“Why not go yet?” grey asked softly, as if nothing had happened and he only ran because of Ivory's call.

“Please. Please listen to me just once and don't argue.”

Grey gripped Ivory's shoulder with a misty look. He almost cried in front of the woman.

“Please, leave Geogini immediately. I'll catch up to Denham after it's over.”

A promise that has no certainty. Grey can't be sure if he can or won't see Ivory after this.

“No. You're not doing anything wrong here. Just leave this place for a while, then—”
