Part 13 (Respair of Love)

Kanaya does not like the habit of Lee who always bare-chested when sleeping, she did not like it because she was worried that Lee caught a cold even though her husband had told her several times that he would not catch a cold or fever just because he took off his clothes while sleeping on the grounds of the weather in Indonesia is not as cold as Korea.

Yep. Kanaya knows that, even though she has never been to Korea but make no mistake, she almost knows everything about her husband's country of origin thanks to watching popular drama series.

Last night Kanaya slept separately with Lee. She sleeps in her room while her husband spends all night just playing games in her gaming room. Not really knowing the time, right? Sometimes Kanaya wants to ban Lee from playing games, but she is afraid that her husband is looking for other fun aka women's play. Nauzubillahi min zalik! Don't let that happen.

At midnight at about 03:00 Kanaya awoke after hearing the alarm attached to her phone ringing loudly. He got up from his bed and turned off the alarm and walked to the ablution place next to the bathroom. Then he took the ablution water there, immediately his drowsiness face became fresh and made him eager to perform the sunnah tahajud and hajat prayers of course.

Kanaya wore a mukena and then flicked her alphabet before placing the prayer mat on the floor of her clean room. After that Kanaya did the evening sunnah prayer solemnly'. Even so solemn'nya he was not aware that his tears dripping down his cheeks and face.

With both hands up, Kanaya offered prayers for the welfare of her household with Lee. "O Allah, forgive me, forgive all my iniquities, forgive the sins that my husband and I have committed, whether it be in the past, the present, or the future. O God, keep my husband's soul and body and his career and business from all kinds of dangers. Protect her wherever she sets her feet, I love her, O God. So please make him love me too. Surely you are the one who turns your heart upside down... Aamiin's."

Finished praying Kanaya rubbed her face with both hands. He also removed the remains of tears that had flowed down his cheeks. Then he took off his face and hung it in a special closet prayer device.

After that Kanaya took the initiative to check on her husband. He went to Lee's gaming room next door to their room. Arriving in front of Lee's gaming room, his clasped hand slowly turned the door knob of the room and opened it.

Turns out Lee no longer plays the game, her husband fell asleep in the chair, as usual she shirtless. Kanaya took a deep breath and moved her legs closer to Lee. Then she took her husband's pajamas lying on the table next to her PS 5.

With great care Kanaya put the pajamas on Lee's body, fortunately the man fell asleep well enough that he only squirmed as Kanaya buttoned his pajamas.

"Aisha, I let you marry your ex-husband, but why do I regret it now... Even after I have a wife." Lee was delirious so long and clear that Kanaya's brain was able to record her husband's honest expression well, at which point her heart was numb. But this time he did not cry because his tears could not come out, maybe he was bored.

Kanaya gently stroked Lee's smooth cheeks, until now she still did not believe she could do it. She used to think there was no way she could marry the man who had been her husband for two years. Because the man always thought of her as a sister, she was never considered a woman in Lee's eyes, maybe until now too. The proof is that Lee still loves Aisyah, a woman who once wanted to be his wife.

Kanaya's lentic fingers stroked Lee's brownish mane and then pushed it aside so that the mane did not cover Lee's handsome face. While sleeping, Lee's face was so innocent like a baby that it made Kanaya seem drugged. Her heart and memory automatically erased one by one the bad memories of her husband.

"Sometimes I think, what has kept me going for these two years? Now I find the reason. I persevered because I didn't want to stop wishing, even though my hope always ended in disappointment when you said her name so heartily as before." Kanaya reveals her heart.

"Either till when will I continue to wait for you, Mas. Whether until when you open your heart and start with me, as a faithful wife I can only wait, try to understand, and then wait again" Kanaya said, holding back the pain that gnawed at her heart.

"If one day I feel tired, let me go for a moment. Don't worry, I will definitely return after successfully gathering the strength of my heart. I'm not leaving you, I'm just taking a break from the tiredness of a long wait that's somehow ended." After saying that Kanaya left Lee's gaming room, picked up a blanket in the room and returned to cover her husband.

"May the subconscious not constantly deceive you by presenting it in your dreams." Kanaya whispered in front of Lee's ear and carefully kissed her husband's cheek for fear of waking him up. "Good evening before morning, Mas David," he continued before returning to his room and continuing his sleep.

Kanaya who was washing the dishes used to eat they both turned their heads and nodded with a smile.

"Hot tofu! I've said many times with you, I don't like to sleep in pajamas or any clothes!" lee protested while stirring his chocolate milk.

Kanaya approached Lee and sat down next to the man. "Mas, your gaming room will be air-conditioned, and the air is very cold like not usually. Because I don't want you to catch a cold, so I'm wearing your pajamas with a blanket" Kanaya said softly.

Lee's annoyed expression instantly disappeared, replaced with his sweet smile. "Thank you, I care a lot about me" he said dedicatedly to Kanaya. Kanaya just smiled in response to her husband's words.

"Naya, how about we go for a walk today?" lee's suggestion was unexpected.

Kanaya knitted her eyebrows together, wondering why Lee suddenly wanted to take her for a walk. Even though the DSL beauty care aka the company owned by her husband is processing a massive new skincare products. Lee should be busy in his company, right? But why take him for a walk? There must be something.

"Where are you going?" kanaya asked curiously.

"To Ancol continue to the beautiful cottage, you want?"

"You, but there's a condition."

"What's the condition?" lee asked as he clasped Kanaya's hand.

"You can't stay away from me, you know I have agoraphobia?"

"Dear I know" said Lee.
