded, "Like they worship that damn Demon King and assume that he is their god."
"What's? Are they not heretics?" nimi.
"I did not expect that they worship the Demon King Boldax so blatantly here" Mine said.
"We are all surprised by that, I also already know there is a dark energy that is vague from inside the village, ah because it does not know the name of the village, let's call it a dark village," said Julian.
Claire touched her chin and said, "If Master can feel dark energy from there, it is certain that they worship Demon King Boldax."
"Do we have to kill them all?" Mine suggested something a little crazy.
"I agree with Mine!" Nimi instead supported Mine's suggestion.
Julian shook his head, "No, we can't act recklessly. Even though they're heretics, we can't kill them blindly."
"If the kingdom finds out about this, we may be held accountable for our actions even if we think logically our actions are not wrong."
"But well, all things must have their own rules, right? Our actions are not morally wrong but legally wrong."
Nimi and Mine soon realized that, they nodded and apologized for suggesting something risky.
"It's okay. Then next, are we going, or does anyone have any advice?" ask Julian.
They were silent for a moment, because there was nothing to be done about the dark village. They wanted to report it but they had no way.
In fact, they did not even have the magic tools Damian possessed to record events or scenes that could be used to record evidence.
"!!" Julian got out of the horse carriage and looked in a direction.
"What's up, Master?" Claire felt something serious.
"I sensed some strong people were approaching us, no, approaching the village" Julian said.
Since his five senses had already been sharpened, he could sense something strange from a great distance away from where he was standing.
And just now he sensed that there were some people who took out their mana and Julian could feel that they were strong.
The four of them waited for a while until it was seen that five people had appeared and each of them was riding a horse.
"!!" Julian widened his eyes.
"You may not believe it, but the five people there are heroes" Julian said.
"Hero!?" Claire and the two demi-humans shouted in surprise.
