"Won Company?" Jay tilted his head. He seemed to have no idea what Dara was asking.
"Yes, these foods are from the Won Company. How did you get it?" ask Dara again.
The souvenirs brought by Jay are not sold freely in the market. Only certain people can get it. But Jay didn't lose his mind.
"Oh, that... My uncle got it from a gift shop in Seattle. Won Company employees who get the parcels and foods are used to sell them again to the public. You know that company is very successful. A lot of people are curious about the snacks" explained Jay.
Dara was silent. Jay's explanation makes sense.
"Why does the liquor company produce pastries and potato chips?" Aunt Kim wondered about it.
"Mmmm... Maybe because this snack is suitable to accompany drinks," guess Jay.
"yes too. People who do not have access to the company must be very curious about their snacks. Moreover, the liquor is so good," Aunt Kim said as she chose the package on the table.
"Did your uncle work for Won Company?" ask Dara again.
"No" answered Jay. The suspicious look on Dara's face made Aunt Kim feel upset.
"Come, Dara... Don't burden Jay with those questions. After all what Jay told me was perfectly natural."
"Yes, I know. I'm just curious. I'm sorry, Jay," said Dara. Jay smiled and nodded. But a curious look was still left on the woman's face.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
That night Jay sat back in the backyard. He now feels addicted to seeing the sky, especially the star-filled night sky.
As winter approaches, the stars do look a lot more. The night sky is also brighter. Dara who finished putting Noah to sleep approached Jay behind. He sat next to Jay and looked up at the sky.
"I don't think you're coming back" Dara said.
Jay, who was busy looking at the sky, turned to Dara. He smiled knot. "You miss me?" goda.
"No. Just plain," replied Dara quickly.
Jay shifted her seat slightly until she brushed aside the distance with Dara.
"I miss you" Jay whispered.
"Lying," Dara replied as she glanced cynically. It was only met with laughter by Jay.
"Jay... I'm still curious. Does your uncle know anyone from Won Company?" ask Dara. The woman did not give up if she had to dig up information.
"Yes." Yeah." Jay changed his tone to seriua. "He served someone from Won Company."
Hearing that, Dara was a little surprised. "That means your uncle might know something about Won Company?"
"Not necessarily." Jay dodged. "My uncle only serves that guy, he can't possibly know about the company's problems" Jay continued.
Dara breathed a long breath. "I really need that information, no matter how small."
"You should go there if you want to dig up information."
"You mean, to Won Company's office?"
Jay nodded. "You're not afraid of fighting that big company?"
"Little." Dara smiled bitterly. "I felt the bravest at first for taking the case. But now I'm scared."
Still fresh in his memory when he was visited by two unknown people until Jay ended up being the victim of stabbing.
"I'm afraid of harming those around me" Dara continued.
"Just calm. I've decided to take care of you guys" Jay said.
"You should have known the answer" Jay replied.
The two men looked at each other, until Jay began to bring his face closer intending to land his lips on Dara's lips. But suddenly accidentally, Jay sees the shadow of someone watching them from a distance.
"Because" said Jay, undoing what he was going to do. "Hurry in."
Jay then leads Dara in and locks the door.
"Wait here and take care of Noah. I'll be right back" Jay said, turning around. But Dara held Jay's hand.
"Where are you going?"
"Is there something I need to take care of?"
"Is there anyone lurking again?"
Jay nodded. "I'll sort it out, just relax."
"You're just alone. Is that okay?" ask Dara worried.
"Just calm down, I can take care of it." Jay calms Dara. The woman finally let Jay go.
Meanwhile a mysterious man is hiding behind a wall. He took a piece of a polaroid photograph that had just been printed from his camera.
Coincidentally he got a picture of the bagua where Jay was kissing the Lawyer's workers. Yes, even if it's not done.
"Mr Bill must have given me a high bonus for these photos" he murmured while chuckling.
"Unfortunately, it looks like you won't get a bonus" said Jay, who was suddenly standing in front of the stalker.
Unable to escape, the stalker is pulled by Jay until he falls. Jay grabbed the collar of the man's shirt and clutched it tight.
"Akhs...Akh..." The man almost choked.
"Give me that photo, or your life will end tonight!" threatening Jay. The man in front of him nodded while enduring the pain in his strangled neck.
He grabbed the photo in his pocket and handed it to Jay. After Jay got the photo, he took off the collar of the lookout man he had originally clutched.
Jay looked at the photo for a moment. From his angle it is so clear that he was kissing with Dara, when in fact he had not had time. Not wanting this to leak to his father, Jay then tore the photo into small pieces. Jay also grabbed a camera that ran down the neck of the surveillance man, then stepped on the camera until it was damaged.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Despite having been battered by being beaten by Jay, the man still decided to face the boss—Bill Parker. Apparently he didn't just take one photo. He managed to photograph several times so that he could still report to Jay's adoptive father.
Bill Parker looked at the pictures, and there was a picture of Jay kissing Dara. It's just that the last photo Jay took was the best. If only the man could bring it directly to Bill Parker then he would get more bonuses.
"Isn't Alexandra Meggie married?" ask Bill who feels inexhaustible with what Jay has done.
"From the information I have gathered, Alexandra Meggie has been widowed after her husband's death" the man explained.
"I'm actually confused by what Jay's trying to do. I think he will investigate the case that befell his company, cih. Apparently he was even fun with widows," Bill Parker murmured.
"But it looks like it's Mr. Jay's strategy to dig up that information, sir."
"Information?" Bill tilted his head. He laughed then. "It looks like this is pure love. Jay would be a fool to fall in love."
"Oh, yeah... I have one more assignment for you" Bill said.
"What is that, sir?"
"Bribble the judge and have him suspend the investigation and surrender the evidence" Bill replied.
"Good, sir."
