48. WE GO HOME

A bright morning. Something was different in this house this morning. This house is usually empty. Because each of the residents of the house is busy with his work. Mak in the kitchen, Mr. Samsudin ready to go to the garden, me and Randi clean the most in the yard.

This time, it was rame early in the morning. The children of the sun were awake when the dawn of the Adhan reverberated. Looks like they're just washing their faces, brushing their teeth, then ablution. Soon they had gathered in the living room, preparing for the morning prayer. Who became the priest Mr. Samsudin.

After the prayer, Mr. Samsudin invited us all to recite. Mr. Samsudin then gave advice,

"Many istighfar yes, son. Also pray for your parents, even if you don't know who they are. Pray, ask Allah to forgive your parents." Mr. Samsudin then led the do'a.

Finished praying, Mr. Samsudin prepared to go to the garden. Mak has prepared breakfast for Mr. Samsudin and all of us.

"Come, who wants to have breakfast with you?"

"Later on, sir. We're going to do some sports first." Randi invites children to exercise lightly in the yard.

22 People running back and forth between the terrace, the gate, the saung. All excited. But not seriously. Most of us were running around joking. The laughter of the children so warm the atmosphere.

"Wil, usual. Father at the gate." Randi.

"Sisters, try to stop for a moment, Brother wants to talk." The children stopped their activities.

"No, I want to tell you guys. That's what's behind the gate, there's the Fathers, that's Mr. Nana that you told me about yesterday." All eyes looked at a father, who was waiting for the gate to open.

"Sister, I'm scared."

"Me too, serem ih, brother. Look at his eyes."

"Yes, we're going in."

"Sssstt, don't be afraid, Mr. Nana is a bit abnormal, but you are good." Opik is talking.

"Let's see, Opik will open the gate." With confidence Opik stepped towards the gate. Of course Randi followed, because the gate would not be opened if only by Opik. The power of Opik is not yet strong enough to open the gate made of iron.

The gate opened, Mr. Nana rushed in, headed straight for the saung, then sat down.

"Come, brothers. Try all marching. We're doing a light warm-up." Randi leads. I glanced at Mr. Nana. Tumben this morning Mr. Nana was just sitting there watching us exercise. His lips were smiling, his eyes were looking at us all.

"Now we run in place yes, but do not have to hurry. Come on, start, one two three." Randi gives an example. Compact children perform movements according to instructions. In the saung I saw Mr. Nana standing up, and clapping with joy. Mr. Nana continued to clap, as the children of the sun moved.

Seeing the response of Mr. Nana, I came to a little conclusion that Mr. Nana was happy with a child.

"Ran, try here." Randi approaching.

"Why, Wil?"

"Try you notice, all this time Mr. Nana was so happy if there was Opik. Now Mr. Nana looks happy to see the children. I have an idea."

"What idea, Ran?"

"Biasalah, the idea of trial and error. But most later applied, Ran. Once there's a lead from the doctor who examined Mr. Nana."

"O is. Okay, let's." Okay."

Mak Asih and Mak Ucih came, carrying warm water and four fried banana dishes.

"Come here, if you don't want breakfast, fried bananas first." The children ran towards the terrace, scrambling to pick up the fried bananas.

"Hey brothers. Waving your hands at Mr. Nana." Children carry out instructions.

"here, Sir. C'mon here. Gather here with us." The compact kids call Mr. Nana. There was a cheerful laughter, a little running Mr. Nana approached us. Randi gave half a plate of fried bananas and a glass of water. Mr. Nana immediately took one fried banana and ate it so delicious.

"Ujang, his habits, can shower oge." (Pen: Ujang, the habit of not bathing yet) Grandma came from the gate.

"Euleuh, ni seueur murangkalih geuning, ieu saha, Cu?" (Pen: Ko many children, who is this, Cu?), I glanced at Opik, as usual, Opik acting as a translator.

"It's the children of the sun, Grandma. Coming from Bandung." Grandma looked at the children one by one.

"Sir, this is a fried banana, taste it first." Grandma took the fried banana Opik offered.

"God willing, we are today going to Cirebon. After the dzuhur prayer departs." Grandma nodded.

"Hayu Ujang, urang get ready." (Pen: Come on, Ujang, we're ready) Grandma only ate one fried banana, she drank only half a glass. The hand of Mr. Nana, brought him home. Mr. Nana according.

"Grandma go home first, kids."

"Yes, Grandma."

The children continue their activities. Some go to take a shower, some also help Opik water the plants and clean the garden. The girls went to the kitchen with empty plates of fried bananas and dirty glasses that we used to drink. Randi and I are ready to go to the market, shopping for stationery.

Time passed, adzan dzuhur reverberated. We had gathered in the middle room for congregational prayers. This time I was a priest. Mr. Samsudin has not returned.

"Sisters, let's get ready." All stood forming three shafs. Ready to perform prayers.

After the prayer, I appointed Deri, Ahmad and Toni to be priests alternately, during me and Randi in Cirebon. That's also if by chance Mr. Samsudin is not at home. Deri, Ahmad and Toni.

Arrival time. Mr. Nana, grandma, Dian, Mang Jana and Mang Ijar are ready in the car. Me and Randi paid their respects to everyone. Mang Ijar deliberately joined, to accompany Mang Jana back to Garut later in the afternoon.

"Don't forget to tell you too much, boss. Keep one more, do not hesitate to use the money in the ATM." Mr. Samsudin.

"Yes, Sir. Ready. Thank you, sir. Friday afternoon Wil came here again Inshaa Allah."

"Yes, just wait. Later picked up Mang Jana and Mang Ijar."

"Ok, Sir."

Smooth travel. Three hours of travel safely. Mr. Nana was quite calm during the trip. I and Randi were worried that Mr. Nana would act strangely, or do something quite troublesome. It's not, you just keep quiet, eyes looking out through the windshield of the car. I don't know what you're thinking.

We got home, Mother Nita and Mr. David greeted us with joy. Our grandmother introduced, Nita's mother kissed Grandma's hand, also kissed grandma's cheeks left and right. There's something I don't understand a little bit. The way Nita's mother looked at her grandmother, like a child who missed her mother so much. They met for the first time.
