21. MADMAN

"Let our fathers begin our work. Today that is harvested from here to here, and from here to here huh." Mr. Samsudin gave the command. Everything moves according to Mr. Samsudin's instructions. Mr. Samsudin himself had a dialogue first with Garut Boss. Then I saw them shake hands, maybe the deal was already a deal. Randi and I stood waiting, looking at the readiness of the fathers.

"So how did you even first get here anyway Ran, whereas on the road earlier you did not seem to precede me."

"Yes, I don't know me either. Suddenly it's just."

"Maybe the route to get here many times yes."

"Well, it could be tuh."

Mr. Samsudin approached us.

"Come, Boss. We home. Long time to wait until it's over."

"O is that right, sir?"

"Can Wil ask you something, sir?"

"Come, let's ask what?"

"The grave of Mr Sugianto where is it, sir? Me and Randi want to make a pilgrimage."

"Oh, let's get us. There, next to the garden by the roadside."

"Mang Jana, Mang Ijar, take the boss to the grave of Boss Sugi ya." Mr. Samsudin called Mang Jana and Mang Ijar.

"Yes, sir." Mang Jana and Mang Ijar immediately prepared their bikes.

"Let's see you there, boss." Me and Randi were brought back by Mang Jana and Mang Ijar. We leave first. Mr. Samsudin said it would follow.

This time the speed of the Mang Jana and Mang Ijar motorcycles went hand in hand. Slowly as when I left. It's just that the road we went through was different from the road I went through before. Arriving at the highway, Mang Jana was rather speeding. Ijar is the same. Shortly after, we arrived. Mang Jana and Mang Ijar stopped the bike, then parked their bike in the garden area.

"That's the boss, the family graveyard area. The grave of Boss Sugi over there. Let's go there" We followed Mang Jana and Mang Ijar to the location of the grave which was only a few tens of meters in front of us.

We just got to the cemetery, when I saw Mr. Samsudin's motorbike coming. He parked his motorbike near Mang Jana motorbike and Mang Ijar motorbike. Mr. Samsudin walked up to us.

"Only the graves of Boss Sugi are here. It was prepared for the family grave." Obviously Mr. Samsudin. This grave is so well-preserved, clean. Though there are in the surrounding land so lush planted with corn trees. The corn is already big. Maybe this is what Mr. Samsudin said yesterday is ready for harvest.

"Let's do it first yuk." We were crouching around the cemetery. Mr. Samsudin leads the do'a.

Finished praying, we prepared to go home. Formation as usual. I'm with Mang Jana. Randi with Mang Ijar, Mr. Samsudin himself. Mr. Samsudin said he wanted to have business first, so did not go home immediately.

"Oh, boss. What time is it?" Mang Jana was suddenly like a shock, as if remembering something. Randi took out his HP, ascertaining what time it was.

"09.30, Mang."

" Oh, thank God."

"Why, Mang?" I became curious about Mang Jana's expression.

"That, this morning Mr. Samsudin ordered, at ten must take food from home. But sepet ko. From here to the house at least fifteen minutes." Oh gosh. I even forgot Mak's message to Mr. Samsudin this morning.

"Come on." Mang Ijar ready to go.

Thank God that I and Mang Jana have reached the gate of the house, Randi has even reached the courtyard of the house. When Mang Jana's motorbike entered the gate, I accidentally saw the saung where I was when the baby was found. I saw someone sitting there. Clothes shabby. Face glum. His eyes were unfocused, looking left, right, front, back. The man repeatedly did the same thing. It looks like looking for something.

"Whose saung is that in whose saung?" I asked Mang Jana when I got off the bike. I'm curious. Who knows Mang Jana knows. Mang Jana tried to pay attention to the saung from the courtyard of the house, but it was less clear. Mang Jana finally walked towards the gate of the house. I followed.

"Hey, let's go out. Not in there. Basic habits. Come on over here." Mang Jana approached the man. The approachable remains engrossed in himself. His eyes are still searching. Mang Jana patted the man on the shoulder, then led him out the gate. The man passed by, without a word. Face lowered. I heard there was sobs. The man passed by while crying.

Mang Jana immediately closed the gate.

"Regular, Boss. A madman. If the gate doesn't close, the lunatic always comes in."

"The crazy guy likes to go berserk? It's wrong?"

"Ga anyway. Never been raging all this time. But yes, if not expelled, he could be there until the night. It's just that, sitting down, looking for something. I don't know what he's looking for there." I listened a little scared. I think that crazy people like to go berserk, like to throw things, like to behave strangely, like to spoil.

Me and Mang Jana returned home, Mang Jana immediately went to the back of the house, helping Mang Ijar who had taken food from Mak Asih.

Just a few minutes apart, Mang Jana and Mang Ijar are ready to go back. They want to deliver food to the panyawah who are harvesting porang in the garden. I saw the gate open again. Mang Jana and Mang Ijar seem to have forgotten to close it again.

"Ran, in front of yuk's house." I'm taking Randi.

"What do you want?" Randi asked.

"Closing the gate, later if Mr. Samsudin comes, we open the gate again."

"It will be closed after Mr. Samsudin enters." Randi.

"Hh you don't know. If the gate opens, there's a madman coming in."

"Well! A madman? Where's?" Randi's eyes were wide.

"Yuk. Close the gate first." Randi finally complied, she followed me.

Finished closing the gate, I took Randi to sit in the saung. While waiting for Mr. Samsudin to come.

"Will. Come to think of it, I have to throw the baby away. To throw it away. Still lucky soon found by Mr. Samsudin. This is if you do not know for days how to try. Tega ya tuh people. You don't know the sins of the times?" Randi nagging.

"Ah her name is also human, Ran. There is good, there is evil. The one who threw the baby away was, of course, the bad guy. The irresponsible." I'm following Randi's blasphemy.

"Eh, Wil. That's Mr. Samsudin coming." I rushed towards the gate, opening the gate for Mr. Samsudin.

"Ouch, Boss. Why is it the boss who opens the gate?"

"It's nothing, sir. We were waiting for Mr. Ko. The gate was deliberately closed first, worried that a madman might come again. There was a madman, sir. Go in and sit in the saung." Mr. Samsudin seemed to take it easy to receive my report.

"Oh, that skinny lunatic huh? It's usual, mah. Crazy people are good. Not weird. At least sit down, find something, cry, keep coming out again, go." Mr. Samsudin is like he is no stranger to the incidence of madmen entering the gate.

"That's a crazy guy here a lot, sir?" Randi interrupts.

"It's been a long time, Cep. When Boss Acep was a kid too, that madman had been here a lot. So you've already memorized, crazy people are not weird."

"Come, let's go home. You brought something for Boss Acep. For Cep Randi too." Randi's eyes sparkle. He stepped up cheerfully.
