Joy: A Hope's

Joy: A Hope's
Chapter 11: About Maturity

“Ohya, where's Mamak? Why not join?”

Finally the question was also thrown from Ari's lips. From then on it was about to be said, but was held back because of the sutau thing, not wanting to offend Eros.

Somewhat strangely, they gathered here without Santi, the most patient great woman Ari had ever met. Although happy because his family visited from the village, but without the presence of the mother of course still feels incomplete. Different taste.

The bustling atmosphere that filled the living room that also recaps into the dining room instantly turned silent. The chirping in Joy's mouth stopped. The teenager had just stuffed the rice and fried tempeh into his mouth.

While Eros-who had been eating-smoking at the door turned to Joy. The two men looked at each other.

That wasn't long ago. Eros looked away and again sipped a cigarette that had been taken away for a while. He seemed to be unconcerned by the question the eldest son asked, even though he was just answering.

Seeing the father's reaction, Joy became dazed. He did not know how to explain.

“Mamak can't come. No one's house is guarding he said. So he just tipped greetings with Bang Ari,” said Joy then reviewed a thin smile. A smile that looks forced.

Ari only ber-o-ria responded to the narration of the younger brother. The man looked down lethargic. In his silence, he chuckled unnoticed by the two people by his side. Greetings titip? That's not what Ari wanted. He just wanted to hug his mother and express his longing for his dear woman. But that's just wishful thinking. Because in reality, Santi is still the same figure as before. The only people in my heart and mind are Joy, Joy, and Joy. Beloved son.

After that, really awkward. Joy could only stare at her brother. Joy knew how her brother felt. He was once in that position, when Eros' attitude was like setting him up from Ari.

Joy doesn't know how to cheer Ari up. The teenager was about to come forward to embrace his brother and tell him that he should not be sad just because of it. My mom must have loved them both very much. The woman could not distinguish her children. Yes, although Joy must admit that the woman looks dominant more care and love him than Ari.

Ari rubbed the corner of her watery eyes. The man looked up to display a bright look on Joy who was now staring at him. Noticing the awkwardness he had accidentally just made, the young man instantly melted the atmosphere. Quickly switch the subject.

“Ah, Joy. Eat a lot so you can grow up fast. Look, your body is skinny once.” While thrusting the rice and dishes filled with side dishes in front of Joy, the man stood up. He had just caught up with Eros finishing his meal.

Joy sniffed not liking being skinny. Meksi is the fact. His appetite was immediately lost especially when he saw Ari's plate that was still left with food and was immediately left behind. For a moment, Joy was silent.

“Si skinny ngatain the skinny!” cibir Joy slowly. Ari had already passed to the multifunctional bathroom about to wash his hands, so the young man did not return his sneers.

The teenager immediately cleaned up the dirty dishes and took them to the wash. While rice was also a side dish they did not spend, Joy kept it on a table in the kitchen. It is carefully covered by a hood made of plastic.

The night is getting late. Cold air pierces the pores of the skin. The gripping atmosphere is occasionally made crowded by the noise of passing vehicles or just the howl of a night dog.

However, all that did not dampen the spirit of two men who continue to share stories without knowing the time. Based on a makeshift carpet-at least has driven the body from the cold tiles.

“So, the story tomorrow is already a SMK student, nih!” nosy Bang Ari, glanced at the witty juvenile lying right beside her.

While Eros who slept next to him Joy has been asleep since. Maybe the effects of exhaustion for the first time again to travel far especially at the age that is not as good as before.

Joy glanced at the father, then looked back at Ari completely. So, Joy's current position is flanked by her two great protectors, her father and brother.

A faint smile fell on Joy's lips. “Iya, dong,” the reply is carefree.

“That means, Joy is almost an adult,” continued Joy said optimistically.

Ari held back a laugh hearing her sister's last words. Adults, saying?

The young man raised one eyebrow upwards. “Yakin?”

And foolishly, Joy nodded confidently. “Yes, why? Bang Ari doubt?”

Lama Ari was silent, not directly responding to the question of his sister. Then, shake your head while commenting on a thin smile.

If you can be honest, Ari really likes the confidence of his sister. But one thing he should warn. Do not be too confident until you forget how to get down. It is too dangerous if suddenly the buffer collapses and falls into the deepest abyss.

“Yes, I believe in Joy. But Joy should know. Adults aren't as easy as what Joy thought. Adults are not defined by Joy's age. You have entered SMK, are 16 years old, does not have to mean you are an adult.” Ari gave a long explanation, as if he wanted to open up Joy's thoughts that turned out to be so narrow about maturity. It's good Ari taught about how someone who is worthy of being called an adult to his only sister early on.

“Said biology teacher Joy, someone is said to be an adult if it has gone through the stages of growth from infants to teenagers. The age limit of teenagers is 17 years, right, Bang?”

Again, Ari chuckles at the babbling of the younger brother who is clearly eager to defy his view of maturity.

The young man was a beard. His gaze was straight on the ceiling of the room.

“Yes, teacher Joy is not wrong. What he said is true. And that, physically mature definition.” Ari glanced at Joy and said that. A faint smile fell on his lips, exploring every inch of his sister's face that now seemed increasingly confused.

“Physical adult?” Joy muttered those three words, replied a nod by Ari.

The young man sighed. It feels a little tired defining about maturity in Joy. But that doesn't matter to Ari.

“Physical adult, not necessarily mature in terms of psychic, right?” One eyebrow Ari lifted again, trying to ask for an opinion from Joy.

Joy's face changed immediately. The confused frown on the forehead disappeared. The man pensively for a moment. Ari's words managed to make her mind slightly open.

“Iya, anyway. Age does not determine a person's maturity, but about how they deal with a problem.”

“Many parents sue their adult children. They are not aware that the way they treat the child does not reflect maturity.”

“Also many children out there are forced into adulthood by circumstances. They had to quit school and become street beggars to get their economic needs met.”

“Well, it's tau!” Ari.

The young man faced Ari again. His face turned cheerful one hundred and eighty degrees from before.

“Ari's bangs cool!” Joy praised with her admiration.

“Bang Ari that, loh.” Being praised like that makes Ari big head. Even the young man was already patting his chest proudly.

“Tak kirain Bang Ari stupid, it turns out pinter too,” connect Joy from ceplos.

The thing that made Ari immediately turned to look at the face of protest.

“Damn it!” his curse was only answered with a mild naughtiness by Joy.

It was made to float up to the seventh sky, then slammed again into the barren dry land without approx. It hurts so bad!

“Ohya, the girl next to the brother's boarding. Bang Ari knows his name?” Joy asked again after a short pause and only silence filled the two.

Ari who had closed her eyes earlier, but had not slept completely asked. “Why? You have a crush on him?”

Joy is straight. The teenager did not know what to answer. “Eng-not. Says who?!” he said sewot, his tone sounded stammered.

In silence, Ari held back a smile. “Rani. Name's Rani. He was friendly,” he said later.

Joy was just a beard as if she did not care about it. Though inversely proportional to his heart which is now flowery just by knowing the name of the beautiful girl.

“Already, sleeping.”

The muttering of someone sleeping beside Joy interrupted the chatter of the two men who started to creep everywhere. Eyes closed. Joy had no idea since when the man had listened to their chat. Did Eros secretly eavesdrop on his conversation?

“Joy, tomorrow's your first day of school. Watch out late!” sweat Eros again with a low tone of voice.

“I-iya, Sir.” Joy grimacing. Trying to close my eyes even though it was hard.
