Part 38 | Meaningless Explanation

"Beres .. I have entered your mobile number into the Al-Anshar assembly group, so that you know the study schedule at any time."

"Thank you," said Kanaya with a makeshift smile.

Kanaya turned her head and tried to let go of Lee's hand which blocked her arm tightly. Then he looked at the face of the man who often made him nelangsa with a tired look.

"I don't want to hear anything from you anymore, let's go home!" Hearing Kanaya's cold tone of voice while talking to her made Lee feel so unsettled.

"But I want to tell you the truth is the same as you! Naya, who is not the truth, I'm not cheating, I just drove Georgina to her apartment and took a flight to Jakarta, that's why I immediately looked for you here," obviously Lee with honesty that was evident in his eyes.

"Please trust me" he added in a half-desperate tone.

"Why do you have to take her to her apartment, Mas? Why?!" kanaya asked with an emotional look. Lee was silent as he looked at Kanaya, listening to his wife who was venting her anger with regret in the chest.

"You don't realize that he's your ex-lover and you're a public figure, a lot of eyes watching you, Mas!"

Avila was shocked to see Kanaya coming to her house in tears. Without asking anything, he hugged his sister-in-law tightly, he rubbed his back lovingly. Then he led Kanaya into his house.

After that Avila let Kanaya sit on her living room sofa while she herself went to the kitchen to brew warm tea, hoping that the drink could help improve Kanaya's mood that was not good.

"Drink tea first, huh?" avila's bargain sounds more like an enticement.

Kanaya nodded, then received the tea that her sister-in-law offered. "False, Brother. Sorry ngerepotin," he chirped with a raucous voice, the effect of sobbing.

"No nicotine at all, really" said Avila as she stroked Kanaya's shoulder gently.

A few minutes later Kanaya stopped crying, after feeling quite calm, Avila ventured to ask her sister-in-law's problem carefully. "What's up, Nay? Why are you crying like that?"

"Are you really just tired? Not fighting with Lee?" ask Avila who understands that the Kanaya household is not as smooth as other husband and wife households.

"Not really," replied Kanaya gamang. Then, Avila also felt awkward with the answer of her sister-in-law.

"Don't lie to Big Brother, I'm guessing Brother, you're fighting with Lee again, aren't you?"

Kanaya finally nodded, admitting that she and Lee were not okay. "I'm tired, brother. Can I rest here for the next few days?"

Avila could see the wound from Kanaya's sad gaze, then she nodded, a sign that she allowed Kanaya to stay for a few days at her house.

"Of course, baby. You can rest in this house for as long as you want, the door of this house will always be open for you," said Avila while embracing the shoulder of Kanaya who was in need of attention from him.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

The sound of the door being knocked in a hurry by someone out there made Avila have to let go of her embrace to open the door. As expected, the next guest came was Lee.

"Assalamualaikum," Lee said with hunting breath, it looks like the man ran out.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," replied Avila with an unfriendly face aka jutek. He was very upset with Lee who often made his sister-in-law cry.

"Is Kanaya here?" lee asked as he looked inside Avila and Robbie's house.

"No, look somewhere else!" avila answered.

Lee scrunched his forehead unsure. "Don't hide her from me, Vi. I need to clear up the misunderstanding between me and him" Lee said half-begged.

"Yes, then go in, but beware that if you even cloud his mind, I make sure you go home with a name!" threaten Avila with a gaze as sharp as the eyes of an eagle.

"Don't worry, I'll solve my problems with Kanaya well," Lee who was later allowed into Avila and Robbie's house.

Fortunately Robbie was not home, if anything, somehow fate Lee. The South Korean man may have been battered first because of hurting the feelings of his favorite sister, Kanaya.

"Darling, I'm sorry" Lee said in front of a reluctant Kanaya looking at her face. Feeling his apology ignored, Lee did not give up, he knelt in front of Kanaya who was sitting on the sofa, then he held his wife's soft hand and kissed her long enough.

"Please, force me, I know this is my mistake, baby. Therefore, I ask you to forgive my mistake, I promise I will try not to repeat it again, I promise," Lee persuaded as he continued to watch Kanaya's face continue to look the other way.

"Do you hear me, baby?" lee asked while holding tightness in his chest as a result of being ignored by Kanaya.

"I'm tired, can you stop apologizing like that? Give me time to grasp my thoughts and feelings, do you understand what I mean?"

"Okey, okay. I'll shut up, but I beg you, go home with me right now. I don't want us to be separated in this situation, Nay. I'm afraid every time I look next to me there's no you, I'm afraid of losing you, Nay." Lee's voice raucous as it revealed his heart, the man almost cried in front of his wife.

Then without the ba-bi-bu Kanaya directly responding to Lee's request, "Okay, let's go home. But don't assume our problems are over here, ma'am." A relieved smile slowly surfaced on Lee's lips, spontaneously hugging Kanaya even though her wife was still rebelling in his arms.
