On his way to Asia Town, Jay sees his father's car passing ahead of the bus carrying him.
Jay was aghast and worried and then he stood up from his stool. The car was speeding and suddenly swooped in blocking the way of the bus carrying dozens of passengers.
The bus brakes squeaked, all the passengers on the bus screaming. They are worried if the car facing them is an anti-Asian gang.
"Who are they?!"
"Death to us!"
"Let's get off!"
The passengers panicked. When panic strikes, those who try to exit the bus through the back door do not wince when the door is held by several large tall African-American men from outside.
No exception Jay who lost access to get out. The nicest car in front of us opens the door. A middle-aged man came out to enter the bus to make the people in it join the fog.
The man who is none other than Bill Parker was accompanied by two fully armed bodyguards. Bill's eyes were immediately fixed on Jay who could only be silent in his seat.
"Back home!" pinta Bill, make the view of everyone on the bus fixed on Jay.
Their gaze seemed to blame Jay who was on the bus, making the people there feel his life was threatened.
Seeing Jay who was just silent without response, made Bill growl.
"Where are you going?" ask Bill.
Jay looked up at his adoptive father. "Dad actually knew where I was going. Why are you still asking?"
A cynical smile was clearly drawn on Bill's face. Jay has never been so outspoken in opposition to this in front of him.
"You're good at answering, son." Bill's angry face he held, as much as possible he gave a smile to Jay.
He clenched his hands, fed up with the cheap clothes Jay was wearing. I don't know what Alexandra Meggie did to make Jay like this.
"Why do you wear ugly clothes as if there are no designers lining up to give you the right clothes" Bill said.
While passengers on the bus just stiffened but enthusiastic too, like they saw a live television drama.
"I want to be another me. Everyone has an alter ego, right?" murmur Jay.
Bill laughed loudly. He is upset because the question that was previously deflected by Jay.
"You haven't been in Paris for long, why not take a break at home and get served all your needs by Chris?"
Jay clucking. He doesn't want to be blocked. For two weeks he had not met his family in Asia Town.
"I'm only gone for a minute, why is it that you act as if I'm a fugitive of the state?" Jay glanced at the two bodyguards the father was carrying the weapon.
Bill melengos's. "Dad only proved to you that you can bluff, or even do even more dangerous things."
The man grabbed the bodyguard's weapon and fired his bullet towards the roof of the bus into holes.
Everyone in there screamed in fear, while Jay was now fed up with his father.
"What do you really want?" ask Jay frustrated.
Bill smiled. "You need to feed your fish in my pond" he replied.
Jay took a deep breath, annoyed, his patience was running out. He then moved out of his place and exited through the back door.
The people who had initially held the door opened it and let Jay out.
Jay then gets into Bill's car, he has to relinquish this time and postpone his meeting with Dara and Noah.
Bill smiles complacently and gets off the bus, freeing the vehicle back to their delayed journey.
"Here, the restitution for your perforated roof." Bill put a few hundred dollar bills on the bus dashboard.
"Dad has a surprise for you" Bill said as he entered his car and sat next to Jay.
"I'm not on my birthday" Jay said.
"It doesn't take a birthday to surprise you, Jay. After all, this had to do with the person in Asia Town..." Bill took a picture and handed it to Jay.
Hearing that, Jay stiffened. Slowly he grabbed the photo out of Bill's hand. His eyes were round when he saw the picture in the photo, what had the father done and why did he do it?
"A disaster cannot be predicted when it will come..." Bill laughed softly. "But they're lucky they didn't die."
Jay clenched his hands, trying to be calm. The photo in his hand that showed a fire event, he held tightly.
"There are a lot of victims there. But take it easy, most of the buildings there are already insured by the government." Bill looked towards Jay. Jay's silent response was not what he expected.
"You look too calm for this big news" Bill said.
"Then I have to respond how?" ask Jay.
"The little boy..."
Jay held his breath. What child does Bill mean?
"The son of lawyer Alexandra Meggie, suffered severe burns."
Jay's blood was boiling hearing that. How did that happen? While a haughty look began to be clearly drawn on Bill's face.
