Lawyer And Boss Miras
List of Lies

"What lie does Aunt mean?" Dara asked.

Aunt Kim was in a panic when Dara suddenly fainted at her shop, so she had to shut down because she had to take care of her. He is helped by the neighbors to bring the fainted Dara home.

A glass of warm water in Aunt Kim's hand, he put it on the nightstand. The middle-aged woman lowered her head, as if reluctant to tell Jay about her suspicions lately.

It's been time and again that Aunt Kim tries to think positively and tries to trust Jay. But, there must be something that makes him feel suspicious.

"Jay said he was homeless and living alone in America, but in reality he had an uncle who lived in Seattle" Aunt Kim said.

The only thing he dislikes about Jay is the man's obscurity. At first Aunt Kim was afraid that Jay was a bad person.

"He said that because maybe at that time he had no place to stay" said Dara.

"Yes, I understand that. But he initially said that his uncle was a farmer, whereas his uncle was a confidant of the Won Company owner."

Dara was silent, she could not deny that. Although his head just keeps trying to think positive, but the reality is the opposite.

"That night when I saw him going to the pay phone, he said that he needed to tell his uncle who had to be a witness to the money monopoly case. In fact, he often went to that place at almost the same hour even in the early hours." Aunt Kim gave a pause to her speech, she looked at Dara who was currently still silent listening to Aunt Kim's speech.

"If his uncle was a wanted witness by the Won Company, it must have been related to Jay who always went to the public telephone. Before he returned to Seattle, he said he never communicated with his uncle. In fact, he called her a lot" Aunt Kim continued. Dara was getting speechless.

"Another trivial lie perpetrated by Jay. He never took the bus to Seattle, he didn't even understand the bus route" Aunt Kim said.

Dara's eyes began to glaze over. He couldn't believe that Jay had been lying to them all this time.

"He's a good man, even willing to be stabbed for you. But, what if what he's been doing all this time is just part of his charade?" ask Aunt Kim.

"So you mean Auntie, Jay is a spy sent by the Won Company to foil a case I've been working on?"

Aunt Kim nodded. Now Dara understands why the court suddenly postponed the trial unilaterally. They may be preparing a plan to put up a fight.

Yeah, Dara never felt betrayed like this.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

The bus heading to Asia Town Stop is currently not too full. Dara sat next to the window holding her stomach. How poor is that woman. He feels betrayed by Jay for the second time.

"It's so bad of him" he murmured. Unknowingly the drops of tears drenched her cheeks, Dara wiped her down quickly. He didn't want to be caught crying in public.

Now what should he do? His stomach will grow bigger and bigger. Will he be able to care for the child alone? He was still often lacking and worried about not being able to make his first son, Noah happy.

Even more painful, Dara did not know who to tell about this pregnancy. How would Aunt Kim respond if she found out? That woman is like Dara's mother. He could not bear to let Aunt Kim about this harsh reality.

The woman got off when the bus had stopped at the last stop. While walking towards the house, Dara tried to rotate the brain. But strangely enough, Dara's head could not even think at that time.

"How is this?"

"How is this?"

"How is this?"

The sentence was spoken by Dara along the way. Unknowingly, he arrived home. Aunt Kim and Noah get out of there and welcome Dara.

Dara did not answer, he just passed by the aunt and walked in. The woman sat down at the dining table while covering her face with both hands.

"Well, what's wrong?" aunt Kim panicked. Until Dara's sobbing was heard from behind the hands, making Aunt Kim feel sad.

He sat down beside Dara and rubbed her back. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" ask her in a soft tone.

Instead of answering, Dara was getting sobbing. Noah, who was in Aunt Kim's lap, cried. He eventually distanced Noah from his grieving mother.

Aunt Kim left Dara alone in the kitchen. He chose to take care of Noah all day until the boy fell asleep. After feeling the moment was right, Aunt Kim immediately approached Dara who seemed to feel calmer.

Both of the woman's eye bags were swollen, her face was still deathly pale. A glass of warm tea was offered by Aunt Kim to Dara. The woman grabbed him and sipped the tea slowly to feel relaxed.

"What's going on?" ask Aunt Kim.

Dara seemed to be planning to answer that question. Although it was difficult for him, he had to tell Aunt Kim.

"I can't believe Jay really left me" she said in a trembling voice.

Aunt Kim clucked in annoyance. "You still think about the impostor? What do you expect from him anyway?"

Dara downing her salivary. "Aunty Kim, what should I do now?"

"Don't beg him. He left because it was his will" Aunt Kim replied.

"What if there's a situation that requires me to beg him?" ask Dara again.

Aunt Kim was silent for a moment. "What do you mean?"

"You may curse me after I say this..." Dara bit her bottom seedling. Her tears came back out.

"What do you mean?" That was the only question that constantly came out of Aunt Kim's lips.

"I'm pregnant" said Dara.

Not only him, Aunt Kim also felt his world seemed to collapse. When the person she thought was like a princess herself experienced this kind of tragic thing.

"Baj1ngan it!" objurgation. He started shaking both shoulders. "Why did you do that? Aunty thought you were a clever woman!!!" enragedly.

Dara melengos, he was already fooled by love.

"Sorry," he said.

"Sorry??? Who are you apologizing to? To Aunty? To Noah? Or your baby?"

Dara again shed tears. Aunt Kim took off her control, she rubbed her face many times due to the cold sweat that started to come out.

"You have failed at everything. Become a lawyer, become a mother and become a woman. I don't know where else your pride lies." Aunt Kim nagging.

"Is this going to be a disgrace? Isn't this common here?" Dara still had time to ask in tears.

"Asia Town is different from the country they are in. You're a disgrace if you get pregnant out of wedlock" Aunt Kim replied. "I have to do something. I have to ask Jay to take responsibility!" said Aunt Kim.
