Chapter 22 - Short But Full of Memories

"Is it really too late now, Doc?"

"There is still a chance Miss, we wait for the results of this operation first, after Miss's mother realized later."

"Okay doc, thanks for the explanation. Then excuse me first," Kirana prepared to leave the doctor's room. The young doctor's gaze was quite uncomfortable.

"Miss should leave a mobile number, so that I can easily contact if Miss's mother has any developments."

"Oh yes Doc." Kirana answered, she grabbed a piece of paper and pen from the doctor's hand, she wrote down her mobile number.

"It's doc."

"What name of Miss? If I could know."

"Kirana Andriana Dok, just call Kirana or Kiran."

"Alright Miss, you can go."

"Yes doc, I'm sorry." Kirana also left the doctor's room, she walked down the hallway of the hospital that felt quiet, even though the day was enough day to move.

"Aahh, I haven't paid off Mom's operating expenses." Kirana muttered, she quickly walked over to the administration section.

"Sus, bill on behalf of Nita's mother." Kirana lirih.

"Attent, Miss." The nurse opened several files and checked them one by one.

"Good, sus." Kirana replied, she was nervous. About how much he had to pay.

"His final total is 195 million Miss, that includes VIP rooms and intensive care." Her reply, made Kirana rub her chest. At least the information given by the sisters at that time missed.

"It's Sus.." Kirana gives her ATM card, with this paid off already, though she exchanges her for her chastity. Just pay off the debt left by his father to the loan shark, after which he only had to think about further treatment for the mother.

Kirana received the card and left, she was hungry because she had not had breakfast. But, Kirana wanted to see first the state of her mother.

She opened the door of her Mother's ward slowly, Kirana sitting on the available chair beside the gurney.

Kirana clasped her mother's wrinkled hand, rubbed the back of her hand gently, then kissed her affectionately.

In the office, Jeff had just finished his meeting alone without Kirana, although there was nothing lacking, but he had to remain professional. Because her secretary was allowed a few days leave to keep her mother who, according to the news, was still unconscious after the operation.

Jeff leaned his head on his greatness chair, as a CEO his work never runs out, which there is even more and more each day. The man massaged his throbbing temple, far away from Kirana making his mood deteriorate.

"Kirana, you're making me dizzy!" Mumbled her, then stood up from her sitting and went out of her room.

Jeff walks into the parking lot, calls the office driver to drive him somewhere. He is lazy to drive himself in the midst of his mood that is deteriorating at this time, so he uses office drivers who are always ready to take him anywhere.

"Road Sir." Jeff orders with his flat face.

"Good sir." The car drove away from the office. Jeffran pulled out his cell phone, he looked at the picture of the wife first. Very different from his current situation. In the past, Queen was the most beautiful woman he managed to conquer, a woman with a million beauties made Jeff interested.

How not, her beautiful face, her body goals like a model, also a career woman. Very worthy of his company, every meeting with clients must praise the appearance of Queen who always look perfect.

But all that was gone when he found out that he was not the only man who filled the emptiness of the woman's heart, there was another man who first filled the Queen's heart.

Her love for Queen had indeed diminished, even before Kirana came into her life. However, Jeff is not a heartless man, although never in disappointment, but he remains patient and accompanies Queen in her bad times by putting aside his disappointment towards Queen.

"Where are we, sir?" Ask the driver, make Jeff's daydreams scatter instantly.

"Morning Sunday, turn right and stop."

"Good sir." The driver replied, leaving Jeff in a daydream that made his chest feel tight.

After a few minutes, the car finally stopped as directed by Jeff. The handsome man came down and walked leisurely, down the quiet streets that were grown by green tea plants. The cool air calms, making her able to breathe comfortably here.

This is where he first met the Queen. It had just finished reviewing the construction project, but the car broke down here. It so happened that Queen's car passed by, after entertaining herself by taking a walk in the garden after being tired of work.

They get acquainted and Queen offers a ride, Jeff accepts her happily, since then the two become familiar and establish a relationship, and only a few months away, Jeff decided to directly propose to Queen to be his wife, but having a beautiful wife turned out to be very uncomfortable. His wife is always the center of attention when with her, making her uncomfortable.

The story of their meeting was too short, yet full of memories. Sweet memories that Jeff will always remember, but when he wanted to disappoint Queen, made Jeff upset himself.

Jeff exhaled his coarse breath, then went back for a walk around the tea garden, staring at the vast expanse of green tea plants that stretched throughout the eye of the beholder.
