Part 46 | Don't Stop Me Going

"What the hell is this?" nek Yuna asked in a worried tone to see her granddaughter and granddaughter-in-law keeping quiet with a flat expression.

"No papa Nek, we are just a fuss about my return to Indonesia," replied Kanaya who was forced to lie because she could not bring Grandma Lee into her complicated household affairs.

"Lho's? You want to go home, baby?" a shocked expression appeared on that wrinkled face.

"Yes Nek, that's why Lee got me," Kanaya replied. In his heart he felt guilty, but he did plan to return to Indonesia even though he had not discussed it with Lee.

"Aren't you at home here?" nek Yuna asked sadly. He had just met his son-in-law's granddaughter, had to split up and might not be able to meet in the near future.

The clear water instantly pooled in Kanaya's eyes, he could not bear to see Nek Yuna was sad. Near him the old woman and hugged him tightly, it felt warm to the bottom of the heart.

Kanaya stood up and walked out of the house looking for her husband's whereabouts. Apparently Lee was lying on the grass of the garden around him planted roses by his grandmother. The man looked pitiful with tears on his cheeks.

With heavy steps Kanaya approached, she also laid her body beside Lee without noticing her husband's reaction. His clear eyes glared upwards, staring at the moon who seemed unhappy to see them fighting.

"We're both tired, Mom."

Lee immediately turned his head to face Kanaya, looking at his wife's face with a dislike look. "What do you mean by that?"

"I mean we both need time to rest, Mom. Break from all the things that make us tired of living this household."

"I'M NOT TIRED, Nay! NOPE! As long as I live it with you I will never be tired!"

"But I'm tired, Mom! I'm tired! Two years, Mom. You tormented me, forgave you I did. But forgetting the pain is not as easy as you think! Not to mention now the problems keep coming. I'm really tired, Mom."

Instead of answering, Kanaya just kept silent. His eyes silently scoured into Lee's eyes that were as bright as a stone covered in gold ink. Trying to find a secret that is still hidden from him, but he failed to find.

"Nay, I'm sure you can still, we both can definitely get through all the obstacles in our marriage."

"I used to believe those words, but lately I'm starting to doubt them. Maybe because I'm so tired."

"I'm sure you can, Mom. We will only rest for some time, let us feel and equally know how to solve the problems that exist in our household."

"I promise I will soon find out and fix the problem," Lee vowed as he tightened his embrace.

After saying goodbye to Nek Yuna, Kanaya went to the airport to be escorted by Lee. On the way to Incheon International Airport, Kanaya and Lee decided to keep quiet. Because it is difficult to open a normal conversation at the time of separation is already on the verge of their eyes.
