Just More Time

Just More Time
Shopping

"You mean to assume that never happened? Very nice to say" Sesil upset.

Ouch.. Wrong again.

"Udah dong, please don't be angry. This is a little longer until Sil. What do you want to buy? Let me buy it" I tried to seduce him.

"Huh, I'm still upset. This time I'm going with Miska and Mery"

"Well, what the hell? Who am I the same? You want the same"

"Just like Erik kek, or who's the cake. There are many other friends Raka. I want to shop, shopping is good as a girl friend. Can be asked for an opinion. If I were you, you wouldn't know."

"Yes, yeah. You can shop with them. But be careful, don't go too far"

"Heemmm" Sesil just cleared his throat.

The bus stops at the Sukowati market parking lot. In an orderly manner all the students began to descend one by one. By the time I got out, there was Miska and Mery there.

"Come" said Sesil when aligning himself with his best friend. The three of them were very enthusiastic.

"Yaela Ka we're being beaten" Erik said complaining to me. "About want to shop it's just bebin directly so trio wekwek, really compact"

"Maha.." I chuckle. "If they become a trio of wekwek, you become the duck of Rik"

"And you danced Raka. It should have been on the beach you were practically rocking the rich trio of wekwek" Erik said as he demonstrated the dancing ducks.

I laughed again at my friend's stupid behavior. "Yes let's go, Aiisss is not cool, you're together again with you" I said.

"Don't you like both of you with me? We feel like a couple of lovers who knit love on the island of Bali" Erik rolled his eyes.

"I'm still normal Rik, you're right left so. You're all embattled" I said.

"Right left, right left, puter puter puter. Ahhaha.." Erik was going around, so silly. How could Miska like a strange man like Erik. His behavior until old age will not change this either.

"I wonder what Miska likes about you Rik? Strange people" Now we walk together, down the sellers in the market Sukowati.

"Everything, you are not sensitive to my charm Raka. My handsome face, my proportional body, not to mention my funny behavior. Which woman rejected my charm" Erik praised himself.

"Funny? you are weird, not funny. Haiisss.ck ck ck" I shook my head.

Erik and I are going through this Sukowati market. Seen a row of stalls lined with Balinese nuances. Various neatly hung trinkets, traditional crafts, beautiful paintings and much more are plastered on the roadside stalls. Domestic and foreign tourists have been busy passing by to see various crafts in the market, they are also busy doing bargaining activities that have become the hallmark of a market.

Erik and I started hunting for things to buy. We entered one of the shops in this market. I want to buy Mother, Father and Mba Rika something as souvenirs for them. Erik had been busy himself, sorting out and picking out items that caught his eye.

My choice fell on a light green negligee for Mom, a typical Balinese beach shirt with a picture of the beach and coconut trees adorning the shirt for Dad, and a pink beach sarong with a flower painting for Mba Rika. And I bought a pair of pants and a Balinese casual t-shirt.

"Rahajeng semengan Buy (Good morning brother)" said I use Balinese language.

"Rahajeng semengan (good morning)" the man replied with a friendly smile to the two of us.

"Aji kude niki? (How much is this?)" I said pointing at the cute cat-shaped keychain.

"Niki 10 thousand (this is 10 thousand)" replied the man.

"Dados kirang? (can it be less?)" I tried to bargain.

"White sampun, sawiren Buy nice genjing. Do you love 15 thousand kaleh? (Yes, because it's so handsome. I give 15 thousand two huh?)" said the man while smiling at me.

Aiisss my charms turned out to be good for older men too, hahahaha..

I took out 15 thousand money from my pants pocket and handed it to the middle-aged man "Satur suksma Buy (Thank you big brother)"

"Suksma mewali Bagus genjing (thanks again handsome)"

I happen to be a little good at Balinese. Because I like various arts from Bali including the language, therefore I learned a little from relatives of Mother who often visit my house. Two key chains are now in my hand. Until finally we passed a newspaper seller who was shouting to offer his merchandise.

"Morning newspaper, strange events in Bedugul lake, let's buy who wants to read" shouted the newspaper's seller who was reading the newspaper's main news tranding.

"Raka, isn't that the place we're going to?" asked Erik who also heard the screams from the newspaper seller.

"You're right Rik, I bought it first. I got curious" I said and quickly approached the newspaper seller.

"Aji kude niki? (How much is this?)" I want to buy a newspaper.

"Get rope (four thousand)"

I also gave a piece of money five thousand to the newspaper seller "Jemak gen susukne Buy (just take the change)" said I.

"Suksma temperature (thank you)" said the newspaper seller.

"Mewali (sama-sama)" I said as I passed by carrying the newspaper in my hand and walked towards Erik who was waiting.

I spread out the newspaper, and read it with Erik.
