Chapter 34 - Jeffran's Attitudes

After buying a hairpin for Kirana, Jeff also invited his secretary to return to the office, there are still some important meetings that he must attend with Kirana. It is not taboo anymore, if the existence of Kirana makes her work spirit.

"Sir, didn't you buy something for Madam?" Kirana asked, making Jeff look over.

"What?"

"Jewelry is possible." Kirana replied guessing, she knows what kind of stuff her boss's wife likes, but Jeff himself instead asked her, not her husband right?

"Queen doesn't like that kind of stuff, Kiran. He prefers bags or branded shoes, but where do you want to wear them? It comes out rarely." Answer Jeff.

"Don't you, sir, it's still a process. Who knows if the madam can make a full recovery."

"I'm bored, Kiran!"

"Bored?" Ask Kiran.

"Yes, I'm tired of waiting for Kirana. I wanted to be welcomed back home from work, served like a husband, but I never got it while I was married to Queen."

Kirana chose silence, she was afraid of mispronouncing. Could he be the ingredients of the hungry lion rampage, he starved for inner satisfaction right?

"Why silence, Kiran?"

"Just think about my mother's situation, sir."

"You're going to the hospital first, see how he's doing?" Ask Jeff.

"Can?"

"Of course, we can get there before we go to the office." Answer Jeff. Kirana nodded her head quickly.

"Sir, we go to the hospital first."

"Good sir." Said Mr. Amar. Jeff grabbed Kirana's hand and clasped her, what's the matter with that man? Why always hold his hand, what is his new hobby? Only Jeff knows.

"Kirana, do you want to live in an apartment?"

"You mean?"

"I have an empty, uninhabited apartment unit, do you want to live there?" Ask Jeff.

"Then my mother and my house how? Don't be silly, sir!"

"Who did you say was ridiculous, Kiran? It's very brave."

"Sorry sir." Kirana lirih.

"So you don't want to, Kiran?"

"No, I'll stay in my own house." Answer Kirana.

"All right, it's up to you."

The car that Kirana and Jeff were riding stopped in the hospital parking lot, the two men got off leaving Mr. Amar alone in the car.

"When you look around, the Master and the Secretary are like an ideal couple." Mumbled Mr. Amar, but he hurriedly closed his mouth because he had spoken wrongly.

"Mr Jeff has a wife, huh how am I." Say it while condemning his stupidity that says Jeff and Kirana are a compatible couple.

Jeffran and Kirana enter Nita's mother's room, coincidentally the doctor has just finished checking on Nita's mother.

"Siang doc.." greeted Kirana with his friendly smile.

"Siang is back, Miss,"

"How's my mom doing, doc?" Ask Kirana.

"There's still no significant development Miss, it's still like yesterday."

"Will my mother be aware doc?"

"It's probably a little miss, it could be hours, days, months or years." Answer the doctor.

"Miss can come with me for a minute?" Ask the doctor.

"For what? Kirana's still in the office hours." Jeff replied in a tinge.

"What's important Doc?"

"Eemmm, no. Just bring dinner." The doctor replied relaxed.

"Can't! Kirana will be with me at the party, you better not come close to my Kirana!" Strictly Jeff, his neck veins stiffened the sign that the man was angry.

"Sir, what's wrong? Don't be so angry."

"Sorry Doc, I have to get back to work. Excuse me.." Kirana pulls Jeff's hand before it's too late. Kirana was worried that the man was angry here, could have his business.

"I don't like you being around that doctor, Kiran!"

"Why is that why, sir? I'm a single woman." Kirana answered, whether consciously or not her answer made Jeff emotional.

"Then what do you think of me, Kiran?"

"Huh? My boss is in the office." Kirana replied seriously, the man's time didn't know.

"You're such a bitch, watch out for you later." The man replied in a poignant tone, he also turned his face away, just like a sulking girl. Kirana reflexes holding her nape, she suddenly goosebumps.

Jeffran pulls Kirana's hand and takes her into the car. He clasped her hand tightly, making her grimace.

"Master, sick.."

"Shut up!" Jeff replied firmly, making Kirana understand that the man was upset, but because of what? It is impossible because the answer was right, it is true that she is a single woman, alias has not had a partner let alone a family, then the location of her mistake where?

Kirana turned her gaze towards the car window, she was cool to see the city scenery that was never quiet, always crowded in vehicles, making the streets crowded.

"Kira.."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Didn't you like me? As a man, not a superior." Jeff asked, making Kirana wail.

"Why ask like that, I can't possibly like a married man." Kirana answered, making Jeff shut up. He must be aware that his status is indeed a married man. But it seems like Jeff is rejecting that status, he is instead pursuing his secretary's love.

"Are I in your heart, Kiran?"

"Don't ask me anything unimportant sir, don't make me feel more guilty."

"Wrong by what?" Ask Jeff.

"Because of betraying your wife, don't you feel guilty after committing the wrong deed by betraying her trust?"

"Where is it? I'm a normal guy who needs the satisfaction of desire and Queen can't give it, but you can Kiran."

"Sorry sir, don't bring this up again." Kirana said, she felt tired of Jeff's question that made her feel guilty.

"Did my question burden you?"

"Very!" Answer Kirana briefly. Slowly, Jeff's hand loosened and just then, Kirana immediately pulled her hand. Being around Jeff always makes him feel bad.

Along the way there was only silence that accompanied their journey to the office, both of them were busy with their respective thoughts, making the driver astonished by the silent action-at-home of the two people in the back bench.

"Sorry, Sir. It's arrived.."

Jeff and Kirana get out of the car, without a word Jeff runs quickly leaving Kirana who is still cleaning the files in his hands. The woman followed Jeff, though she was far behind.

"The man was suddenly angry, suddenly possessive, very strange." Kirana muttered while walking.
