Lawyer And Boss Miras
Without Footwear

Jay Parker is an Asian named Cho Jin Ryuk. When he was only fifteen years old, he was dragged into a third wave of immigration by Asians to America that began in 1965 due to colonization. Both of his parents died and upon his arrival in America, Jay was cared for by a native descendant named Bill Parker. Having knowledge of fermented spirits typical of his home country, Jay later founded a liquor company at the age of twenty-five. His business grew rapidly in a short time, without Jay knowing that Bill (the adoptive father) apparently did a monopoly on the price of basic goods. Amid a massive demonstration by his workers, Jay then tries to investigate whether the real thing is happening. The thirty-five-year-old pretended to be homeless and began to blend in with the environment of the workers.

In the middle of the mission, Jay meets a woman named Alexandra Meggie. The woman who is familiarly called Dara is a lawyer who is defending the fate of workers who are victims of a price monopoly by Jay's liquor company. She is an ambitious woman and promises to win the case even though her opponent is a conglomerate. Her determination was because she had to make a living to take care of her one-year-old son after being abandoned by her husband for good.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

The Los Angles, 1985.

A bus stops at the last stop before heading to Asia Town. A woman in black pantofel shoes entered while carrying a bag full of vegetables a gift from her client. He was silent for a moment after entering the bus. The bus was full and left only an empty seat. The woman hesitated, next to the bench sat a sleeping Asian man. Buses that go to Asia Town only transport Asian people. That woman should feel safe because around her there are only people of the same race as her. But the man looked different. It looks like a dangerous delinquent.

The Asian man was wearing only a sleeveless inner shirt that exposed his full tattooed left shoulder. The look was complete with torn jeans and shabby shoes that protected his legs. Coupled with the scent of liquor that burst out around the seat, making the woman think about sitting there.

"Miss, you better sit down. The bus will be running soon!" pinta was a passenger.

The woman knew the intent of the middle-aged man reprimanding her was good, so she decided to sit down despite a little bit of fret. Along the way his heart was pounding, afraid that at any moment the man would wake up and stab him with a sharp weapon.

The situation there is difficult to explain. The sheer thickness of racism scares immigrants all the time. It was even difficult to distinguish between good and bad even though they were from the same race.

The woman did not dare to glance at the young man beside her, she was just busy looking out the window. His heart grew increasingly anxious as the sky began to darken. He was a little late to come home because he had to serve his clients. The aunt had already reminded him not to return too late, as the situation in his place was extremely dangerous.

People do not want to do activities in the dark, unless they have entered Asia Town which for Asians like them is the safest place.

Along the way, the woman prayed that the speed of the bus would immediately take her to the last stop. Her legs were currently trembling in fear, the woman felt even more uneasy as she entered the sign that read "You Enter the Asia Town Region".

Happy, but scared too. Some lights installed along the road also died, some were even stolen and damaged by irresponsible parties. When the bus stopped, the woman immediately got out of her seat. He immediately walked out.

Two bus attendants approached the Asian man, who was still sleeping and not moving from his seat. It seems the man has not paid.

"I have no money" he said. "EOBSEO MONEY!!" he said again with a high tone. It looks like the man is from Korea.

The frightened woman came down regardless until she saw with her own eyes as the Asian man was pushed out violently by the bus attendant. For a moment he felt sorry to see the pitiful looking man. Until when the bus started walking away, the woman suddenly remembered. He left his client's greens on the bus.

"HEY!!! STOP!!!" his screams were immediately responded to with laughter by the Asian man.

"You yell as loud as they can they won't want to come back if they're in this area" the man said.

The woman who had been worried from the beginning then ran as fast as possible to get away from the man immediately. It's okay that the vegetables were taken away by the bus, the most important thing now is to save yourself.

After feeling that it was far away, the woman then slowed down her steps. He gasps, night sports using pantofel is not a good idea. As he stepped up the sidewalk, he stumbled and realized that his shoes were torn.

"Damn!" objurgation. The woman decided to take off her shoes and put them in the bag she was holding.

Next he stopped at a day care home, where he left the son all day.

"Miss Dara, why did you just come?" the nanny now observes Dara, finding her a pair of bare, unrequited legs. "You're okay, right?" tanyanya's worried.

"Oh, this is.My shoes were torn so I decided not to wear them. I'm sorry for making Noah wait so long" replied the woman named Dara.

"Noah fell asleep, thankfully he didn't cry." The nanny takes Noah out of his bed and hands him to Dara.

"Thank you for taking care of Noah all day," said Dara while offering five dollars.

"Together, Miss. You better get home soon, it's getting dark."

"Yes. See you tomorrow morning" said Dara who then left the house. He held Noah in front. Along the way he looked at the sleeping face of the son. At that time Dara was sad. He was sad because he could not give his time to take care of Noah and had to be busy working to meet the needs of life.

When he saw the streets were very quiet, Dara increasingly speed up his steps. About the distance of his house from where he stood was a mile. His originally fast steps now stopped seeing two large-bodied native-born men who confronted him in front of him. Without a second thought Dara immediately turned around and decided to pass somewhere else.

Apparently, two American men followed him. One of them confronted him right in front, the other stood behind Dara so that the woman felt surrounded and did not know where to run.

"Miss, why walk alone?" ask the man.
