Chapter 11 - Mama Kirana's Disease

At home, Queen is being looked at by her parents. They glazed over to see the state of their daughter who looked increasingly thin. Dark circles under his eyes also adorn the always sad face, making his parents know that their daughter rarely sleeps.

"Son, aren't you sleeping well?" Ask her mother by gently rubbing the princess's face.

"How am I supposed to sleep so well, Ma? Just imagining my life, it always makes me unsettled." Queen replied, she looked at her parents with sadness.

"We just go home, okay? We're going abroad."

"No need Ma, Mas Jeff has hired the best doctor to treat me. Mama doesn't have to worry. Jeff took good care of me." Queen replied, the woman commented on her sweet smile. Hearing that made the tears of his parents shed, how patient Jeffran took care of their daughter who was sick for the past 1 year.

"Son, what if Jeffran turns away?" Queen's mother asked, making the woman stare at her mother wryly. Although not willing, but he should be able to let go if someday it happens.

"He's a loyal man Ma, it's impossible to do such a thing." Queen answered, trying to treat her own heartbreak, though in her heart she felt fear as well.

"It doesn't rule out the possibility of Queen, Jeff being the perfect guy, he's also normal and lustful." Her mother stared slowly at Queen's hair getting thinner, because of the loss due to chemotherapy she was undergoing.

"If it happens, I know enough. What should I do besides let go?" Queen asked softly, the woman looked tough, even though her gaze looked sad.

"You must be strong, son, may there be a miracle you can heal as you always have."

"Yes Ma, I hope so." Queen answered, smiling sweetly, trying to show her parents that she was okay. In her heart she was crying.

He did not show his weakness in front of his parents, he did not want to make his parents worried about the condition and state of his household that began to falter. 

Is it wrong that she suspects her husband? A wife's premonition knows the change in her husband's attitude. Some days Danish also looks flatter than usual, he wants to invite Jeff to talk to his four eyes, saying all his complaints to the husband. 

However, the man looked like he was avoiding her, more precisely after that morning, when he asked for the thing that should have been his duty, but Jeff immediately left when he got a call from his secretary.

Her husband did mention Kirana several times, she talked about that the woman worked so hard to handle two jobs at once, assistant and secretary as well. But he had never met this figure named Kirana.

At the office, Kirana still accompanies Jeff to a meal. So, that lunch was not Kirana but Jeff. The man was so voraciously eating his cooking, making Kirana wonder because after his boss it always upholds health with a healthy eating style. Only vegetables or fruit, if the morning only two pieces of bread smeared with chocolate jam and a glass of soy milk, if you eat rice the man chose brown rice, brown rice, because the carbo is lower than white rice. It was very different from Kirana who felt she had not eaten if she had not eaten rice.

Until the sound of the phone ringing makes Kirana jumped, even though that sounded her own phone.

"Thank you Kiran, be noisy!" Jeffran's order, made Kirana immediately raise the call. Apparently from his neighbors, I don't know what he called this afternoon.

"Kiran, your mother fainted. I think his illness is relapsing, so I'm taking him to the hospital. You're here, aren't you?" Even the atmosphere across the phone sounded boisterous.

"Which hospital, bi? Kirana's there now!" The person called Aunt Kirana mentioned the hospital address and Kirana immediately prepared to leave.

"What's up Kiran? You look panicked." Jeffran asked, upon seeing his secretary panic.

"My mother passed out sir, I have to go to the hospital now." Kirana said, making Jeff who was eating come surprised.

"I'm taking it."

"No need sir, I can take a taxi. Excuse me first, just keep it on the table." Kirana said then left in front of Jeff by walking around, in a hurry.

"May you be okay, my God.." Kirana muttered, she stood by the side of the road while stopping public transportation, but unfortunately it was all full.

"How about this, ahh sucks! Fitting in needin gini, suddenly it's hard." Kirana said she was upset because she had been here for almost 15 minutes, but had not yet gotten a public vehicle to take her to the hospital.

Until soon a black sedan car stopped right in front of him, someone bent his head.

"still here? I told you I'd take you, ayoo come in." Jeffran said, making Kirana inevitably have to accept a ride from her boss.

"Okay sir, thank you." Kirana answered and got into the car. The car drove through the streets that began to be crowded because the lunch hour was finished.

"What hospital?" Ask Jeff while focusing on driving.

"Hospital xxx lord." Jeff nodded in understanding, he drove his four-wheeled vehicle at a fairly high speed.
