Lawyer And Boss Miras

Lawyer And Boss Miras
Bereft

Jay woke up from his short sleep, Dara was currently staring at him as if there was a question he was going to say.

"What's up?" ask Jay.

"It's okay." The woman touched Jay's bruised cheek, the tip of the man's lip was also injured. "What happened to you?" tanyakanya.

"Ah.soo." Jay chuckles.

"You fighting?" dara asked, Jay nodded in affirmation. Although literally he did not really fight but was beaten.

"Why fight?" ask Dara again.

"Yes.common. You know, a lot of people are sensitive to Asian immigrants" Jay replied. That's his daily life if around the Asian Town, becoming a free author but less reliable.

"Next time avoid them. You don't have to waste your energy" said Dara giving advice.

Jay nodded with a smile, he would not blame Dara who was worried about him. They are husband and wife, it is only natural to worry about each other.

"You hungry?" ask Jay.

Dara looked down, her stomach had not been filled since yesterday.

"I'll buy you food." Jay moved, but Dara held the man's arm.

"What about the money? Didn't you just pay for Noah's medical expenses. That cost's not a little, Jay..."

"Just relax, there's still money left to buy food" Jay replied with a smile.

"Where exactly did you get that money, Jay?" ask Dara.

Ah, again Jay had to rack his brains to answer such a question.

"Th-that.mmmm... My uncle!" answer Jay. In his head could only think of that answer.

"Your uncle lent you the money?" ask Dara.

Jay nodded. "Yes. That money is his retirement savings."

I want Jay to be damning himself. He's not good at lying, but hopefully Dara will.

"How do we get it back?"

"Just calm down, it's my business."

"Jay..." Dara still won't let go of Jay's hand. "Thank you for fighting for Noah."

Jay held Dara's hand. "Did you forget that I was your husband? It's my duty, you don't even have to thank me."

Dara shed her tears, she nodded. Jay then went out of the hospital to buy food.

Not willing to waste a chance, Jay stopped by a pay phone. He will give Chris his job.

"Hallo, this is Jay Parker. Chris, I have a job for you. Please investigate what caused the huge fire that occurred in the settlement of Asia Town!" pinta Jay's.

Chris who was given the task was obedient. Jay then immediately hung up the phone and rushed to buy some food.

When he returns to the hospital, Jay is presented with a sight he does not want. Several doctors and nurses were standing in front of Noah's room, while there was also a nurse who was calming Dara who was crying.

"Well, what's going on?" jay asked after running up to the men.

The woman could not answer, stopping her crying there was already difficult. He is speechless at the moment.

"The toddler who was treated in this room died" one of the doctors told Jay.

Instantly collapsing is Jay's world. The plastic containing the food he held fell, as Jay's fingers began to squeeze.

His eyes began to turn red, tears began to pool. The man then grabbed Dara's body and carried her into the deck.

Jay couldn't even cry even if he wanted to. He must look strong in front of Dara who is currently devastated by being left behind by the son.

Slowly, Jay patted Dara on the back and let the woman cry. The world felt silent for a moment. Not a single sound could penetrate Jay's hearing, only Dara's cries filled his head at this moment.

'Oh my God, why is this all happening to us?' Inner Jay.

Jay saw his own chest swallowed by the ground, he could not stop his crying at that time. Beside him was the mother who held Jay's hand tightly. The woman didn't cry at all, just like Jay does today.

Jay used to think if the mother did not grieve when Jay's father died, but now he knows what the reason of his mother who did not cry at that time. He was just trying to strengthen Jay. So is Jay who is currently trying to strengthen Dara.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

A small chest was carried by Jay's hands. The man himself would deliver Noah to his burrow.

The ranks of mourners in all-black clothes wept over the departure of the only victim to die in the big fire.

Aunt Kim and Dara are seen lamenting Noah's departure for good. They are still crying at the moment.

Jay put the crate into the burrow. Afterwards the burrow was covered with soil until it disappeared from Jay's sight.

'Goodbye, my son!' inner Jay.

All the memories he had spent with Noah were now twisted inside his head like flashbacks. On this day after all this time, Jay's wound that had been closed, was now back open. He felt the same pain when he lost both his parents.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Jay returns to Seattle and tells Chris to pick him up. On the way Chris shows a discovery at the scene of the fire.

A man said he went to the fire site to retrieve evidence left behind.

At that time, Chris' man had photographed the presence of the mysterious men.

The items left at the site were a matchbook and some fuel derigen purchased from the refueling station.

When he saw the portrait, Jay felt familiar with some of the large-bodied men caught in the photo.

"These guys seem to be my father's bodyguards" Jay murmured.

"Are you sure, sir? Why did Mr Bill do that?" Chris was curious.

"Only I know why. Now, take me to my father's house!" pinta Jay's.

"Good, sir." Chris nodded obediently.

They were speeding through the crowded streets of Seattle. Arriving at Bill's house, Jay immediately searches for the whereabouts of his father.

The middle-aged man was apparently in the backyard and standing in front of the pool.

One of his hands carried one plastic fish meal, Bill occasionally sprinkled it into the pond.

When he saw Jay, Bill smiled. He welcomed the arrival of the son with great kindness.

"Look, Jay! I'm feeding your fish, you're happy, aren't you?" abugn.

Jay who had just arrived in front of Bill immediately denied the plastic fish food until everything fell into the pond.

Bill exhaled an annoyed breath. "Yes, the fish will really feast" he said, lamenting all the fish food that splashed into the pond.

"Can you explain this?!" jay asked, raising his tone.

He showed the photo he got from Chris to Bill.

"So, they got caught?" Bill responds flatly.

"What's? So it's all right, dad did this?" ask Jay. He was very disappointed in Bill.

"You think I'm messing around?" Bill smiled. "You just stick to me, and everything will be fine" he continued.

"I'm not a kid you can always manage for life" Jay replied.

"Whatever your age, you're still my son Jay. I have the right to rule you for life" Bill said.

Jay felt arguing with Bill was a free thing. He turns around and leaves, but a threat returns from Bill's mouth.

"Just keep going, there are still a lot of little surprises for you" Bill said.

While Jay just left without even bothering to heed the threat.
