“Pray.. “ Nek Umi advises me,” pray. Surrender yourself to God. Call it as much

“Believe in the will of God. The test was only man-made, hopefully something is wrong with that test book.” Nek Umi kept advising me. Nek Umi then taught me

After getting the answer from the family Bu Ustad. We're goin. Because Bu Ustad will also

leaving for the office, happened to be his journey one major with our return.

He continued to drive us but only reached his office on the road west side of Banda Aceh Grand Mosque, Baiturrhaman.

This is the path I saw three years ago on television. When a mother is in a hurry to climb

balcony of a shophouse. His face was very anxious followed by the sound of car horns behind him. Then there was water rising and people running. The more vehicles, the more traffic jams, and the more cars and motorcycles

piled. Then it accumulates more, followed by large water that gets bigger and bumpy. The waves were getting higher and blackened, tracing the road map. The tsunami finally came.

Sweeping and destroying all dreams with cries for help.

Bu Ustad dropped us off on that street. It passed shortly afterwards. The road is on the west side of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. The largest and most historic mosque in the whole land rencong. Me and Dad

crossing the road together towards the Grand Mosque, to the east. Dad's face was so anxious again. I held my wrist, led me. The handle wasn't to save me from a passing vehicle. But that grip is my pity to save my future. A father cannot give up for his son.

I walked in Dad's footsteps, carried a backpack and flanked a pillow we bought on

around Beurawe. Just for a moment we crossed the road but the crossing was long felt by the taste of the right. A sense that means the magnitude of the effort of the father to save his son who has been nineteen years he raised. His son's face was wet, gave up, and lost in the middle of the back and forth labi-labi to the road to the opposite side.

The road around the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque is crowded by vehicles compared to the streets

the road around Banda Aceh City is deserted because the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque stands in the heart of Banda Aceh City. The mosque was founded in 1612 AD in the heyday of Sultan Iskandar Muda. In 1873 the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque was burned down

depleted by the Dutch which resulted in the Acehnese people were furious at that time.

So in 1882 the Dutch governor general rebuilt the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque but only with one dome. It is this building that continues to be developed and renovated until now into a magnificent building in the center

The building around the Grand Mosque is still intact. These buildings are what fortify the Grand Mosque from the sweep of the Tsunami. The tsunami that passed through the road between the shophouses slowed down.

Current softens. Perhaps a miracle of God, many say so. Unlike the shophouses that are not far around the Grand Mosque,

a few blocks after. Some shops look like they have just finished renovations. Dad and I went around looking for a book called Ishihara from one store to another.

Dad hasn't given up yet. As hard as heart he survived to reach the mind that is now like a

the eggs are at the end of the race buffalo's horns, while the finish line is just a step away. But in that last step was a giant storm coming from the clouds

arriving. I began to hesitate to continue this step. There were only two options, going forward with me having to conquer the colorblind test or retreating by returning the village to Kampung Gunung Cry brought shame. I have to go forward.

My motivation right now is to save the oil company scholarship. I've won it. I graduated from the Medical School.

There are no major bookstores in Banda Aceh, as well as the Mall, of which there are only a few supermarkets with one company name. The bookshops we found were just houses

shops with one-story or two-storey trade titles. It is located between separate and far-flung bookstores. When we asked about ishihara's book in every

the bookstore does not exist. Even the shop other than the bookstore we had entered the answer was a headband, there was no such book. Finally my father and I returned to the Grand Mosque. We sat down and looked around at the people. We sat looking at the people passing by. We sat looking at ourselves.

The previously damaged Grand Mosque Tower has returned intact because the reconstruction of damaged buildings after the Tsunami was accelerated by a ministry-level body or State institution called BRR. The Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency of Aceh and Nias of North Sumatra was established on April 16, 2005. The body is responsible

A lot of help from abroad came. NGO, Non-Governmental Organization or in the sense of Indonesia is a non-governmental organization, foreign NGOs come to Banda Aceh, there are UNDP, USAID, LGSP, even UN agencies come. The NGOs brought in aid funds as well as foreign workers. So no wonder when traveling around the city we easily meet Japanese, Korean, American, and German people who are in the Aceh Market, Eating House, and even labi-labi.

Aceh is so diverse. There are those who say aceh is a touch of Arab, Chinese, European, and

Hindustani. There are many faces around us, the faces of NGOs, and the faces of NGO activists from various regions in Indonesia. Even when the Tsunami there are many soldiers from various parts of the world

provide evacuation assistance in various ways. And before the Tsunami there had been many soldiers with various ethnicities entering the rural villages of Aceh, Military Operation Area. Acehnese people have become accustomed to the presence of people with various faces.

My face and Dad's face are different emotions but the same in confusion. Dad pulled out the phone. He's a bad guy who uses technology. But I pressed the buttons

hadphone confidently from the numbers she saw on a piece of paper. Dad made an international call abroad, Malaysia.
