Chapter 21 - The Lizard

"Darling.." Sapa Jeff as he entered his room, he saw the wife drawing with her tablet.

"Mas, just got home?"

"Yes, honey. I'm so tired, I want to be in the incandescent." Said Jeff spoiled.

"Come here, Mum." Jeff approached and lay his head on Queen's thigh, the woman's wiggle gently on her husband's forehead.

"Your massage is always good, baby." Praise Jeff, he's peeping his wife's forehead.

Queen smiled faintly as she smelled something from her husband. Yes, her husband's scent is not as usual, as there are other smells.

"You haven't had a bath, have you?" 

"Yet, why?" Jeff asked casually, but in his own heart he was confused, worried that Kirana was suspicious. In fact, the woman was suspicious of her husband.

"You're different, Mas. Not as usual."

Jeff pretended to sniff his body, as well as his armpits.

"No, maybe it's 'cause I haven't had a bath, baby." The man gave up. Though he himself knew that the scent of Kirana perfume still stuck in his body.

"Then take a shower, Mom." Said Queen, Jeff nodded and immediately went to the bathroom, leaving the Queen desperately holding back the tightness in her chest.

'Could you have turned your back? Which woman can make you turn?' Inner Queen, she wanted to cry but what would Jeff think? He just needs to act like normal.

Although her heart was filled with prejudice against her husband, but she did not have evidence, did she not have to believe her husband?

"I believe my husband's a loyal man, he wouldn't do anything like that." Queen muttered, with all her might reassuring her heart.

Before long, Jeff was out with a towel wrapped around his waist to his knees. Both of Queen's eyes bought when she saw the scars on her husband's back, as well as a reddish mark on his neck. It's not a mosquito bite, it's a dracula. Yes, dracula.

"Mas, what marks are on your neck?" Queen asked, wondering what answer her husband would give her.

"Strong? What's the old baby?" Jeff asked while groping his neck.

"Mind me, Mum." According to Jeff, he set himself in front of the mirror. Her eyes bulged as she looked at the former incense stick on her neck, this must be Kirana who did her, but when? Surprisingly enough, he didn't realize when the woman gave him the red mark.

'What reason would you give me? I obviously know what that ex is?' Inner Queen, she smiled wryly when she saw her husband look surprised.

"It's in the bite of a lizard darling." Jeffran replied.

"A lizard? Where were you bitten? It's best to check it out, afraid the lizard is venomous." Queen fishing rod with a made-up face mimic.

"Yes, tomorrow I'll check, baby, today we have a lunch meeting with the client."

"Yes, where did you sleep last night?" Queen asked, making Jeff's heart feel stopped beating instantly.

"Sleeping in the hotel dear, because it's already too lazy if you want to go home." Jeff answered reasoned. It's not entirely a lie, because last night he did sleep in a hotel, but with Kirana.

"Ohh well Mas, next time if you don't get home, so I won't wait."

"Dear, I'm wearing clothes first." Jeff said, he also left the Queen in a hurry.

'Mas, I know you're lying. If you're not honest, I'll figure it out myself.' Inner Queen, stared at the locker room door that had just been covered with nanar.

"Mas, what perfume?"

"Ordinary perfume, why baby?"

"I know, but why wear it so much?" Queen asked again, because the aroma is very strong, is it possible that her husband wears a bottle of perfume?

"So spilled that, so his gini." Jeff replied, today he has to give his wife a lot of reasons that he corals. Whether it makes sense or not, the important thing is that his wife believes.

"Did the doctor say?"

"Don't you last night talk to Doctor Juna?"

"Well, you better hurry before it's too late."

"Dear, go first." Jeff kissed Queen's forehead and left the room.

Queen stared at the departure of the husband with a roaring heart, logically where did anyone meet a client with a perfume that strong? Very suspicious! 

Not to mention the scratch marks and reddish marks on her husband's neck made her suspicious, in the bite of a lizard he said? Where's the lizard from? Logically, her husband was always in a clean, well-groomed room, so where did the lizard come from? Dumfound.

"You're not good at lying, Mom!"

At the hospital, Kirana is meeting with a doctor who yesterday took care of her mother's surgery.

"So, how's my mom doing Doc?"

"The operation went well, but Miss's mother is still unconscious." The doctor replied, his eyes kept staring at Kirana who looked beautiful today.

"But my mother can recover, can't she, Doc?"

"The disease is severe enough, to heal a total of only 5."

"That little, doc?"

"Mother Miss is late to handle, also the schedule of dialysis that must be done once a month, ngaret so 3 months. It's worsening his illness, miss." 

"Yes, I know and it's my fault, doc." Kirana said softly, if only she was able, surely she would do it every month. But, what do you want to say? His salary is only able to buy drugs and daily necessities, if for dialysis and chemotherapy, Kirana usually sets aside first, after being collected then he can bring his mother to treatment.

But the circumstances were quite difficult, not to mention the loan shark who almost every day came to his house to collect debts, it became a burden for Kirana.
