Lawyer And Boss Miras
Spice Soup

The aroma of cooking from the kitchen tickles the sense of smell of Dara. Wanitu woke up from sleep and stretched his muscles. He found the son still asleep hugging his little roll. The clock also shows at six in the morning.

Curious, Dara soon wakes up to check who is busy there. When entering the room, Dara found Aunt Kim who now uses an apron on her body and is busy cooking soup.

"Hmmm... It smells good" said Dara, which caught Aunt Kim's attention. The middle-aged woman smiled.

"There were carrots in the cupboard, so I took the initiative to make some spice soup" Aunt Kim replied.

Dara approached the woman then grabbed a spoonful of soup to taste her gravy.

"What a son..." His eyes were glazed.

"Of course it's good. Take a shower, I'll take care of Noah. After that let's eat together" Aunt Kim said.

Dara poses respectfully to the aunt. "Ready, boss!" he said he then walked to the bathroom and grabbed a towel.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Today was so cold, Mr. Chris took the initiative to serve soup for Jay's breakfast this morning. He ordered the cook to make Jay chicken soup by adding a strong spice. It is believed to raise the mood and warm the body in this weather.

Jay could barely sleep last night. I don't know why being in his own home actually makes him feel unsettled. He was actually worried about the situation of Dara and Noah in Asia Town.

"Mr Jay." Chris knocked on Jay's door.

"Get in," Jay replied, giving permission. The man half-carrying the neat one in.

"Your breakfast is ready, sir" he said. Jay just nodded. He got out of his bed and walked out into the dining room.

Arriving there, he saw a soup dish that had been served on the table.

"Soup?" He asks.

"Yes, sir. The weather outside is very cold, it looks like winter is coming soon" Chris replied.

Not approaching the dining table, Jay actually walked to the large window in the room. He looked at the situation outside. The leaves seemed to have filled the leaves.

"What's stirring your mind, sir?" ask Chris to worry.

Jay turned around and sat down at the dinner table to start eating his soup while it was warm.

"Nothing" he replied. The man then began to spoon the soup into his mouth. The taste of the gravy with a strong spice really spoils his tongue. As he ate a good meal, he suddenly remembered Dara and Noah.

What did they eat today? Ask Jay in your heart. The man can't seem to stop thinking about his new 'family.

"How does it feel, sir?" ask Chris. Jay took a quick glance at it then nodded his head in the sign that he could enjoy the food well.

"Enak. Give the cook a gift. It reminds me of Asia Town" Jay replied.

Hearing that, Chris smiled. "Does this food remind you of someone?"

"Yes... Strong spices remind me of the soup in the noodle shop where I work," Jay said as he enjoyed the meal.

"I think you remember someone else."

Jay glanced back. "Who?"

Chris was still smiling, actually he did not dare to tease Jay. "That boy named Noah...."

"You're funny, how can a toddler cook a spice soup" Jay cut.

"Yes, right. But his mother can."

Jay immediately choked. Chris immediately poured water on an empty glass and thrust it at Jay.

"Slowly eating, sir," he said in a panic.

Jay then sipped water in the glass until it ran out. After he stopped coughing, he then stared intently at Chris.

"Pardon, sir. It's because of me, huh?" Chris looked down to show regret, even though he actually laughed in his heart because he had succeeded in tempting Jay.

"Chris, I have a confession" Jay said later.

At that time Jay again thought, should he tell Chris about what had happened between him and Dara?

"Actually Aunt Kim only gave me one day off" Jay replied after pausing a silly confession in her head.

"So how, sir?"

"I have to go back to Asia Town today as well" said Jay who then continued his eating activities.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Jay was just escorted by Chris to the stop, where the entrance to Asia Town was not far from there.

"When else do I have to pick you up?" ask Chris.

"No need to be picked up. I'm not sure when I'll be back." Jay then got out of the car. "Oh yes, thank you, uncle!" jay Goda.

Chris just froze behind the wheel of the car. Pretending to be his uncle Jay makes Chris feel awkward.

"Bright, sir." It even stammered.

Jay then turned around to enter the city holding a shabby backpack containing a typical Seattle snack. The amount is not much, just enough to perfect the disguise.

Arriving at home, he did not expect if it would be welcomed by Dara and Aunt Kim. Even Noah was also excited to see Jay's return.

"Why just got home. Auntie is very worried about you" said Aunt Kim as she led Jay into the house.

"He He's... My uncle won't let me go home." Jay quibble.

"That's what I'm worried about. I thought you weren't coming back here."

"It seems I should keep coming back. Cause if I don't, I'm gonna lose my job."

Dara who was there can only smile to see Jay talking with Aunt Kim. Just like her aunt, Dara was actually also worried that Jay would not come back.

"What were you riding on?" ask Aunt Kim.

"I got on the bus. The terminal was so crowded, I almost missed the bus" Jay replied.

"So did you get on the bus?" ask Aunt Kim again. Jay shakes.

"No. From Seattle I went straight down in Asia Town" Jay replied.

"Can that be? I just found out that from Seattle can go directly to Asia Town" said Dara. The distance between Seattle and Asia Town is quite far allowing bus passengers to take another bus, because the bus there only operates twenty kilo meters at most.

Hearing Dara's words, makes Jay confused what to reason. He should have figured out the bus route from Seattle to Asia Town. Not just to answer.

"Ah... I hungry. I didn't have time for breakfast," Jay said, shifting the subject.

"Come, eat first. Auntie cooked a special spice soup today, you've definitely never eaten anything like this, have you?" Aunt Kim walks into the kitchen followed by Jay.

The middle-aged woman then moved the soup into a bowl. He then presented it to Jay.

"This is a favorite food of upper middle class people. They used to make soups like this before winter" Aunt Kim said.

Jay scooped the soup into his mouth and showed a fond expression.

"You like it? Not delicious?" aunt Kim asked for an opinion.

Jay nodded. "It's so delicious... That's incredible!" his praise. "Oh yeah, bi. I also brought you souvenirs from my uncle in Seattle." Jay took out a packet of dry bread and potato chips from his bag.

"Gee... Your uncle is very kind. Thank you, yes!" said Aunt Kim.

Dara who was also enthusiastic began to see the parcels one by one. On the name label on the snack it says the name of the company. Dara then looked at Jay with a confused look.

"This meal is from Won Company."

Aunt Kim and Jay, who had been talking, turned to Dara. The woman was still staring at Jay questioningly.

"Are you from Won Company?" ask Jay Dara. The man fell silent, what plan would he put together after this?
